When it comes to the people and places of the DC Universe, history has always been a rather fluid thing; decade to decade, even year to year, the most up to date account seems to change in more than just growing larger. Reboots, retcons, rebirths and resurrections; at this point, virtually every character has killed, died, come back to life, been cloned, earned a sidekick, fallen in love, had that love tragically murdered, destroyed a city, destroyed a planet, saved a planet, met an alternate version, joined forces with another franchise... hundreds upon hundreds of issues worth of storylines, relationships, and battles. An epic tapestry, certainly, but sometimes it can be a little hard to keep track of something as simple as who knows who's secret identity.
So... how about we start from scratch?
In DC New Beginnings, the canon heroes and villains don't exist until you start playing them; each encounter is new, every face unfamiliar.
There is no Bat Family, no Justice League, no Teen Titans, no Watchtower.
