A dark short figure could be seen standing on top of one of New York's many tall building looking down down at the cars that illuminated the streets of New York during the darkest hours of the day. As the figure looked down, a smile, which was hidden by his mask formed as he felt an abundant amount of energy coursing through his body waiting to be unleashed ever since earlier today. The figure dressed in a black suit that covered his entire body looked at the building next to him noting that it was a very good distance away. But this didn't matter to Ben as he felt as if he had the world in the palm of his hands with all of the power flowing through his body. He would then walk away from the ledge and turned back to face it before running towards the ledge at top speed.
When he got to the ledge, he jumped high into the air as his body headed towards the next building. At first, he thought that he was going to make it before his body went below the edge of the building while he was 3/4s of the way there. However, the young teenager suddenly disappeared before appearing on top of the building he intended to land on.

There were many things that Jeffrey wanted to do in his life that he was denied as a child thanks to his father. Hang out with friends (after making some), play at least one sport, see a movie, learn karate, go to the beach. The one thing he did enjoy from his childhood was cooking so he pursued it with a vengeance. But even after he'd run away to culinary school, he still wasn't free to pursue those activities. Most of his free time was spent working to fund his education. It was coming to the point that he didn't think he would ever do anything the least bit exciting in his life. So how did he end up possessed by a symbiotic costume flinging himself off a skyscraper in the middle of New York?
About one meter from the ground, his body flipped and shot a web-line to the side of the building, stopping just one foot from the ground. Landing on the sidewalk, the symbiote made him turn towards the civilians who had stopped to stare. He could catch a glimpse of his reflection in the glass windows and wasn't surprised to see the horrified expression on the people's faces. He was covered from head to toe in a green and black bodysuit that swirled and moved as if made of liquid, though it kinda was. If the elongated jaw and sharp fangs weren't alarming enough, his face had a skull-like quality to it and his eyes glowed in a demonic yellow. He spread his arms, hands extended and ending in a set of long razor-sharp claws. All indications that he was dangerous. So why weren't people running away from him?
"What? No screams of terror?"
That did it. The gawking crowd quickly scattered. His voice sounded alien, even to him. Then again he wasn't really talking, he had no control over himself at the moment. The symbiote was just having fun feeding off his adrenaline. Not that he had any to give at the moment. He knew the symbiote was really talking to him. The people just happened to be in there, though he wouldn't be surprised if the symbiote planned it to seem as if it was talking to them.
Nope. Having fun scaring the public? He thought, sarcasm dripping from his tone.
"You sound bored." The symbiote shot a web-line and started swinging down the street.
Gee, I don't know why. We've only jumped off the side of buildings about fifty eight times this week. Maybe I'm just getting used to it.
"Well we can't have that now can we?"
What do you mean by that? They landed on the side of a building, the symbiote's spider-like powers allowing them to cling to the surface. He still sometimes wondered why an alien had powers based on an Earth insect, then again maybe it was common from where it came from. Maybe there was a planet full of these creatures that evolved from spiders. Turning his attention back to where they were, Jeffrey tried to get a visual of his surrounds. Although the symbiote was facing the streets, he could just make out some of the engraved text on the stone beside them from the corner of his eyes: NEW YORK...and MUSEUM. Um...what are we doing at a museum?
"Making things a little more...interesting. Let's do something new. Ever fought a superhero? I think we should fight a superhero. Since I'm not sure how to call one, I guess we have to play bad guys like on those boxes you humans watch. Let's make a bet on who comes running. Since we're in New York, I say we get Spider-Man. Wanna bet 10 hours of your body time on it?" The symbiote shot a web-line to the top of the building and sprung off the wall, swinging around towards a glass window.
No wait, STOP!
The glass shattered on impact as he landed and rolled through a barrage of lasers, triggering the alarm system. Of the many things he wanted to do with his life, this wasn't one of them.

Shortly after Ben teleported onto the roof top, he heard a loud alarm coming from a near by building. He would then run towards the direction of the sound and when he came to the ledge of the roof, he noticed that the noise was coming from a near by museum. Finally! A crime I can stop thought Ben as a smirk appeared on his face. He of course knew that he shouldn't be happy, but a part of him was itching for a fight, which was amplified by the symbiote. Ben would then suddenly vanish from the roof top and appeared in the museum where he saw a black and green creature with a spider symbol. For some reason, Ben couldn't help but feel somewhat nostalgic when he saw him. He knew that he had never seen this thing in his entire life, but it was somewhat familiar.
"Hey you, stop right there!" shouted Ben as he pointed at the black and green creature with his right index finger.

The alarm continued to ring for several minutes before it was silence by the symbiote cutting the power line. "I think we've had enough of that." Loud noises, Jeffrey discovered, was one of the few weaknesses the symbiote had. That and fire. He'd discovered that one when he attempted to cook a campfire meal a few days ago using the symbiote to form gloves. Bad idea, he was still healing from the burns. It seemed that noise of this level, though not powerful enough to separate them, simply annoyed it. Jeffrey filed that piece of information away for later as the symbiote never did. An odd sensation suddenly rippled down his spine making the symbiote pause. His head tilted from side to side as if looking for something.
What is it? Something wrong?
"I sense...another." Another? Another what? Sometimes he wished the symbiote would drop the mystery act.
By which you mean someone else is here? Like a security guard, or a burglar, or oh I don't know maybe the police!? You broke into a museum! There's bound to be-
"No, another of my kind."
Oh. Well that was a new one. He didn't think there would be anyone else with a symbiote. Hearing the shout behind him, the symbiote slowly turned. It was a man decked out in a black suit with an obvious white cross on his chest. It was obvious who this person was, anyone dressed like that in public had to be a superpowered individual. And he was pointing right at them which meant that they were in so much trouble. I think we should get out of here.
"It's him. That's the other." The symbiote whispered.
Jeffrey stared up at the man again and himself. Were they really both bonded with symbiotes? They looked nothing like each other. For one thing, the man looked like he was in an actual costume, if albeit shorter and slimmer. His suit was smooth, his mask covered his face, and it didn't give him any additional features.
"Stop? Stop what exactly?" The symbiote asked. It took a few steps towards the newcomer and shoved a vase off a pedestal to leaned on it. "Stop this?" It pointed towards the broken artifact. "Or do you mean the alarm? I already stopped that and the power along with it. It doesn't matter anyway, you're just in time to join the party. My kind is always welcomed in my heists. Feel free to start anywhere on the floor." It gestured to both ends of the hallway from its left and right before looking back at him. "But somehow I don't think you're here for that, you mean to stop me correct? The symbiote isn't steering you at all is it human? I can see it in your eyes so don't try to deny it."

Wait, why did he just knock that vase down? Isn't he here to steal some of the artifacts? thought Ben as the creature knocked down a vase so that he could lean on the pedestal. The creature would then tell Ben that his kind was always welcome in his heists which made Ben raise his right eye brow in confusion as he had no idea what he was talking about, even when he mentioned the symbiote not taking over his body. This guy is just playing games with us so that he can use our confusion to his advantage. Seeing how this guy doesn't appear to be human, we should use our full strength said a voice in Ben's head that sounded exactly like the voice of his own thoughts. Thinking that this was his own thoughts, Ben agreed with the plan and said "You mind games won't work on me ugly" before rushing towards him at top speed.
As he headed towards the creature he pulled his right arm back preparing to throw a punch at full strength. Once the creature was close enough, Ben would send his right first towards the creatures face. As the fist shot out towards the creature's forehead, Ben suddenly teleported to the creatures right completing his punch upon reentry with the first heading towards the creature's right temple.
