Weekends were always quiet affairs. School wasn't in session, and unless there was a mission to complete everyone usually had the time to themselves. Today Rogue had booked a session in the danger room for herself at twelve o'clock. It was Saturday morning, and Rogue had slept in. If there was one thing she loved the most that was normal then it was waking up after sleeping in to the sunlight pouring through her window. It was always so peaceful and definately gave the day the best start possible. Letting out a deep yawn she slowly stretched out every one of her muscles before gradually sitting up. The duvet dropped to her lap as she sat up. Running a hand through her flame red hair, Rogue flung her legs over the edge of the bed and stood up. She padded softly into her en-suite where she stripped off, grabbed a fluffy white towel, and placed it beside the shower before turning said shower on. Since it was ten o'clock Rogue took a lazy shower before drying herself off. With the towel wrapped around her she padded back into her room and over to her wardrobe. In the end Rogue put on her bra, panties, a pair of black jogging bottoms, a white long sleeved t-shirt, socks, white trainers, and a pair of elbow length black gloves. She ran a brush through her hair before putting her crimson hair up in a plait using a black band. Due to the length of her hair it went down to her waist line. She quickly brushed her teeth before padding out of her room.
Rogue moved silently to the elevator, stepping inside and pressing the button for the basement level. It seemed odd for the mansion to be so quiet but she didn't think anything of it. It seemed like a hot day so most were probably out at the beach, shopping, or out on the grounds. As much as she wanted to be normal she knew she couldn't. Even with mutants she didn't feel like she fit in. With her poison skin it was hard to have a social life. No one even realised how much touching was a part of life. It really was like the phrase 'you don't know what you have until its gone', and 'the small things are taken for granted. It seemed to Rogue she may never be able to touch for the rest of her life thanks to her ability. She hadn't been able to get any control thus far. Upon hearing the mechanical voice say she was on the basement level, Rogue snapped out of her thoughts and walked down the lengthy corridor. She often thought this level looked like something out of star trek.
She slipped into the changing room, finding her Xmen catsuit - well she called it that anyway, how could anyone feel casual in such a tight outfit? - and taking it out. She quickly changed into it, leaving her gloves on. Rogue really didn't feel comfortable in such a skin tight outfit, but apparently it was good for flexibility. Maybe she could suggest masks one day so when she wore it no one would know it was her? Biting her bottom lip she left the changing room and walked into the danger room. The outfit definately highlighted her classic hourglass curves. Not that Rogue had ever noticed it. She stepped to the center of the room before coming to a halt.
"Computer, simulation urban two. Begin."
Rogue spoke, and watched as the steel grey room changed into an apocolypse urban scene. Buildings were reduced to ruin, burn marks everywhere, and well, it looked abandoned due to whatever destruction this apocolypse had unleashed. Rogue always felt it was the best simulation to train. Not only was there a lot of rubble and differant angles for her to work with so she would get used to uneven surfaces, but it could easily work for team and solo scenarios. Tuning into her senses it wasn't long before she heard her opponent. She spun round in a one hundred and eighty angle to come face to face with the one and only Sabertooth. Apart from Magneto, this was the one 'villian' that scared her the most. Flexing her muscles, Rogue felt the desire to defeat the feral mutant burn through her veins.
"You're going down."

Bobby woke up, it was late, he had planned to get up early and go for a long swim, well that wasn't going to happen, which meant Bobby would have to supercharge his exercise, and there was only one place he could practice with his powers, and get a physical workout at once, and that was the Danger Room. Bobby put on his black sweats and a blue tee. Bobby slipped on his socks and his sneakers. As Bobby went to turn off his light his hand brushed against the scorch marks John had made, to think that confrontation was only a day in the past, all Bobby could say was, that was interesting.
Bobby slipped on his X-Suit, and headed towards the Danger Room. The lights around the door stated that the room was in use, but Bobby didn't care. Bobby was sure whoever was using it wouldn't mind sharing, it was quite a big space, and most people wouldn't mind, hopefully Logan wasn't in there, because Logan would mind. The warning light flashed green, signaling it was now safe to enter.
Bobby slipped into the Danger Room, which was in full urban apocalypse mode, but bobby didn't see any signs of life, or even any immediate threats. Bobby dodged a falling scaffold, and froze the chunk of the building that followed the scaffold. Who was in here? Bobby's question was soon answered, Rogue was fighting Sabertooth, great Rogue was here. Bobby didn't know what to do, part of him felt like running, part of him wanted to stay and help Rogue, Bobby and her had some history, and they hadn't really talked much since before Alcatraz Bobby wasn't sure where they stood. As Bobby headed back to the Exit, he noticed that the warning light now flashed red, he couldn't leave.
Bobby heard a the noise of a propeller behind him, Bobby turned, there was his danger, behind Bobby was an Army Helicopter. Bobby dodged a rocket, and froze the copter's propeller, down went the copter, Bobby had backed up in the process, and now he was only a few feet from being back to back with Rogue.

Sometimes life offered funny coincidences. All he had planned to do, was checking out the basement of the X-Men. You know, do a little sneaking around, see what new toys they had acquired, see what the Brotherhood might face in the future when they were opponents again. To do that, he had waited for the weekend, knowing that not much activity would be going on down there, and he got up extra early for it.
So he had snooped around some rooms, noticed with regret that not all doors opened to him and just wanted to turn a corner, when he saw... the one and only Iceman! In full X-Men-leather. John took a step backwards and peeked around the corner, trying to watch what Bobby was up to. And saw him stop in front of the Danger Room. There was brief hesitation, then he walked in.
A cunning little smile flashed over Pyro's face. Was there a better place for a rematch? Quickly he walked to the entrance and slipped in as well, merely seconds after Bobby, only to find himself in some apocalyptic city setting. The Iceman was staring at something, and he used the opportunity to quietly hide himself behind an overturned truck, observing what was happening. Then he discovered Rogue. Oh, this got better and better! The Iceboy hadn't come here to fight, he had come here to see his former girlfriend. Pyro kept himself hidden in the shadows, prepared to enjoy the show.

[ ooc notes: I was waiting for kitty to reply but since she hasn't, I'll go ahead and reply. ]
Rogue watched as Sabertooth launched himself at her. She felt her back slam against the ground with a thud as his hands slammed against her. Within seconds she kicked out at the feral's chest flipping him over her head to land on the ground behind her with a thud. Rogue shot up to her feet, spinning around she turned to face Sabertooth only to see Bobby. She looked at him in shock. How on earth did he get in?!
"Bobby! What on earth are ya doing here?!"
How could he even get in? She had really wanted to let loose some fustration out in this simulation. How could she do that now with Bobby here? Shaking her head she forced herself to focus on Sabertooth. Now wasn't the best time to have a drawn out conversation with privacy in solo danger room sessions. She got this feeling she was being watched also, but unable to see anyone else she shrugged that thought off. She guessed it could be one of the simulated enemies in the simulation that could be watching her. Probably Sabertooth. Inhaling a deep breath Rogue took off at a run towards Sabertooth as he ran at her. As she got close enough she skidded to a halt and performed a perfect roundhouse kick sending Sabertooth crashing through several brick walls. Then again with his weight it wasn't surprising. Rogue stood there waiting for Sabertooth to come out, and she knew he would come out.

Bobby deflected the shards of a falling building from him and Rogue, "I'm here to save you, but really I'm here cause I needed some practice, ad the warning light was off, so I was surprised to find the room set up." It wasn't really the truth, but it was better than saying I entered someone else's session because I wanted to, and I stayed cause it was you.
A flash a movement caught Bobby's eye, at first he thought it was sabertooth, but then he saw it again, what was he doing here? It was John Bobby was sure of it, he must be a hologram created for Bobby to fight. Bobby covered his right hand in ice, not organic ice just ice, and the formed that ice into a sharp blade. "Hey asshole why don't you come and fight me?" While Bobby was calling out to John he created a wall of ice and began to concentrate, just like he practiced, hopefully if he could stall John long enough to go full organic Ice.

So, this was interesting. Not only wasn't Rogue particularly thrilled by Bobby's presence, she also pretty much ignored him and continued with what was apparently her Danger Room fight sequence. Sabretooth. Pyro was a bit impressed. He was a strong opponent. And the girl was actually fighting him, not just using her powers to wear him down. She didn't look as if she needed saving, by Bobby or anyone, and she for sure hadn't planned not to be alone in here...
Instead of settling down and being able to enjoy the show, though, the Iceman suddenly started to get aggressive. Obviously he had discovered the fire mutant, and not only that, he immediately prepared for battle, with a less than friendly greeting. Even though this seemed a tad strange to John, he never even considered that the Iceman could think him to be just a part of the fighting setup.
He strolled out into the open, calm and casual. "If you insist, Drake. I guess we can do our rematch as well immediately and with a witness... I don't mind...", he threw Rogue a glance. He hadn't seen her since... actually, since Alkali Lake. John eyed the icy and dangerous looking blade Bobby had created, and seconds later he had his zippo in his hand and a few fireballs nervously hovering around him. "Are you sure about this, Drake, I don't wanna hurt the new commander of the X-Men...", he smirked. "It's a bit scary to think to whom Xavier might go next to lead his army of inexperienced kiddies."

What was it with men and testosterone fueled fights? Rogue would never understand it. Why did they feel such a need to fight to prove who is stronger? She didn't even understand it really in animals. Especially when males fought over females. It was as if the females meant nothing, and had no say in their own lives. Not only that but the whole thing appeared juvenile to her. Rogue realised this John was real, and not fake. Too many times she had seen the pair of them fight each other. She wished they could just be friends again. This was getting exhausting, and she wanted to put an end to it. She ran straight at Sabertooth and with a roundhouse kick sent him slamming into several brick walls until he was knocked unconcious. He wouldn't be down for long. Hopefully enough time to get Bobby and John to stop trying to prove who is better. She darted between them and glared at both of them in turn.
"Okay, this is getting ridiculous. Ya may not like each other any more but rutting like these like a couple of juvenile rams with no brains except the one between ya legs is ridiculous. If ya both don't stop then ah'll make ya, and ya really don't wanna make meh do that."
She stated firmly, before hearing Sabertooth getting up. God damn it. Too many men. Of course it wouldn't be so bad if ah could at least touch one of them. Sighing in resignation she spun around to face Sabertooth who was advancing on the three. Okay, she had to figure out something. Against what may have been her better judgement, Rogue bolted towards Sabertooth. She attempted to do a hard kick to Sabertooth's stomach but he back handed her so hard it sent her reeling backwards, landing with a thud to the floor a few yards away from him. Rogue groaned as she laid there, slowly putting a hand to her head. By the time she felt good enough to actually move properly Sabertooth was on top of her choking her. As if out of instinct, the barrier in Rogue's mind fell down, and the closest psyche's ability flooded through her into her skin. One of the fireballs John had hovering near him shot over to her and wrapped around Sabertooth's body like a snake. Sabertooth growled in pain upon being burned and shot up, leaving Rogue to come to her senses. The barrier shot back up as Rogue got her bearings and looked in confusion at Sabertooth as the flames that had captured him disappeared.
Where had the fire come from? Had John done it to save her? What had happened?

They say true loves hurts, and Kitty sure was hurting right up inside the body. She was mad, well more or less needed to let out some steam from all the annoyance. So, she phased through some walls and grabbed her uniform zipping it on slowly sighing a bit realizing everyone was out. At least she would get to let off some steam, her love life hadn't been the same since the island. Actually, she wanted to give up more or less but knew an X-Woman never gave up.Her hazel eyes started at the door, shaking off her annoyance for a bit, noticing the light was red. Someone was inside? Who? Everyone was gone...right? She looked puzzled, and actually surprised someone had decided to use it today of all days, shrugging a bit she looked from side to side.Well, she was old enough to use her powers and no one was around, so she clapped her hands and breathed slowly walking right through the door.
"Ah. Sim- Oh crap...."
She saw fire, and of course the same simulation from the beginning, well before the big battled happened...the team used this simulation. Not even before Kitty could move, she just had to hear voice and two oddly well know. She wanted to run, hide, or well just get away...but she needed the twitchy anger gone. "Yay...friends. Just what I wanted..." She couldn't go back now...they were already in front of her, and more or less leaving them in this simulation wasn't good. Kitty sighed quickly looking around and rushing towards them for a moment not seeing much of anything, except the flames and arguing men.
"Um, right. I do not mean to intrude. But you all sure, this is a good time to be fighting...especially in this simulation? OOC:I know I'm like mega late...get mad at me all you want...

Bobby was taken aback, he couldn't believe John was real, he felt so ashamed, he'd acted like a complete moron. Bobby stood down, he wasn't gonna fight John right now.
This day had just become strange, what were the chances of all four of them all being here, all at once in person in one simulation, how had they all ended up invading Rogue's training session. with all of them here the room would quadruple the difficulty of the simulation. "Guy's we need to work together the simulation is about to get four times as hard."

Just when Pyro readied himself to battle his former friend, Rogue decided to step in, obviously not pleased by the thought that they could fight each other. Bobby immediately stood down and seemed to have a bit of a sheepish impression on his face. John still hadn't realized that the Iceman had thought he was part of the simulation, and he was a bit disappointed. After all, he had been itching for a rematch ever since he woke up on that park bench in San Francisco, realizing that he had lost.
But then two things happened very quickly and nearly at the same time. Sabretooth was back, attacking Rogue fiercely and overpowering her - and another mutant quite suddenly stepped in. His mind registered Kitty just seconds before he reflexively reacted to Sabretooth and shot one of the fireballs directly at him. Only when the huge mutant retreated with a painful cry, the fire disappeared, and John could greet the newest arrival. "Kitty! Long time no see..." He smirked. "You picked a great time and location!" What a strange coincindence, all four of them in here... He looked over to Sabretooth who seemed to recover from the fire attack quickly. "And yeah, fighting is always a good idea, specially in here."
Bobby was right, though. He knew the Danger Room well enough. Four players meant the system would boost itself up accordingly. "I guess we have to delay the pleasantries til later", he said when three more Sabretooths appeared out of nowhere. John's fireballs which had still been hovering above him, went into action immediately, attacking 'his' Sabretooth before he could even come closer.

"Ya know what, next time ahm just gonna advertise the fact ahm in a danger room session! Maybe we can get Apocolypse in here too!"
Rogue snapped, annoyed at her alone time gone. Now she couldn't vent like she usually did. She didn't want anyone to know how fragile she really was, or upset, or how much she was suffering. She focused on Sabertooth again as he came towards her. She began attacking him ruthlessly, using every move every one of her psyches and herself had been taught. By the end, Sabertooth was a complete mess and only 'alive' because Rogue had fought to torture him not to kill. With him on his knees now she gave him a roundhouse kick to the face, satisfied when she heard bones crunch. She looked back at Sabertooth as he vanished, clearly now labelled 'dead'. Rogue then glanced up to see four other Sabertooths. Right. Now why did ah make a simulation just filled with Sabertooths? Rogue wondered briefly before shaking herself out of her own thoughts. She really did not need to analyse this or for anyone else in the room to do so. The last thing she needed was for them to say she had an obsession or some sick form of a crush. Rogue shivered just at the thought, repulsively.
She looked around to notice more Sabertooths were appearing. Within seconds there was ten of them. The simulation seemed to be reacting to the other three players in the room. After all, for Rogue she did put in for Sabertooths to continually appear until she was at a noteable level of exhaustion. Since there were four players instead of just one, the computer was making up for it. She glanced at Kitty and knew Kitty was not gonna like what she was about to say one bit.
"Kitty, let meh touch ya. We're gonna need all the help we can get."

Bobby knew he shouldn't be here, he knew it wasn't right, and now Rogue was mad at him. Bobby prepared to fight the sabertooth doubles, what an odd simulation.
Bobby was backed up against his old friends, it almost felt right. "Okay guys, let's Finnish this part so that Rogue can go back to her solo session."

John was liberally throwing fireballs around, hitting Sabretooths where he could, make them shriek and cry and burn. That didn't prevent him to see what Rogue did with this one Sabretooth, and he was surprised about her force, cruelty and brutality. Obviously she had some issues with this guy. Why only make Sabretooth opponents otherwise? Pyro couldn't help but wonder if she might also have a simulation programmed with only Pyros...
He found himself back to back with his former friends while the Sabretooths kept coming. "Drake, why the hell don't you just freeze them all?" he shouted. "Or don't you have enough stamina to do that?" It was of course a provocation. He wasn't in a hurry really to end this quickly. It was a fight, and he enjoyed fights, even in this odd constellation.
