Rogue fancied spending time with Logan, but of course, she couldn't find him in the mansion. She knew one place he'd most likely be: a bar. She knew she shouldn't be out past curfew, but then again, with all she had been up to lately breaking curfew would be the one of the smaller things to get in trouble over. She had so much on her mind anyway, so drinking some alcohol definately seemed like a good idea. She padded over to her wardrobe and got changed into a pair of flesh coloured tights, a white short sleeved dress with a sweetheart neckline ( the dress travelled down to her knees ), and a pair of white gloves that went up the entire length of her arm and finished under the short sleeves of her dress. She slipped on a pair of red heels, let her firey red and white hair fall down in loose curls, and grabbed a red and white stripped scarf which she put around her neck. Rogue then put on a black leather jacket, feeling a bit more comfortable with something dark over the top of her other clothing. For some reason, Rogue felt like wearing something light coloured with a flash of normal colour. She didn't know why, but then again sometimes always wearing dark colours did bore her. Of course, Rogue knew she would only wear non-dark clothes around Logan. She trusted him with her life. In her world, he was her best friend, brother, father, and confidante. He was the most important person in her world.
Waiting until the lights switched off Rogue sneaked out of the mansion and grabbed one of the motorcycles. Logan had taught her. Now that had been fun learning to ride one from Logan. With the key she 'borrowed' in hand, she turned on the motorbike and left the mansion's grounds. She stayed on the same road until she found the type of bar Logan seemed to be fond of. Rogue parked the bike around the back in the shadows, hiding it so she wouldn't loose it. She shoved the bike's key into her pocket before walking over to the bar. She slipped inside the back, bringing the leather jacket tighter around herself as she looked around for Logan. Spotting him she padded over before sitting beside him. Rogue missed spending time with him, just the two of them. She couldn't help but feel jealous though that he had his own biological daughter. It made Rogue feel as if she had been replaced, despite the fact she knew she probably had no right to feel that way.
"Hey Logan."

Logan had left the masion and gone to town, as he never abided by the school rules of curfew. Heck by good chance he was the oldest mutant there so none had the right of telling him what to do. Only out of respect for the Professor did he keep his temper down, most of the time, and behaved infront of the students. He sure in gods name did not want the Professor giving him the mindset of a poodle being dressed up everyday with pink bow-ties in his hair. Logan shuttered at the thought of it. Telepathic mutants were an erie thought at times, just thoughts of how demented they could be if they choose so.
Pulling the bike to a stop, once again Logan had taken one of Scott's bikes. It was normal of him, as he knew it either pissed the man off or he was so use to it by now he didn't care. Something about the speed of it Logan had gained to love. Awh, his favorite pub, it was on the edges of the Big Apple, but not to close so it wasn't a very busy place as all the rest of the pubs and bars. Just like Logan liked it, to bad it didn't have a fighting cage, as he did miss that a bit.
Logan had been there for roughly an hour or so before the scent of a familiar one drifted by his way. He looked up and smiled pleasingly to see Rogue's sweet innocent face again, but there was another scent on her. Was she still innocent? She had to be, no one could touch her without getting hurt, not even him. In his usual plan T and jeans with his old leather jacket, he extended an arm after setting his drink down
"Hello Rogue, how've you been?"

"Ahm fine, how are you? Is Faith okay?"
Rogue was a good girl. She helped people when she could, and never comitted a sin. Of course it was harder for her to commit any kind of sin with her mutant ability, but regardless, she didn't want to commit any kind of sin anyway. All except one. Envy. She was jealous of Faith. Faith knew who her parents were, and what was worse, was that Logan was her real dad. Rogue had gotten used to it just being her and Logan. Her being the daughter he had never had - well once she got over her crush on him - and him being her father figure. Now with Faith around... Rogue just wasn't sure where she stood any more. She felt as if she had lost Logan. It was almost enough to make Rogue want to find her biological parents. How bad could they be? Of course she knew her parents were either mutants, or one of them was, or they were both carriers of the X-gene. Regardless, it would be nice to have a real family for once. At least, that was Rogue's sentiment.
"Logan, can ah ask ya somethin'? It may be a bit personal..."
She asked softly, remembering what the guy 'X' had wanted her to ask Logan. 'I want you to speak to Logan about Weapon X and most specifically if he knows anyting about rule 316.' Rogue remembered. What on earth was rule 316? What on earth was Weapon X? Regardless, she had to find out, without Logan suspecting anything was wrong. After all she was trying to protect him, and that wouldn't work if he thought something was up. Rogue also reminded herself to figure out what that Adam guy was up to as well. There was Apocolypse to deal with, with the Xmen as well. On top of that she was finally maybe making progress with her ability with Xavier. Then she was in charge of the students at the mansion ( that was a very good thing though ), and was also now helping Bobby ( who was now head of the Xmen ) train the new recruits for the junior team. Right. That was a lot on her plate. Still, Rogue was determined to do it all. If she could just save everyone, without them knowing it, things would go great. Of course it would be even better if she could learn to sneak around.

Logan took another drink looking to Rogue ," Nothing ever changes with me. Faith? She's fine." He didn't stay on the subject of Faith knowing it up nerved Rogue that he had found an actual daughter. It surprised him Rogue had brought her up, but probably forced herself out of common curtacy. Such a kind heart even when it was bitter subject for her. Logan sighed and looked dead on at her, "Ya know I can tell how much it bugs you about her. I still... love and care for ya like you really were my own daughter Rogue." Logan didn't use word love alot but he would with her as he'd come to care for her and come close to losing his life several times to save hers.
Glancing around Logan noticed a younger man a few seats away from Rogue was checking her out and was pondering on scooting over to hit on the young beauty. Catching the man's eye Logan glared at the man and gave him a look of stay the hell away or he's asking for trouble. He looked back to Rogue, "I guess I'd be willing to answer anything you got. Can't say I remember much but first tell me why you smell of a stranger that isn't from around here?" Logan asked her seriously. he could tell by just the smell it was a male that was not very inviting. Why would Rogue be hanging with a bad sort of guy? Was she starting to hang with a new crowd that wasn't good? Not Brotherhood hopefully. Logan seen no reason why or what Rogue would be doing with such a crowd.

Rogue looked at Logan as he spoke. When he mentioned he loved and cared for her as his own daughter tears appeared in the corners of her eyes before running down her cheeks. She knew Logan was not the type to voice feelings so for him to say that... Well, she never thought she would wear him say it. Without hesitation she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly. She felt bad now for her feelings about Faith. Logan had saved her life so many times. She should have known finding a real daughter wouldn't change their relationship. Rogue couldn't help but feel a little insecure though. She was definately going to work on that. Letting Logan go she wiped her face before smiling brightly at him. She was definately glad she had come out to be with Logan tonight. She felt a lot better already. Logan meant the world to her.
"Thank ya Logan. Thats what ah really needed to hear. Ahm sorry about how ah felt towards her. Its just been me and ya for so long... Ah guess ah didn't wanna share. Ah love ya too Logan. Your the dad ah wish ah always had."
She responded softly with a warm smile. When Logan asked why she smelt of a stranger, Rogue was confused briefly, but then she realised he meant X. She had never even thought about smelling like him. She did her best not to let her shock, concern, and fear show. She glanced away from him briefly to compose herself before giving what she hoped was a nonchalant shrug. She really wanted to protect Logan, and since right now it meant keeping him in the dark, then so be it. She just hoped Logan wouldn't be too mad if or when he found out she had been hiding things for him. Twirling a strand of her white streaks around her index finger she glanced back at Logan with what she hoped was a casual smile. If she couldn't get him to believe her, then she knew eventually he would wear her down and she'd end up telling him everything. That wouldn't be good, and it would make it even harder for her to protect him.
"Ah helped an old lady cross the street. She was wobblin' a lot so she leant on me."
It was the first lie she could think of. Rogue then decided for another lie to go with her question. She sighed a little. She hated lieing, she never did it, and she especially hated she was being forced to lie to Logan. He was her father for all intents and purposes.
"Ah, uh, ah have flashes of your memories sometimes, and ah was confused about something ah saw. Logan, whats weapon X and rule 316?"

Logan ordered another beer and smiled slightly at the hug, he wasn't one for affection but usually never minded it from only Rogue when in a good mood. "Ya know I'm here for you any time you need me. Maybe I should get one of the cellular talk things." He thought as he knew he should probably get another walkie talkie thing from the Xmen so incase he was needed or could get ahold of them easily. Logan would loose them easily at times though. As he took fresh drink from the cold beer, Logan could hear the light small thumping in Rogue's chest vary in speed. For as much as she tried to cover it she couldn't hide she was lieing in anyway, fiddling with her hair and glancing away.
"Rogue. You know very well I can tell when someone is lieing or telling the truth. Why would you even bother to try, your to innocent to lie." Logan paused he was irritated a bit by the fact she would even think of lieing to him. Taking in her scent again there was no mistaking it was a dominate male of somesort had left his scent on her. "Old woman doesn't rub their scent all over you like their property. Who is he?" He asked more directly taking another swig, downing half the bottle. Getting drunk seemed a bit inviting at the moment, he just wouldn't return to the mansion so he wouldn't cause a scene.
Looking at her, she seemed to be really off today, she'd rarely asked him of the things she'd seen before. As the ones who knew of his nightmares they weren't pleasent and he hated talking about them. One they were a terrible part of his life, two he could hardly remember them and they haunted his sleep. "You know as well as I only know what I learned when we exposed of Stryker and his experimental lab. I was one of the first experiments I guess and have forgotten everything, rule 316 means nothing to me. All I know is weapon X is a waist of time and should be distroyed." His feelings of that program were very and even more sour after finding out what they had done to his daughter.

Rogue found herself stifling a giggle when Logan mentioned getting a mobile phone. He was definately like a father - not used to technology and rather stay away from it. She really did love these moments with him. She took a sip of her drink, feeling relaxed here with Logan. Just him and her. Like old times. One day they would have to go on a road trip. She'd love to see him fight again. He was definately impressive when fighting. Rogue found herself biting her bottom lip though when Logan called her out on her lieing. She should have known she couldn't lie to him. He could always tell, whether he was looking at her face, her body language, or using his superb senses to hear her heart beat. She sighed deeply. Maybe in a way she wanted to get caught. She never ever wanted to lie, and especially to Logan. She never ever wanted that kind of relationship. A part of her was relieved he had called her on it. Another part was terrified about what would happen next.
Rogue's face went bright red though when Logan mentioned old women don't rub themselves all over her like she was their territory. Was that what X had done? Was he marking her as his territory? Rogue wasn't sure. She hadn't seen him lately. If he was marking her wouldn't he be making sure no other males touch her? Rogue shook her head deciding she wasn't going to think about it. She had other things to worry about right now. She glanced at Logan with an apologetic and ashamed look. She was relieved he didn't know what rule 316 was, but was concerned when he knew what Weapon X was. She had to know what it was. First though she was going to have to come clean. She just hoped she would be able to convince Logan they should come up with a plan instead of just hunting X down to kill him. Maybe if she put herself infront of any escape route...
"Okay, Logan, ah'll tell ya everything, but we have to go somewhere private. Come on, we'll go in the ladies toilet, but please... please, please, please don't be upset, and please let us talk about it, hearing me out completely, before doing anything rash..."
Rogue begged before getting up. She downed the rest of her drink before padding around the bar. She went straight to the ladies toilet and made sure no one was in. Once Logan was inside she shut the door, locked it, and stood infront of it. She had to make sure Logan didn't do anything rash. He was well known for destroying anything that hurt those he cared for.
"So... the other night... Ah couldn't sleep, so ah took a walk outside the mansion, into town... Ah heard someone getting hurt, and went to see what was wrong. Ah went into an alley and saw an woman, she looked seriously hurt or dead. Before ah could do anything, ah got knocked out. When ah came to, the woman was gone, and there was someone else there. He was huge, bigger then ya, and very intimidating. Ah ran. He caught me. Logan... he smelt you on me. He wanted to kill you. He wanted to make you come for him."
She sighed deeply.
"He knocked me out. When ah came to, ah was laid outside the mansion gates..."
With that Rogue took off her polo neck top and revealed the long scar that went from the top of her neck, over her collar bone, and over one of her breasts.
"Ah woke up with this scar. It was supposed to be a message for ya. Letting ya know he could... he could hurt those you care for if ya didn't come to him. A few days later ah ran into him again. He tried to kidnap meh in a taxi. Ah escaped, he chased me into the forest. It was there ah managed to reason with him. He wanted revenge because you killed Deathstryke... that woman at the lab. Ah told him ya would have never hurt her if she wasn't so determined to kill ya. After a while I managed to get him to agree to do it my way. He told me to ask you about rule 316 and Weapon X. He wants to know what ya know about them. He said ya should remember rule 316 even if ya have forgotten. Clearly ya don't. You just said so. He told me his name was X. Logan, ah need to know what Weapon X is, and ah need you to promise me your not gonna do anything. Ah was trying to protect ya. Ah don't want ya to get hurt or die. Please don't be mad."
Rogue confessed, biting her bottom lip as she finished.

Logan downed the rest of his beer, he could tell she didn't like lieing to him. The bathroom? What? Was it that bad of what she had lied about? He was a bit unsure to folllow but knew he needed to, letting her enter the bathroom first he watched the hall making sure none were around before he went through the door. Logan's hair on the back of his neck were standing, he could tell he wasn't going to like this. Propping himself against a middle pilar of a stall with his shoulder his arms were crossed. His eyes and expression were harsh, even to those he cared about he never hid his dislike of a situation.
As Rogue began her tail Logan's temper and rage sparked and started a small burning flame. A man had chased her down, knocked her out and left his mark on her to piss him off? That was now working, if Logan would have found her that night he would have tracked the man down right then. "What!?" He stepped forward grabbing her shoulder, trying to be nice but a bit rough and looking at the scar this X guy had left on her. Now she was scarred for life, and Logan knew it must've been humiliating to know the man had seen her undergarments. She was so innocent and pure with mind and body, at times Logan envide her innocense. Letting go of her before he felt the affect of her mutation, Logan started to pace a small bit with his hands in tight fists, his knuckles were white.
X had even tracked her down again, and now he knew the real reason why she'd asked him of Weapon X and 316. This X man definately hit a nerve and Logan more than anything wanted to storm threw that door behind Rogue and track the man down. It was low of one to go for people their target cared about, obviously X was at his last resources and couldn't find Logan any other way. Logan was steaming now and ready to kill anything that stood in his way, except for Rogue of course.
"I can't promise anything! He will pay and if he's looking for me then I'm gonna find him. I won't be hurt or killed. It'll take more than a big bloke to tag me off." Logan closed in on her, anger creasing his face and pulsing through his tensed body. He looked down straight in her face, "And as for Weapon X it is this!" Raising a fist, the sharp slicing pain coursed through his hand as usual every time he extended his claws, his claws infront of his face. " That is what put the metal on my bones, I was considered originally as Weapon X. They failed with my escape, they capture and experiment on mutants to create the altamet mutants that hunt down and kill the rest of us. Faith is a result of their experimentation and torture, they did everything to her that they wanted to do to me Rogue. " Logan paused stepping back and turning around dropping his fist retracting his claws. He slammed his fist against the cement wall. " I will make no promises, but if he dare touches you again nothing will stop me!" He said through gritted teeth over his shoulder. He was restraining himself the best he could just for the sake of Rogue's pleading. For sure it was one of the hardest things for him to do was restrain his anger and rage.

Rogue felt fear for the first time with Logan as he gripped her and yelled. She decided not to mention that her shirt and bra had been torn that night so X had seen her entire torso bare. That would just make him madder, and honestly, she really did not want to remember it. It was humilating enough. He was so mad. She felt terrified as he closed in on her again. He was invading her personal space. Rogue knew he was just mad. He was just scared for her. She had never seen him like this infront of her though and it almost felt like it was at her. Rogue told herself this was anger for X and not her. She bit her bottom lip as Logan's claws came out and listened shocked as he told her what Weapon X is. Rogue soon realised how big this actually was. This was not good in any way, shape or form. Weapon X. It couldn't still be active but it seemed everything was pointing in that direction. This was not good. This had to be stopped and soon. This couldn't continue happening whilst they had Apocolypse to face.
"Shit! He had claws like you Logan. If you're right about Weapon X then... Then someone is still making them. This isn't good Logan. This isn't good at all. We have to find out who is making them. If Stryker is dead, then who would have taken over his project? As scary as X is, ah don't think he'd be the one to run such an operation."
Rogue thought out loud. If Faith had been one too... Who else was one? She frowned. What about that Adam guy? He had been shifty. Was he one too? How on earth were they supposed to know who was one or not? She had no idea how they could test people for it. Rogue inhaled deeply as she began to think more. How could they find out who was behind it? She frowned. It seemed the only way would be finding X. She glanced at Logan knowing he would be their best bet to finding X. Logan had the best senses around and was the best tracker they had. She walked over to him tentatively and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder.
"Logan... Ah have an idea. Ah know ya won't like it, but we can't just go and kill him. This is bigger then just him. If the Weapon X project is still going on we need to know who is running it, where their bases are, and rescue their prisoners, as well as shut them down. We only have one lead. X. He's an active weapon X from what ahm guessing. Ah can't find him though. He's always just turned up. Logan, ah will need you to track him. Don't make contact with him, just find out where he's sleepin'. Where he is livin' of sorts. Then tell me, and ah'll... Ah'll try to gain his trust. Ah'll get the information out of him. Once we have found out everything and stopped the Weapon X project, if X hasn't come to his senses, then ya can do what ya like with him. Okay? But first we have to do the right thing. We have to find out all the facts. Logan... there is someone at the mansion that ahm not sure about either. His name is Adam. He told me a false last name. He confessed that to me. He said he was there to spy on the Brotherhood, but ah feel like there is more to it. Logan... he even has meh powers! He said they were secondary, but secondary powers are smaller then primary ones. Ah don't think its natural either. Ah think someone put it in him... We need to figure out what he is up to as well. So please... can we just do this together now? I swear to not do something without you, and you can swear to do the same. Ahm so so sorry ah tried to keep this from me but ya have to believe me... Ah just wanted to protect ya. For all intents and purposes ya are my daddy. Ah don't want ya to die. Ah know ya have your feeling factor, but if X is really a weapon x too, then there is no knowing what other abilities and stuff they have put into him..."

Logan flexed his hand looking at it, claws like his? Did they still have DNA they extracted from him so long ago. The flood of Alkali lake should have destroyed everything, did Stryker have another lab somewhere else and who would have exceeded after him. His shoulder tensed at Rogues hand.
"We saved the kids when we were at Alkali lake from the same fate Faith had to endure. It should have been destroyed....there must be another lab somewhere else. But X is in the for a personal reason and I doubt Weapon X really knows to much of his actions. They like to keep track of their pets." He snarled aggressively, at times he hated the fact he had adamantium renforced bones. Logan was slowly pushing his rage down, he had not ment to scare Rogue but that was how serious the situation had been and was.
"I am not looking to track the agency down, X wants me and me alone, not the entire program. If they were hunting me they would want me alive, not dead. " He turned around looking at her, "There probably is alot of traitors in the mansion right now because we are so weak and have shown we are easy to attack and they will take the advantage. X is my target and thats it!" Logan knew what Rogue said was right and should be done, as for now though Logan was not on terms of easy agreement and docile way out. He'd resort to Faith if they had to desperately find out anything.
Logan headed for the door, hand on the handle he looked back to Rogue, "I'm sick of the ones I care for being in danger or risking their lives for me. I will not loose another for my long ass damned life. " His eyes showed a glimpse of worry and care, "Lets have another drink to cool down, I need it before I kill someone." He opened the door for her.

"Logan!"
Rogue snapped. She needed him. She needed him to be on her side. She needed him to stay at the mansion. Biting her lip she followed him to the bar. This was not over. Not by a long shot. She ordered two glasses of scotch and sat beside him. Rogue was not going to let him go out there to hunt X down. No. He had to stay at the mansion. They needed him there. He couldn't do one of his disappearing acts again. She grabbed his hand and looked straight into his eyes to show she was absolutely serious. She didn't need him going off on his own as well. There was more then enough going on right now without him adding to it as well. No. Logan was needed at the mansion. With her and by her. She sighed deeply, shaking her head a little as she gathered her thoughts. She wanted to get this out right. She needed to somehow get past Logan's anger to find the logical side of him.
"Logan, you cannot go after him. As you said, we are weak at the mansion right now. As much as the Brotherhood is... well, not good, they are there to help us. Ah believe they will help us, and this truce will stay intact until Apocolypse is gotten rid of. Until then, Logan, we have to trust them. Besides that, right now we need ya at the mansion. Ya are the strongest person we have there. Sure, ah've trained with ya since ah first came here, and ya have helped train a lot of other mutants in the danger room sessions, but Logan, none of us are ya. Ya have to let go of ya anger. It is not gonna help ya in this situation. We need to protect our own, and we need to find those causing trouble logically. We need plans. We need to do this together. Do ya remember what happened with Magneto?"
Rogue had never wanted to bring this up but she had to.
"We didn't work together with each other or with any of the Xmen. Ya believed Magneto wanted ya. Ya were gonna run from the mansion to take him out yaself, but ya ran away first, and so ya came after me. Ah made a mistake of running away. Doing that kind of thing never ends well Logan. Ah have the white streaks to prove it. Just because ya can heal doesn't mean your invinceable. Please, see sense, and lets do things the proper way. Please."
Rogue pleaded, still staring into his eyes as tears appeared at the corners of them. She didn't mean to want to cry but she cared for Logan so much. She couldn't bare it if anything happened to him.
"Lets do this with all the information at hand. Ah promise you'll get your pound of flesh, but for now, lets get all the information we can. If there is another base, we need X to find where it is, who is running it, and to rescue everyone there. What if there is another base, Faith was in it, and ya just went and slaughtered X without finding out anything? Logan, ya don't want to be responsible for innocent peoples death. Believe me. So please, lets just do this the proper way. We'll rescue everyone we need ta, we'll figure out everyone who is in on this project, and we'll end it once and for all. Besides, ya have Faith now remember? Logan, if ya go in there all guns blazin', and die, what is she gonna do? She needs ya Logan. More then ah do. Sure, all of us at the mansion could look after her but none of us would be ya. She needs her father. No one can ever replace that."

(assuming we are playing this out before Xavier got hurt.) Logan sat his body still tense as he grabbed the shot he'd ordered of their strongest whiskey and gulped it down and order another. He looked at Rogue, his look harsh, eye's almost as mean and feral of that of an angered animal. His brow was creased, if it had been anyone else other than Rogue running his ear off he would've just pushed them out of the way and continued on his way of business.
Looking away he knew she was right but did he honestly care, in a way yes but then again no. He wanted 'X' right now in his grasp being sliced apart with his claws. Just thoughts of it pissed Logan off more his fists were tense, so ready to let the claws pop out. He looked at Rogue again, " I know the costs and who needs what or who to be safe. Just cause it's you telling me this is the only reason I'm not out there right now finding him." He paused taking a breath to keep some what calm. " I won't hunt him yet. I'm sure you've displeased him so he'll be in my grasp soon enough for what seems the rage you've told me he has to get me. "
Logan took about three more shots and then held a beer in his hand. He wanted to be drunk by end of the night, that was for sure, sure Xavier wouldn't want him at the mansion drunk. His mind was already racing on those he'd lost in his life time that he could remember. "Rogue I'll stay at the mansion as long as I have to or want to. I know Faith needs me thats why I came back earlier than I wanted too." He took a swig of his beer, "Tonight though I'm going to get drunk, and I probably shouldn't go back to the Mansion as the Professor wouldn't like that so much." He chuckled as he did have respect for Xavier.
