The air around her was particularly cold today. She had woken up on the wrong side of the bed and everyone was going to pay for it. The people around her went out of their way to stay out of her path. She wasn't walking fast but she held a presence that chilled to the bone. God, what she wouldn't give to be like everyone else again. To feel normal and not some freak show. Her parents were understanding but she knew that they loved Hayley more. Who wouldn't, her twin had the ability to give life while Sophie was cursed with taking it away. She didn't want to play God.
She breathed in slowly and let it out even slower. Today didn't seem go very well at all. Why were the Brotherhood here in the first place it felt odd and out of place in the mansion. She got lost worse here than she did at Magneto's mansion. Sophie walked the halls not really knowing where she was going, lost amongst a sea of mutants who appeared to glare at her. Maybe she was just being paranoid.
