Max couldn't take it. She had to be in his room. She had to be with him. They had tried to put her in her own room but she didn't want it. She wouldn't let them take his shirt off her either, or put anything else on. She didn't want any things. They had tried to give her something called a bra, and toiletries. Max may remember her past human life, but she didn't understand any part of human life. Not any more. All she knew was how to talk, and of course Aj was the center of her world. In Max's opinion she didn't need to know anything else. As soon as they left her alone Max padded out onto the corridor. She moved silently as she followed Aj's scent. It didn't take long to find a rom where his scent was the strongest. It was comforting. Inhaling deeply she rested her forehead against the door briefly to just calm herself. Aj. She opened the door without hesitation, closing it behind her before looking around the room.
A smile fell upon her face as she saw him laid in bed. He appeared to be asleep. He looked so perfect. Without hesitation she walked over to his bed before climbing onto it. She crawled up towards the headboard, before laying down. She curled up against him, taking his arms and wrapping them around her body, before burying her face into his chest whilst the top of her head brushed against the underneath of his jaw. Yes, this was where she belonged. Where she was safe. Max didn't care she was naked beside his shirt he had given to her at the lake, nor had she taken any of her needs ( such as eating, bathing, etc ). All she cared about right then was that she finally felt safe and comfortable. No one was going to take her away. Max refused. She was going to stay with Aj. Maybe even when he didn't want her around any more.
"My mate."
Max sighed softly, her eyes fluttering closed. He may not know it, but she thought of him as her mate. Even if he hadn't tried to claim her yet. She didn't mind. She had already decided she had claimed him. Not that he knew that either - probably.

AJ wasn’t even tired, they had told him that he couldn’t have Max in his room which was something that worried him because of the fact that she was nervous enough as it was and she was likely to be scared with the abilities of changing into a tiger, he was sure that she wasn’t injured anymore as they would have likely cleaned her hand up for her but he got the feeling that she wouldn’t like the idea of being separated from him in the slightest and that it wouldn’t end well either. When AJ heard footsteps along the hallway he knew that it was Max long before the door had opened, he just knew that she wouldn’t have been able to stay away from him.
That had been why he had used the long energy reserves in his DNA to make certain that he would be able to stay awake if she needed him to be so, he knew that it wasn’t the safest idea because of the fact that his power was pretty unstable at the best of time but that wasn’t something that was bothering him right now, the most important thing was that he was able to help her if she needed him to do anything for her. As the door opened the closed his eyes just in case it wasn’t Max but he cracked an eye open as he saw her get close to the bed and slip into bed with him.
As she nuzzled up to him and placed her soft body close to him, her head pressing against his chest and as she wrapped his arms around her AJ couldn’t help but gain a soft smile on his lips as he got the feeling that the feeling of normality and relaxed peace that he was feeling right now was something that Max was feeling right now also. He opened his eyes when she called him her mate only because of the fact that it had surprised him, he had no problem with being her mate he just thought that it would take longer for her to think so.
Leaning in he kissed her neck softly “not that I am complaining but why are you here?” he asked “couldn’t sleep?”

Max purred deep within her chest as she felt Aj's lips kiss her neck. She really liked it when he touched her. Somewhere in the back of her mind she had the feeling she should be surprised he was awake and embarassed he had heard her. However, Max, after what she had been through, was not in touch with the girl she used to be really, so she didn't feel either. She rubbed the side of her face against him, still continuing to purr, before raising her head a little to lick repeatedly his cheek. They were small affectionate strokes, like cats do. Max wanted to rub her scent all over her mate so no other female would touch him. Her animal instincts told her she had to claim him, and she had to make sure everyone knew he was hers asap. She didn't even stop to think about asking him, although there was a quiet nagging feeling of fear that he would end up rejecting her if she did infact ask him.
"I belong in the den of my mate."
Max responded, glancing around the dark room briefly. The one thing she hated about being in this form was that although all her senses were heightened, her eye sight in the dark wasn't quite as sharp as that of the tiger's. She did notice the room appeared tidy, looked human, and definately empty of any female or her belongings. Good. Max thought. She would have no threat to eliminate. Of course she wouldn't hesitate to eliminate any threats. Animals killed threats and did not feel remorse for it. However, her human concious would not let her kill. Still, Max wouldn't take anything laying down - well unless Aj wanted her to lay down, of course. She gave Aj's cheek one last lick before gently running her teeth down the wet patch she had created on his cheek. Max then pulled her head away completely to look up at him with a content smile, before burying her face into his chest again. This is where I belong. I'll take care of my other needs later. Max told herself in thought.

As Max was snuggled up to him AJ had to admit that he it was very hard for him not to act on the fact that he had a beautiful young woman pressed up against him. He knew that he would have to restrain himself after everything that she had been through though as he didn’t want harm to come to her even if it had been him that had caused such harm to her that didn’t mean that he would like it. The fact that part of him told him to roll her onto her back and just give in to the lust that he had for her right now was something that bothered him as even though he felt that way at the same time she was an innocent young woman and probably didn’t realise what her actions had been doing to him right now.
When she had began licking her cheek he couldn’t help but let out a low moan but at the same time he tried his best not to allow his emotions get the best of him but at the same time it was something that he was finding hard to do because of the fact that she was extremely beautiful rolling her onto her back he pulled her up to his side.
“Not that I mind but you might have to keep your hands to yourself,” good looking.”

Max found herself pouting a little as Aj rolled her onto her back. She liked being pressed up against him. She didn't understand what she had done wrong. Did he not like being licked? Had grazing her teeth against his cheek put him off? Why did he want her to keep her hands to herself? She really did not understand what had gone wrong. A bright idea then came to her head as she felt Aj's arms press her into his side. Max waited until Aj was laid on his side, before she turned over so she was laid on her side too, and then pressed her back against his chest. She rubbed the back of her body against his front, her head thrown back so that the side of it pressed against the side of his head. This felt right. Everything felt right when she was pressed up against Aj. She definately felt like it was home. She sighed happily, letting herself get lost in the moment. She hoped one day soon he'd bite her - not in a seriously wounded way - to mark her, so she could do the same to him. Then it would be clear they were claimed by each other.
"Mmm..."

As Max pressed against AJ he was glad that he had been able to draw upon the extra energy because of the fact that he got the feeling that he wouldn’t get to sleep because of what she was doing, not many guys would have been able to lie with her and then not do anything with her but at the same time it was something that he was going to have to deal with if he had Max in his bed but at the same time that didn’t mean that it was going to be easy it just meant that he would have to get over it pretty fast.
“Unless you want me to do something that you might not be ready for,” he said before pecking her lips “you should really be careful where you position yourself.”

Max turned her head to look at Aj as he began to speak, smiling a little as his lips touched hers. She could remember well enough from her tiger days she had seen humans do it as a sign of affection. Plus, his words did help let Max know he wanted to claim her as much as she wanted to claim him. She couldn't help but pout a little since he wanted her to stop rubbing up against him. She rather liked doing it, but she supposed even though this was his den, it may not be the best place to passionately claim each other. Max knew she could never be quiet, and with so many other two leggeds around, she had a feeling they would not appreciate her passionate vocals. Especially since it would be her first time ( she had experienced many fustrating moments during the times she was in heat ). Max turned over and rested her head on Aj's chest as she curled up beside him.
"Fine, but we need an isolated den at some point."

AJ chuckled at her words as he couldn’t help it, he hadn’t been thinking of the fact that there had been more people along the corridor from him an Max but it was more the fact that he would hate to see himself as taking advantage of her and he would never do that to her. Simply because of the fact that he did truly care about Max but at the same time there was only so much that a young man could take before his body reacted in a way that he didn’t want it to, even if he did want to do what he couldn’t right now.
“I couldn’t agree more” he said.

It wasn't long before Max fell asleep. It had been a while since she had slept, and especially with someone beside her. She slept peacefully for the first time in a while for the whole night. She only began to stir when it was about ten o'clock, which was a long lay in for Max. Yawning, she stretched her body in a very feline-like fashion before opening up her emerald green eyes. She blinked a few times before looking up at Aj. He was so beautiful. A soft purr resonated in her chest as she rubbed her head against his jaw, neck, and chest. She really liked being wrapped up in his arms. Unfortunately with the sound of others up and doing things ruined the moment. It was then Max missed the peace and quiet of the forest. She knew she couldn't go back there now. Not if she wanted to stay with Aj, which she did. She glanced up over at the window as she saw sunlight creeping through the gaps in his curtains.

AJ fell asleep not long after Max as he had her pressed against him and her breathing as she slept was so rhythmic and calming to him that it caused him to fall asleep also. When he woke up the next morning he had something warm and soft pressing against him and purring. Looking down he saw Max pressed against him again and he got the feeling that he would get use to it but at the same time that it wasn’t going to change any time soon. Leaning in he kissed on her neck softly making her aware of the fact that he was awake.
“Morning beautiful,” he said.

A soft mean left Max's lips as she felt Aj kiss her neck. Looking over at him she couldn't help but grin. She rather liked falling asleep and waking up to him. The lay in was short lived as she heard and felt her stomach growl. She glanced down at her stomach before straddling Aj. Her mate. He hadn't even said he wasn't her mate when she said it. He had agreed without even really saying anything. That definately made Max happy. Resting her hands on his chest she watched him with a soft smile.
"I'm hungry. Lets go hunt."
She suggested, excited to start her first day with Aj. Hopefully her life would be like this every day.
"I like it when you use her powers. Its like your Zeus."

AJ sighed when Max straddled him, it was not fair to either of them that she was so primal because of her powers, he got the feeling that most of the time she wouldn’t do something like this but at the same time it wasn’t fair to him in that normally he would have wanted to act on such actions but because he didn’t want to pressurize her into anything that she didn’t want to do then he wouldn’t do so. When she commented on his powers he let a small charge flow through his finger as he went along her arm giving her a tiny static shock.
“Let’s go get you some food then beautiful, or..” he said before sitting up and kissing her on the lips.

Max moaned softly when she felt the static shock on her arm he had given her. She really did like his powers. They were so amazing. She could really see him in a small toga with his bulging muscles showing and throwing lightning bolts around. Definately Zeus. Sexy Zeus. Her thoughts were cut off as she felt his lips against hers. On instinct Max kissed him back passionately, cupping one cheek in her hand whilst her other hand ran its fingernails down his bare arm. She really could not get enough of this man. Ending the kiss, Max then ran her tongue over Aj's lips before getting off the bed. Stretching, causing Aj's shirt to ride up a bit on her she then padded over to the door. Max paused, before looking over her shoulder seductively at Aj.
"Come on Zeus. I wanna see you hunt."

AJ couldn’t help but moan against the kiss as Max kissed back passionately there was no denying that even though there was no way that he was going to push her into anything if he let her go at her pace it could be argued that she would do what she wanted regardless of what he had wanted. As she got up he sat up and followed her. Going to his wardrobe he pulled out a pair of jeans for her, he doubted that they would fit her well but she seemed to only want to wear his clothes so if it worked then it would be a good thing.
“You might want to put pants on.” He said handing them to her

Max frowned as she caught the jeans. They looked so constrictive. She was supposed to wear them? She was already doing the humans a favour by wearing this shirt. She would be quite happy walking around naked. The jeans didn't look comfortable either. Max put the jeans onto the bed before walking back to where she had been stood by the door. She really did not fancy wearing them. Infact, a mischevious thought came to mind. She wondered how everyone would react to a large tiger wandering around the mansion. It would be fun to give them all a good scare, and it would be a better form to intimidate and scare off any females that tried to get near her mate. With her plan of action decided she pulled off Aj's shirt and tossed it onto the bed before closing her emerald green eyes. Within moments her body was changing shape, bones breaking and reshaping as fur poured out of her pores, until eventually, a bengal orange and black adult tiger stood in Aj's room. A smug look was in her eyes as she looked at Aj. This was going to be fun.
