Aiden wandered into a concert hall around seven o'clock wearing a Marilyn Manson t-shirt, and black jeans. His hair was dyed black and perfectly straighten. He tried to go to concert shows every single night, and during the day he practiced singing. Ever since he came to New York, Aiden didn't have much to do, and found himself wandering around or inside record stores. (He also scoped out Craigslist everyday looking for people needing a singer.)
He made it passed the security guard who were fairly handsy with him, and Aiden slid his hands into his jeans pocket. It was fairly nice to not be sensing fear in this building. Concert halls must be a sanctuary for muscians and music enthusiasts, just like game stores for gamers, or houses for shut ins.
Aiden had no idea who were playing this night, it was probably a local band opening for a slightly larger band. It would be nice for him to hear what New York musicians were like. He smiled walking around the groups of complete strangers as he was happy to be in his element once again.
His eyes shifted towards the merchandise tables filled with CDs, various t-shirts and hoodies from bands who he had no idea who they were.
The lights started to dim as the band members came onto stage and the crowd started to cheer. Aiden remainded in the middle of the crow. The urge to start up a band started to run through his body as the music began to start,

Riley had walked to the concert hall with her younger cousin Gina as her guide. Gina really wanted to see a band that was playing here tonight, and Riley just came along for the ride, so to speak. Riley had her sunglasses over her chocolate brown eyes and she kept them closed so that she could feel the vibrations in the floor to tell where people were. Riley was wearing a pair of black skinny jeans, a black, grey and purple plaided shirt with skulls on the back. She also had on a pair of purple converse shoes and a black ribbon in her hair. She wore a purple scarf around her neck along with a skull charm necklace. She held Gina’s arm, making it look like they were best friends, which the two were.
Riley had followed Gina inside, sliding through security, not having a problem. The two continued to walk, and Riley opened her eyes. She saw a lot of darkened blurs from her sunglasses and she shook her head. It was giving her a head ache. She closed her eyes and she continued to use the vibrations.
Riley stopped when she reached where they were supposed to be inside the hall. She felt someone next to her on her right and Gina was supposed to be on her left but the younger cousin had disappeared once again. That wasn’t all too uncommon for her.
Riley listened to the band playing and she took off her sunglasses then opened her eyes. She looked to whoever was next to her and asked “if you dont mind me asking, but who’s playing right now?”

Aiden half heartedly listened to the opening band as they did their best to open for the other bands. It was hard for opening bands to do so, and Aiden had all the experience in trying to opening up for much better bands. Aiden had issues admitting that there were other bands were better than he was.
His eyes lingered on the opening band and he studied their movements, he mostly watched their lead singer's movements and stage antics and tried to see what got the crowd cheering. He stretched his arms and turned over to the merch table to see the shirts.
Aiden saw a girl with skinny jeans, plaid shirt, and scarf, the girl also had sun glasses on. He thought it was interesting to see that someone was wearing sun glasses on. If someone was wearing sun glasses he assumed they were on drugs or blind, but Aiden wasn't one to judge. Aiden was the one who was the androngynous one with his long black hair and attitudes and was a mutant.
He saw the girl with the shades walking closer to him, and asked him about the band. Aiden found it interesting that the girl was talking to him. He smiled looking at her, flipping his hair to the side, "Oh I think it's "The Morning After" or something like that. I'm Aiden by the way, and you?"

Riley looked at the blurs next to her on the right. she nodded and smiled when he said the band name or when he said what he thought was the band’s name. Riley looked to her left and she knew that her cousin still wasn’t there. ugh, Riley knew this would happen. well at least she would still enjoy the show, maybe. “they’re pretty good.” Riley commented.
“I’m Riley.” Riley stated. “its nice to meet you Aiden.” she smiled to him. she continued to listen to the band play and soon enough her cousin had returned to her side. Riley looked to the blurred stage and she just enjoyed what she heard. she turned back to Aiden and she then asked him “so what kind of music do you listen to the most?” Riley was just trying to keep the conversation since Gina was too busy talking to other people and she didn’t want to feel like she was ditching him or something.
“so you here by yourself?” Riley asked with a smile. she didn’t want to feel like she was pestering him in any way. she let out a sigh and she then said “sorry for all the questions, or just talking to you in general if you don’t want to talk.” Riley shrugged. she was fine with it either way.

[color=008FBFAiden smiled seeing that the girl was still continuing on with the conversation. He nodded being honest, "They're alright for an opener band."
He nodded hearing her introduce herself, "Pleasure's all mine Riley. I listen and perfrom hardcore music. I also like industrial, screamo, gothic, metal, rock, finnish folk, electronica, and emo, Pratically anything that catches my ears, you know? I can't listen to like five bands that all sound the same, they have to stand out from each other. How about yourself Riley, what do you like?" He asked. He would list off bands, but they would be here for a couple hours, or he would bore her with his numerous bands.
Aiden nodded, "Sadly I am. I haven't made myself any friends since I've moved here. I was glad to find myself some concert halls. I'm trying to start up another band. They constantly fall through. Its really sad, I wanna get signed onto a record label, buts its hard because of my condition."
Aiden wasn't afraid of saying he was a mutant. He would continue with saying he was a mutant if she asked what his condition was.
A problem? Oh no. Aiden wanted to have a friend. "Oh no Riley, I'm glad to have someone to talk to. Maybe after the concert we can get something to eat. If not and you're with someone we can exchange phone numbers and hang out sometime."
He broke eye contact with the girl to look around some, Aiden was hoping that something wasn't going to happen to ruin this night. But its the city and people had a knack for causing trouble.

Riley listened to him talk about what music he liked to listen too. Wow, they had completely different taste in music. She was more of the calm music, music she could play on the piano or something like that. “I hope you don’t laugh, but I love The Beatles, classical music and country, but I also listen to Aerosmith, All American Rejects and Paramore, so I guess that would be alternative rock perhaps?” Riley shrugged. She looked at Aiden. She looked back to the blurred stage and tried to figure out what was going on. They were probably switching bands. This was difficult with out Gina.
Riley smiled. “where did you move from?” Riley asked him curiously. She wondered if it could have been from somewhere that she had never been before. That was probably likely. Her and her cousins usually travel to Romania. “I sing at a local bar that my friend owns. It's an alright part time job, like hobby I guess.” she merely shrugged. She enjoyed it a lot however. She probably would fit into a band though. “What condition?” Riley asked confused. He seemed perfectly normal to the brunette, but she appeared that way too.
“that sounds like fun. I’m just here with my cousin but I think I may be the one who gets ditched.” Riley shrugged, chuckling. She then said “a bite to eat sounds nice.” Riley then wondered how old he was.

Aiden nodded, "I remember those bands. My uncle took care of me most of my childhood since my parents were business oriented, he played a lot of early rock music for me while he was still alive."
The bands she named off were alternative enough for him and nodded along. He had heard of those bands and liked some of them, but wasn't into the soft sounding music. Aiden liked the harsh instruments and dark lyrics.
Aiden rubbed his head, "Portland, Oregon. You know of there? Home of weird people." He laughed turning his attention back to the band who were packing up their instruments and the next band was coming back on stage.
He smiled, "Really? That's awesome. I'm totally jealous of you Riley. I can't wait to sing in front of an audiance.
Riley had asked about his condition and he shifted his gaze and brushed his bangs away from his eyes. "Well, I'm not exactly human, persay. Fear is my drug. I control, sense, and benefit from it. If someone is afraid I'm more powerful. Fear is not only a drug, but a weapon." He looked back over to her, "And I can move objects with my mind too. But its not nearly as strong as my other ability"
Aiden sighed a bit, "I'm not ashamed of who I am. I was born this way and love being this way, well, kinda love it. It's hard to make friends when your body gets jacked up on fear."
Aiden laughed, "Ah, that sucks, no one likes to be ditched." He had some stories of being ditched himself.
He felt a little hungry himself, and the music wasn't really catching his ears. "Well anywhere that doesn't have a bar sounds good to me. I'm only nineteen. More towards twenty nineteen. Not new nineteen." He laughed a bit.
