Max sat at the bench looking over the water. he smiled he use to love this event. The Extreme show was some thing that had always sent his blood pumping. He looked at the stalls all selling extreme sports good last year he had taken part in the sky jump and he should of died. he Watched on as some of the scatters were showing of there tricks.
He was here in what he called his own world or it was back then. he knew most of the people in here and they knew him. He was good could probably beat most of them anyways specialty know when he had no fear of death.
HE had been in a real superhero battle well he got shot in the head and that was interesting and not as painful as people said it should be then again he felt nothing but a small bit of pressure. The problem was cable had messed with his head like he was Sky plus he had no clue what was the real set of memory's and which ones were fake. He had felt even worse when Amara had been hurt if it had not been for Deadpool he could of been there to help her and maybe she would of not been hurt.
Xavier had offered him a place at the school and he had said yes part of this was because he wanted to be close to Amara and get his education going again but was he a Hero no he was not that Scott had summed it up he was worthless if it was not for him thy would not of walked in to the trap.

In all her years living in New York, her schedule had never actually allowed her to bare witness to this before—the different events, the masses of people, and the ones risking their life for that one moment of euphoria. It all seemed to good to be true, and the only thing that could make it better was if she actually had any talent when it came to things with wheels and she was involved in the event. Alas, she doubted it would have kept her interest for long anyway, for she tended to get bored easily, not exactly good at sticking with things, though when she did, she normally excelled—then again, that was probably because she would obsess over it and practice until it was perfect, or at least as close to perfect as she could accomplish.
Still, she could not help but grimace slightly as one of the skaters wiped out, watching as the male quickly recovered, standing back up to keep at it. Even if the tricks were impressive, she still found watching them a little mundane, having trouble focusing on it as a small sigh left her lips.
The real reason she was even here was actually due to one of her friends participating, and she was his “moral support”, so to speak. It was his first time, and personally, Charlotte expected the worse, but she would root for him nonetheless. Of course, it would still be some time before he was up, and in the mean time she really needed to find a way to pass the time, her eyes drifting off to the side and catching site of a blonde male who looked rather enthralled by it all.
“You into this stuff?” she asked casually, merely trying to spark a conversation as she offered him a wide grin, hoping to catch his interest—talking to him would definitely help pass the time.

"yeah use to take part every year.in at least two of the events but age and an injury stopped me." he did miss the whole thing but with his powers he had to be careful if he jumped wrong he would jump to high or put his foot threw a board. " In truth this is the first year i had not taken part." he watched as the kid wiped out he had improved since last year." clearly it was not enough. "so i gather by your expression your not a competitor?" he watch as the man left and some one else came up he was good but Max was better. God he missed all this it was a shame that he had stopped.

Charlotte nodded sagely at his reply, looking him over for a moment—he did not look very old, nor did it appear that he had any obvious injuries, but she would take his word for it anyway. Besides, he was actually fairly cute, though her thoughts did not exceed simply acknowledging his physical appearance as above average, continuing to offer him an even grin as she listened to him, her gaze occasionally shifting back to watch the skaters every now and again, if only to make sure she had not gotten the times screwed up and accidentally missed her friend. Wouldn’t that be a bitch?
“You don’t look that old,” she commented offhandedly, eyes scanning his face—no apparent wrinkles that would indicate he was getting old, and he still seemed fit, so whatever that injury had been, it must have been crippling when it came to this sport. “Shame you can’t participate anymore,” Charlotte added, genuinely sympathetic—he seemed rather put off by the fact he was unable to compete, especially from the way his eyes stared longingly at the other skaters. The brunette could not personally imagine being unable to do something she loved so much, and quite imagined it would slowly but surely drive her mad.
“How perceptive of you,” the female chuckled softly when he came to the conclusion that she was not here skate herself. “You’re right, though. I’d probably end up banging myself up pretty bad if I even tried this stuff—I’m actually here for a friend,” she informed him, fingers moving to lightly brush her hair back and out of her face, friendly smile still plastered across her lips. “What kind of injury did you sustain anyway?” She mostly wanted to keep the conversation going, but her curiosity had been piqued about that as well. Maybe he had some sexy scars from it?

"Sky diving. Not my best landing and well after that things like boarding is not as easy as i thought it was. So is it your friends first? they are the hardest but it gets easier with time. Its not that bad here compared to some of the others have a more demanding track. The do try and stage some of the newest talent here which is good its all about getting people involved."
He remembered his first time but the buzz he felt it was a faded memory now along with a lot of things he felt. The world had changed so much for him

Sky diving? Now that sounded rather exciting, though she was not so sure how she felt about jumping out of a plane thousands of miles in the air. While Charlotte was not scared of heights, she certainly was not that fond of them either, but she had always thought sky diving lessons were rather pricy, and probably not something she could work into her meek little budget. It would still be worth looking into, though, if only to have that experience under her belt. Her hands, feeling terribly awkward being as idle as they were, moved to shove themselves in her jean pockets as she listened to the blonde, nodding her head at his inquiry. “Yeah, it is his first time,” she confirmed with a small shrug, that light smile still teasing across her soft lips.
“I think he’s just nervous in general though, easy track or not,” Charlotte murmured thoughtfully, remembering the anxious smile her onyx haired companion had given her before they parted ways. He seemed rather shaken, but at the same time looked to be thrilled to have the opportunity, and she could only hope he excelled at it. If not, she could always try to ease his disappointment with some of her humor (even if it would probably be in bad taste).
“So did you just come here to watch and reminisce?” the mutant asked, an eyebrow slowly rising upon her forehead in curiosity. She would have thought someone who loved a sport so much would more or less be torturing themselves by watching it while being fully aware they were unable to ever do it again. “Sounds like it would be a bit of a bummer to me,” she added, gaze once again slithering toward the competitors.

"I have a lot on my plate and I thought that i would escape from collage and get some escape from my course. Yeah it is a bummer but thats life it goes on." no mater how hard you try to end it. " That and i work part time at one of the stores and said i would help out Today."
he had no clue how to explain it he did want to come out and say it about his powers or anything like that so he thought it would be best to change the subject to some thing else. " so you never given it much thought then trying any of this?"

”That’s true. Can’t let something like that stop you from living, right? I mean, that would be no fun. Anyway, I’m sure you could find something else distract yourself with—this is New York, there’s always trouble to be had,” a wide, mischievous grin had appeared upon her countenance at the words, her mind already formulating different plans of mayhem. How she ached to break free of her normal, daily routine that was life, and do something more with her life besides serve people hamburgers. Charlotte wanted to do more than extreme sports, more than skydiving, she wanted to do something downright reckless, and if it were illegal, that would only heighten her excitement. If someone walked up to her right now and asked her to help rob a bank, she would have jumped at the opportunity.
So lost in thought, she had hardly even heard the male, her eyes unfocused as they stared off into space, her imagination momentarily taking over. Car chases, gun fights, hell, fights in general, now that sounded like a good time. Perhaps she was looking at it all wrong, though? Charlotte had been waiting for someone to come to her, but how many people really had things like that happen to them out of the blue? Maybe she needed to be a little more proactive about it…
Before she could let herself become to far gone, she twisted a smile back upon her lips, eyes dilating as she stared up at her male companion. “Trying this stuff?” she asked, throwing another absent glance at the skaters, a crooked smirk creeping upon her maw. “Nah, not really. I mean, I’m sure it’s awesome for other people, but it’s just not my kind of thing, you know? I’d rather do something a little more…” her voice trailed off, trying to find the right word for it. “Exhilarating, I guess? Not that this isn’t, of course, but like I said, not really my kind of thing.”

"so what would you call Exhilarating? jumping out of a plane not thrilling enough for you." he joked "yeah i remember my first run. its nerve racking. " max smiled he had an idea. "look they have a simulator for sky diving they let people try it out to get them hooked so they will pay for lesson you could always give it a try? Maybe we could find some thing that will hit the spot for you. I know what its like to be looking for that thrill and unable to find it."
It was good to talk about normal thing and not being judged by every one for being a traitor. People at the school hated him but he was happy he had Amara and he was studying again for the first time in a long time he could see a possible future. he was even tempted to have the test done to find out about his powers and learn more.

She laughed softly at his joke, corners of her mouth still twisted up, though did not react to it otherwise. That kind of thrill sounded like it would get old eventually, and a quick fix was not what she was after, especially not a quick fix that would dip into her pocket. Working as a waitress only got one so far—granted, she should probably be considering college, but her indecision about her career has stunted her want to even try. Everything she could think of sounded unfulfilling—she had been teased a few times, finding jobs that seemed relatively exciting, though she soon turned them down when she realized that either it was not all it was cracked up to be, or that the probability of her actually getting the job was so low she felt like it was a fruitless quest.
Charlotte perked up when the male mentioned a simulator, and from the sounds of it, it was free. How could the brunette possibly pass up an opportunity like that? It was at least something to do while she waited for her friend to go on, glancing at the watch on her wrist to check the time. She had a good forty-five minutes to kill, and she could only stand around for so long before she went completely stir crazy. Charlotte was not a patient person, a trait she had exhibited numerous times in her life, and was about to exhibit once again as she looked at the blonde male in front of her.
“That sounds like fun, I have plenty of time until my friend comes on anyway,” she grinned, though suddenly realized something—they had not been properly introduced. Delicately pulling a hand from her pocket, she outstretched it to him in the universal signal for a handshake. “I almost forgot, my names Charlotte by the way, it’s nice to meet you.”

" I am Max. its nice to meet you Charlotte. " he leader to the stall with a large fan. There was no one around apart from the man who was running it he nodded to max as if he knew him. Most people who sky dived always knew each other. "it looks like we are in luck no one is around. " he walked over and picked up a helmet. He threw it to the woman and then got one for him self.
It felt odd putting on one of these. He been shot in the head and nothing not even a dent in his hair line. It was not needed but the show was. At times he wished he could be like every one else not be hurt. He was like this for a reason cable had said there was nothing wrong and it was society fault he felt like a Alien. He had not been in the air for so long now he had missed it in a some way but he never got the thrill he needed any more. he had not jumped since his last date with Amara he needed some thing to drive him to that again.

She nodded her head slightly as he introduced himself—the name “Max” suited him somehow, and she vaguely wondered if it was short for anything, but obviously if it was, he did not feel like sharing that information, something the female did not particularly mind. Instead, she trailed behind him, her eyes briefly scanning the area around her as she did, gaze flittering over the different booths they had—some sold t-shirts, others were selling tickets, there were a few games, and even some raffles here and there to win different prizes.
Her focus zeroed in on the sky diving simulator, eyeing the fan, then the helmet that had been thrown at her, narrowly managing to catch it. Her mind wandering to how many people had already stuck them on their head, the sweat and grim…she quickly shrugged it off. If she thought to hard, she would never be able to put the damn thing on, though maybe they were selling helmets somewhere…
Before she could look like a chicken, she delicately lifted the helmet, trying not to look disgusted (oh, the germs), before plopping it on her head and fastening it up, glancing over to Max and noticing his troubled, glazed eyes. “Everything okay? You don’t have to do this if you don’t want, I can do it by myself—I’m a big girl,” she offered with a cheeky grin. If he did refuse, she would naturally poke fun at him, of course.

"Its been ages since i had to put one of these on." he started to put the helmet on and smiled it felt good. It was not needed. "when you jump on to the fan spread your arms and legs its strange at first. The fan will keep you in the air and the mess will stop you being hut by the fan. when your read just jump." Max leaped in to the air he tried to not to jump to high just encase he was unnaturally high. It felt strange having the wind on his face again.
after a few seconds he turned so his feet touched the ground and he jumped of the fan. "see its simple all you have to do is jump and relax." he smiled and pointed to the stairs. "your turn."

Brown eyes observed the male, watching as he jumped and floated in the air, more or less, anyway. She wondered just how akin to the actual thing it was, after all having a fan blow air at you and falling from thousands of feet in the air were two totally different occurrences, and she could not image it can one even the remotely same rush they would get from the real thing, but it looked like a safe alternative for those who were afraid of heights—not that she was among those individuals, she just was not horribly fond of them. After all, her powers would do nothing to save her as she plummets to her death.
When the blonde hopped back off and gestured for her to go, she wasted no time, stepping onto the platform, legs pushing off and sending her into the fans line of air, allow her legs and arms to spread out like he had said. She could hear the loud whirring of the fans engine, accompanied by sound of air rushing past her, lithe body easily staying afloat. She had to admit, it was fun, though it was more like the fun one had when getting on a ride in an amusement park.
After a minute or so, she managed to get off as well, standing on her own to feet again, offering Max a smile. “That wasn’t to bad,” she commented, already moving to take her helmet off. “Not sure it is for me, though. The idea of jumping out of a plane with a faulty parachute…” her voice trailed off.

max hart would of jumped if it was posibal but it could not it stayed at teh same pace as it did day in day out. all he could do was smile weakly at her. "yeah thats part of the thrill the rush of falling so fast knowing that there a chance for every thing going wrong." there was a time he would of spoken that with such passion and heat but now it was all gone were had it gone.
HE felt it with Amara some times but not all the time. People said it was depreshion but he felt it was a side efect of his powers. Cable had told him he knew max in his time. He was going to live at least to the year 4011 that was impressive but cable had not said anything else infarct he had been very quiet on it.
