Everything would shine wherever she would go, But looking at her now you‘d never tell.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ It was Sabrina’s first day as a doctor for Xavier’s School. She was of course suppose to be undercover, but her mission went against everything she stood for. She took it upon herself to protect innocent mutants from the cruel hands of her employers. So she needs to do this carefully and safely for all their sakes. She suppose that if it were not for the other experiments and projects currently being held at Weapon X, she would have run and seek safety somewhere else. So she had to grit her teeth and do this, for she sake of the innocent mutants being held by her employer.
She approached the door to the mansion, her hand griping her medical bag that she was told to bring with her. As she got closer she began to hear whispers about something that had happened to the head of the school, and she burrowed her brow in worry. She liked the older man from their one time meeting that allowed her to be employed at his school. So she of course had made it her priority to help protect the unique population of this school she is suppose to report on. She was to take pictures, names, and powers and send them to her superiors. Her plan? Report back false information.
Sabrina opened and entered the doors to look at a beautifully laid out decorative foyer. It took her breath away, and it was better than any room at the Weapon X facility that she lives and works at. Well not at that time obviously, but that wasn’t the point. Perhaps if she ever had the absolute need to go on the run and hide, she would choose this place to lay low. It seemed safe and secure, but then she knew at least one operative was able to gain access besides herself. He is currently undercover within the Brotherhood, who has made this place their current base. Then there was Ace, who god only knows where at the moment. So she was currently on her own, and she stopped just inside the door. The atmosphere was a bit dark and dreary, and she suddenly knew it had to do with Charles’ current condition. She was told that someone would meet her at the door and take her to her workspace. She wondered where this person was…

Rogue, fortunately, with Xavier's psyche in her mind had managed to get into his private files for the school. Rogue normally wouldn't have done this, but she had to know everything that was to do with the school if she was going to run it. She found a file on Sabrina Pierce, noticing she was supposed to come today and of course everything Xavier had picked out of her mind. If Xavier trusted her despite her connections then Rogue would to. Besides, with that Robert around, Rogue felt she could use all the allies possible. He really creeped her out, although for some reason she had a sense of trust in him - that couldn't be natural. Shaking her head out of her own thoughts she closed up the files she had open on the computer and then shut it down. Getting up she tidied up Xavier's office a bit before heading towards the kitchen. It was about lunch time, and Rogue could definately do with eating something.
Upon entering the kitchen Rogue got herself a piece of cheese and bacon quiche, stuck it into the microwave, and then grabbed some salad from the fridge. She arranged the salad on the plate and squirted some low fat salad cream on it. Soon enough the microwave beeped, and so Rogue stuck the quiche onto her plate. Grabbing a knife and fork she sat at the kitchen island as she dug into her lunch. Just as she was finishing she heard the doorbell. Putting her plate and cutlery into the dishwasher, Rogue then padded to the front door. Opening it she smiled brightly at Sabrina. She was definately a beautiful looking person. It was nice to have someone else who wanted to protect innocent people - mutants and humans alike. She opened the door widely and gestured for Sabrina to come in. Rogue hoped, maybe, she could get some information about the Weapon X program, and who was still a part of it. She had been wanting to find X ( who was actually Ace ) and to try to get the information out of him in any way necessary. However, if there was someone willing to give it then it would be a whole lot easier.
"Hello, you must be Sabrina. Welcome to Xavier's. Ahm running the place for now until Xavier is up to it again. Ahm Rogue. Shall ah show you to the medical lab so ya can get settled?"

Everything would shine wherever she would go, But looking at her now you‘d never tell.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Sabrina stood in the middle of the foyer and watched as the young woman approached her. She had no idea, but she took special notice of her. She smiled warmly at her as she got closer, she had no intentions of making enemies here. That would not be wise on her part in case she needed to run and hide for some unseen reason. She had to be smart about this, and she was of course very lucky that her employer didn’t wise up to what she was doing right under their nose the entire time she was working for them. This was perhaps the only indication that they had suspected anything on her part. She had done something slopy and bad. She had messed up and now they wanted to test her. She had to appear to pass this test, and still keep these people safe from their grip. This was going to be a bit hard especially when Adam was also undercover here as well.
"Hello, you must be Sabrina. Welcome to Xavier's. Ahm running the place for now until Xavier is up to it again. Ahm Rogue. Shall ah show you to the medical lab so ya can get settled?"
She smiled warmly at her again and nodded her head in answer to her questions. She prepared to follow the young girl, and bit her bottom lip as she began to hear whispers about what happened to Mr. Xavier. ”I can take a look over the professor if you like. See if there is anything I can do and help.” She offered, knowing that she could always do something to help. Faith was her greatest achievement yet, and that was no walk in the park for a well known geneticist and mutation specialists. The DNA sample that they had for Wolverine was so damaged, that before Faith they had repeatedly failed to produce someone with his power set. Until they had gotten their greedy claws into Sabrina, she quickly suggested that instead of trying to put his mutations into someone or create more clones, that they should just give him a child. She would make sure that the offspring would have his powers and she would also be able to add in anything else they wanted.
That was when she then became very valuable to them, and soon after Faith was born she found out what they wanted to do with the baby girl…

Rogue showed the woman down to the medical bay and listened to Sabrina's offer. As much as Rogue wished the woman could help she doubted anyone could get anyone else out of a coma. She found her gaze resting on Xavier. Without a second thought she walked over to him and brushed her gloved fingertips over his cheek. She missed him already. He didn't deserve what had happened to him. If only he wasn't in a coma. If only he hadn't gone into one. The only thing that was worse was that it seemed Xavier may be in a wheelchair again when he woke up. She sighed deeply as she watched him. He still hadn't moved. Not one inch. His heartbeat was still steady she noticed as the beeping of the machine was steady. He was till breathing since his chest was rising and falling. Rogue supposed though if anyone deserved a break and rest it was Xavier. She just wished it had been under natural sleeping circumstances then getting hurt. He didn't deserve any of this.
"If there was something to get him out of this coma Hank would have done it by now, but thanks anyway."
Rogue spoke softly before turning to look directly at Sabrina. She had a few questions, although granted, it wasn't quite about X right now or Adam. Well a bit about Adam. Rogue had this off feeling that somehow Adam's bosses had gotten a hold of her dna and used that to put her ability into Adam. After all, how else could he get that ability? She already knew he didn't have it naturally, and she knew no one else who had it naturally. She also didn't know anyone else who had it unnaturally. Rogue could only think somehow someone had gotten her dna, used it to put her ability in Adam, and now... Well he was up to no good. She just didn't know what yet or who his bosses were. She also had another question. A question that had been burning in the back of her mind for a while now. Especially after meeting Faith. She just had to know. She couldn't not know any more.
"Ah have a few questions... If ya don't mind. First, is there any way to find out who my biological parents are, and second... If someone were to have, say, my dna, would it be possible to use it to put my ability into someone else?"
Rogue trusted this woman. She didn't get bad vibes from her. Not like Charles Knox.

Everything would shine wherever she would go, But looking at her now you‘d never tell.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Sabrina followed Rogue down to the medical bay, and watched as the younger female gently caressed Charles’ cheek with her gloved fingertips. It seemed to be a slight sad scene before her. She quickly looked around the room, and sat her bag down on what appeared to be a desk. From the monitors, it seemed that Xavier was breathing and alive, but it clearly was seen that the older man was indeed in a coma. He was prone and attached to the medical monitors, and she smiled sadly at the young female in the room. She quietly approached the girl, and rested her hand on the young mutant’s shoulder only to give it a gentle reassuring squeeze. Then the girl turned and looked at her.
"If there was something to get him out of this coma Hank would have done it by now, but thanks anyway. Ah have a few questions... If ya don't mind. First, is there any way to find out who my biological parents are, and second... If someone were to have, say, my dna, would it be possible to use it to put my ability into someone else?"
She couldn’t help the small, warming smile that graced her lips. ”Rogue, Hank doesn’t know what I know. But I will keep my eye on him and take care of him, don’t worry. It seems that he is fine, just needs a mental rest is all. I don’t know what happened, but I would like to find out. As for your question, it is very possible if the person doing the procedure knows what they are doing. And if you wish, I can help you find out who your biological folks are. But I will need some information about yourself first.” She responded to the girl softly in such a way that the young mutant would know that she was very truthful, and that she was also serious in answering her questions. She didn’t know what it was like to not know her biological parents, but she knew what it was like to loose them.

"Um, ahm nineteen. Ah've kinda noticed ahm drawn to feral mutants, or they're drawn to me. Its kinda wierd, and ah know ah should be scared of 'em but ahm not. Ah kinda feel... at home with them. Its wierd. Meh parents would have to be mutants ah guess since ahm one. Ah dunno what else ya would wanna know... If ya wanna ask me questions though then ah'll answer to the best of meh ability."
Rogue responded softly, not entirely sure what else to say. She doubted her ability had much bearing on who was her biological parents. For a little bit, after getting over her crush on Logan, she had wondered if he was her father but for some reason when she had thought that instinct told her he wasn't. The same instinct had made her think he was important in some regard though beyond being a father figure. She looked from Sabrina to Charles, hoping against hope he would come out of his coma really soon. She missed him so much, and she knew everyone else did too. She just hoped everyone was okay with the job she was doing so far. She did not want to gain any enemies. She was doing her best.
Rogue was hesitant to tell Sabrina what had happened. After all, if what happened what she thought happened it was all her fault. If she had just told people about X then they would have been aware. They would have been ready to protect themselves. Charles may not be in a coma or hurt if she had just told people about him other then Logan, and then forced Logan into secrecy. It was all her fault and the guilt was consuming. She sighed deeply as a tear rolled down her cheek.
"He was attacked, late at night. No one heard it. He was found afterwards, unconcious. We managed to heal him but he's been in the coma ever since."
She spoke, giving the bare minimum. She just didn't know what to do right now. She wanted revenge, that was for sure, but she didn't want anyone else to know her shame. It was bad enough Logan knew. He probably hated her right now since she hadn't told anyone about X but him and had made him keep quiet about it. This was all her fault and Rogue would never forgive herself.

Everything would shine wherever she would go, But looking at her now you‘d never tell.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Sabrina was already thinking of ways to help the girl before her. She could check the national adoption registry, or if the records are sealed she could always just force her way in. But with her intelligence, who would be foolish enough to stop her much less know she is doing it? But then there was a problem of that she couldn’t have been adopted through the right channels. That would have caused a bit more work on her part, not that it wasn’t impossible, just very difficult. She hoped that her first option would give her a lead, for if not then this girl’s search could go on for quite a while.
The dark hair woman looked at the girl and gave her a warm smile. ”It is a start. A lot of good useful information there. As for your parents being mutants, at least your father has to carry the mutation. That was how a mutant I helped came to be…” It was true, as she had ensured that Faith would have the original Weapon X’s power set. It was only because of her father that had the mutation, and her mother was of course normal. ”It would also help if I knew your birthday and birthplace. That is if you know where you were born.” She said, and then with that information, she should be able to come up with something for the girl.
"He was attacked, late at night. No one heard it. He was found afterwards, unconcious. We managed to heal him but he's been in the coma ever since."
Sabrina listened to the redhead with the white streak talk about what had happened. She carefully peeled back his bandages and examined his wounds. She knew the wounds, as she had seen plenty of them in her labs back at Weapon X. Only two people came to mind, and judging by the wounds, it had to be only one person with that much skill and rage could do such a thing. She knew the man, and she wanted to talk to him about why he did that to Xavier, but he was incommunicado at the moment and she didn’t want him to know that she could easily tell that he was the one who had attacked this nice man. ”He will have scars, and I think I may have something of a lead. But I want to check it out first. It might be nothing, and I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up only to have them crashing down.” She responded with a smile. Her plan? To see if she can get in contact with Ace of course and find out why he is attacking others at this place.
