Bobby walked into the professor's office, smoothed out his rumpled suit, and wiped the grit from his eyes. Bobby had literally just come back from Atlanta, he was still in the suit he'd worn to the Girl's house, what had happened there required the Xavier's immediate attention. Bobby swallowed once and then began.
"Professor, when I arrived at the Sampson house in Georgia, Delailah was already gone. Her parents have no idea where she went, but I'm sure that Apocalypse has recruited her. Our Enemy is moving, and we must be prepared. Bobby wasn't worried that the Professor would be angry that he had failed, the Professor was a believer in letting people choose their own path, but Apocalypse was a threat so powerful, that Magneto and the Professor had joined forces, Bobby was sure the Professor would focus on that information. Apocalypse was a threat, and with Scott, Jean, Storm, and Logan all out and about, Bobby was one of few experienced X-Men still at the school, the school was not prepared for everything anymore.

"That is not good bobby in truth i hoped we were wrong about this but it is looking more and more that we are not." he looked out the window what was going on things were bad. "i have a task for you one i can not ask you to do but i must. You may of course say no at any time. I want you to take lead of the x men field team. i can not think of any one better to do this."
he did hope the man would say yes. he was young but he had faith in him. "and when Scott come back you will be leading the second team. which i want you to hand pick."

What was the professor saying, it couldn't be true, there was no way he was asking Bobby to lead the X-Men, that was spectacular. It felt good to be trusted with this responsibility, Bobby was ready he could handle this, and even if he couldn't he'd never say no.
"Of course sir, I'll do whatever you need." This was a great opportunity, for Bobby, he was going to lead the main X-Men team, and then move down to his own team. It was a lot of pressure who would he pick, would it be a mix of the current team and the new graduates, or would it only be new graduates, Bobby had so many questions, top of which was Apocalypse, Bobby needed to know more about him.

"Well its time that the younger generation had more input into there world. " he sat down at the desk. "I assume you have some questions i will do my best to answer them Bobby. As you know a new power player has turned up and what i am about to tell you only a handful know and thats the way it needs to stay Apocalypse is a very powerful mutant possibly the first one, his powers are like nothing we have ever seen they are enhanced by alien technology. The more i tell you the more questions i will have to answer for you. In truth some of it i do not understand all of it my self."

Bobby decided to take things one at a time. First he'd get his questions about his new position answered, and then he'd get to their new threat. "Professor, when I make my new team, is it only new mutants and graduates, or will some of the old team members, be joining us?" Bobby was pretty sure that he'd be starting from scratch, but it would be nice to have some of his class on the team.

"i think it will be some of the newer students. I have some one training them up as we speak but i would rather get them out of his class. his methods are harsh and his class of twenty is down to five There is some talent individuals in the school. You have a larger pull then i did when i first started. of course some of them are not ready for this type of thing and will point them out to you.
The idea is for you to build the next generation of x men. For when me and the otehrs are no longer here. we have to start looking a head."

Bobby agreed with the Professor, his generation was the future and had a responsibility, no matter how good Charles, Storm, Scott, and Hank were it would still be up to Bobby and his generation to finish the diplomatic talks between the humans and Mutants. "Okay sir, I agree with everything, one last question, I heard a reference to Riders of Apocalypse, what is that?

"acording to what i have heard is the are his for generals and they are the spawn of the myth. They are his biggest weapons and the biggest threats he should hold back on using them. I don't know much but he increases there powers and adds a few more to make it harder. This may be the toughest challenge we will ever face i jsut hope most of us will live threw it."
he looked at the pile of files "here are the files on some of the students i think they could be worth a look. Others i dont feel are team players."

Bobby had no idea what he'd do about the riders, and the thought of a bigger threat than phoenix terrified Bobby. "Thank you so much Professor, I'll look these over, but I really must go take a nap, it's been a rough few days"

"yes of course, you could of gone for a rest before i would not of been upset i know how hard the things i have asked you to do are. I had done them for many a year." he was glad bobby was steeping up to the plate and doing what Xavier asked in truth he had high hopes for teh boy and he was everything Xavier hoped that he right. "go get some sleep and rest we will be having a meeting with you and three other to work out the team.
