"Hi!" Pyro said casually and strolled into the Dinner Room. It was in the middle of the afternoon, and the only other person in there was Wenzel, an attractive, tall young man that the fire mutant had observed for about a week now. Magneto had asked him to and hinted that this newcomer at Xavier's school could be interesting for the Brotherhood. Pyro, happy to have something to do, didn't ask any questions. It was a relief that despite having joined forces with the X-Men for the time being, the old man was obviously still thinking of the Brotherhood as a separate group with its own goals.
So John had observed, casually, discreetly. He had noticed that Wenzel was taking some classes, he seemed fierce, pretty macho, talkative when it came to girls; he had a strong accent which was apparently German. And he liked to smoke and did that even indoors occasionally despite a strict non-smoking rule. As did Pyro who also didn't care about rules that much. This afternoon he had just turned a corner when he saw Wenzel entering the Dinner Room and spontaneously decided that it was time to approach his subject. Why not? He had the task to learn more about him, and the fire mutant doubted that he could learn much more by just watching him. Also... the longer he did that, the more probable it was that Wenzel would notice and wonder.
John pretended to be hungry and approached the fridge in the corner, opened it and realized that apart from a loneley pack of orange juice it was actually completely empty. "Wow...", he muttered, "...lousy housekeeping", turned and looked at Wenzel. "Or did you just eat everything?" For a second it looked like a serious question but then the fire mutant grinned. "Guess this has to do then", he grabbed a pack of cigarettes out of his pockets, took one out, placed it between his lips and lit it with his zippo. Then offered the pack to Wenzel. "Want one? I'm John, by the way...", he pretended to study his face. "I don't think we've met."

Wenzel had waited after most of the students to be done with lunch hour before he'd even thought about getting food. He could and had gone for weeks if not full months before not really eating at all just because he could and his body would still heal with little supplement of eating. But today he figured be normal with eating and quenching his hunger, though it seemed no matter how much he ate as well he never gained an ounce of fat. All thanks to the healing factor of his body to keep it in top mint conditions no matter what. And to his disappointment the fridge was completely empty.
With a sigh he shook his seeing the juice boxes and letting the door swing shut. Sitting at the middle counter in the kitchen on one of the high bar-stools, Wenzel dropped his head in his hands with both elbows on the counter top. This place was welcoming and had a good outlook and hope on things. But was its cause hopeless, was it even possible to achieve. Foot steps and an on coming scent distracted him as he looked up to see a fellow mutant walk in to the kitchen. Wenzel had seen him around before and had a hint of what his scent was and now he got full resignation of it in his mind. Weather he wanted to Wen could remember anyone throughout his life time of first gaining mutant powers from their scent. Felt like a dog at times with scent memory.
"Ha yeah I could eat alot but these American kids don't know curtacy of how to share." Looking the young man over again, he'd heard this was one of the Mutants from the Brotherhood which were temperarily on the same sides of the Xmen. From what Wen had heard there was quiet the conflict between the two groups, why he did not know yet. Seeing the offer he nodded, "Please, I forgot mine in my room.....Wenzel... Thanks" He offered a hand to shake with John after taking a cigarette, his claws would barely touched John's skin on his hand. He remember Professor Xavier saying not to but oh well seemed like John wouldn't be telling anytime soon. "I keep to myself...most of the time."

John offered him fire as well, then shook his hand, noticing the claws for the first time. "Maybe we should just order a large pizza from Domino's or something", he smirked. "Delivery to mutant high..." The fire mutant sat himself on a chair next to Wenzel and continued to look at him.
"Wenzel... not exactly a common name in these parts. Where are you from?" Well, he knew already that he was from Germany but maybe the newcomer would offer some more details. Two guys could share a lot of stuff over some cigarettes, that was John's experience. He had of course noticed that Wenzel tended to keep to himself while he had been quietly observing, the question was: why? Why come to a place full of mutants and then play the loner? Well, not that he himself had been the total people person at the time, he also needed his space and sometimes Bobby, his roommate all those years ago, could be annoyingly chatty and outgoing.
Still, if Magneto was interested in this guy, there were maybe other reasons for his behaviour. "You have difficult powers or why you keep to yourself?" Sometimes direct questions were the best strategy. He would soon know if they worked with this one.

"Pizza Huwt has better taste get that." He took the light from John as well and handing it back once his cig was lit. Wenzel, even though is body was inable to become addicted to nicotene, taking a deep drag off it seemed to relax the man. John was being rather curious and full of questions, suppose Wen should be use to that over the years of meeting people.
Still all the same a bit irritating but it seemed this young mutant was in fact different from the other ignorant mutants in this school. He wasn't here for the classes, at least not anymore. "Accent doesn't give it away. Your country doesn't really favor mine that well throughout history....German." Wenzel chuckled with amuzement, even though never knowing the man even his voice and some actions mimicked that of Victor. That is only people that had met Victor before could catch it.
A shrug of the shoulders to John's last set of words, "Nah just don't like people and their questions. My temper can be short...suppose that's why I came here..." He dropped off his words not really caring to go into detail of why he'd come to this school. The massive conflict with himself, roaring alive his wild feral side clawing to gain control. For now he kept it at bay trying to find a reason to stay civil and have hope for some ungodly reason. Humanity itself was not showing any of which kind, and as for love, a feeling that was only rumors to him he'd never truely known. Not even his own mother had loved him why should he love humans. Wenzel gritted his teeth before taking his cigarette into his lips again to take a smoke to get his mind off stuff.

"Yeah well, I kind of think that your professor wouldn't really like pizza delivery guys skulking around the school, no matter if they're from Pizza Hut or Domino's", Pyro observed with a smirk. "And who am I to seduce one of the good guys to do things that go against the rules..." There was some obvious sarcasm there, since the smoking of course also went against those rules.
Information remained scarce, though. "Ah, Germany." No news there. He frowned. "I wasn't aware that Australia and Germany had issues... but, I'm not too good when it comes to history stuff." It was probably the class he had found most boring while and the school for gifted youngsters. "Anyways...", he grinned, "I won't hold it against you. And like me you're a long way from home."
Unfortunately Wenzel kept quiet about further details concerning his background, reason to be here and powers. Short temper was all he revealed. Oh well. "And here I am, bothering you with questions." John looked at him. "You rather wanna be by yourself?" Damn, a question again. It was hard to have a conversation without one if you had not clue about the guy you were talking to.

Wenzel looked at the fire mutant, an expression of full amuzement crawled across his face. Something about this guy was different of everyone else here and he had a humor most didn't. Just reading him Wen could see John being arrogant and full of himself at times and probably a good guess would be to using others to his advantage. A chuckled left his lips shaking his head, "My Professor? I don't have a leash and collar now do I? Good guy? Ha you really have no idea who I am." He sat more relaxed and the amuzement filled his voice.
He shrugged his shoulders at the Australian thing, "Damn I'm getting rusty on scents of countries and assuming to much. " He smirked taking another hit on his cigarette. This kid was really trying to get him to talk and it made Wenzel laugh on the inside. " You have no idea what long ways from home is." Already done with his cigarett he crushed the smoldering tip of the filter on the counter, Then flicked it at a the garabage can in the kitchen.
"Hey you seem old enough, care for a drink in town or at a club. Watch a bit of intertainment if your into that." Wenzel smirked showing off his fangs, they were so almost identical to Sabertooth's. Not sure if John was interested into going to clubs and watching the girls or not, but Wenzel was actually thinking of making possible friends out of him and whats a better place for two bachelors to hang out. A club with dancing girls. Oh wait was John single? Wenzel didn't think to ask or really care, he'd just given the offer .

Pyro smirked and pretended to look extra careful at Wenzel's neck. "Nope, no leash, no collar... interesting." He blew some smoke out of his mouth, while studying the other mutant who obviously didn't see himself as one of the good guys. Even more interesting. "Indeed I do not. But you're not with the Brotherhood, and since you're here... who else would you be than one of Xavier's precious X-boys?" John had no idea if Wenzel knew about the whole rivalry between the two groups but if not, he'd be happy to explain.
Anyway, the guy knew how to play cool, it seemed though, as if he was slowly warming up to Pyro's charms. And he was good at flicking cigarette butts, obviously an experienced smoker. And a fast one. "I don't know about you but I've never really missed my home." On the contrary. Leaving Australia and his fucking family was one of his best decisions ever.
Wenzel's offer confirmed that Pyro had managed to make a connection. But they revealed something even more interesting: fangs. Fangs like... John frowned. His immediate association was his fellow Brotherhood member Sabretooth but a connection there was highy unlikely. Sabretooth was ugly, this guy on the other hand... Pyro decided to ignore the fangs for now and focus on the words. He grinned back. "Sure who wouldn't be?" One remark was a bit odd. Wenzel didn't look much older than him - if even. But the way he sounded, it seemed as if he was. "What are you proposing?"

Wenzel looked at him with a slight curiosity in his eyes, squinting every so slightly at the word interesting. "I've not yet seen the real purpose of his X-boys. And haven't ventured to much into the classes to learn more. " He stands and stretches his arms a bit chuckling. Shaking his head as he thinks, "I've only heard rumors of this Brotherhood, even down to the southern boarders they talk of both them and the X men. Don't know much of either." He shrugged nonchalantly as he grabbed his coat from the chair.
"You look like your 19 or so. Come on lets go..." Wen started walking to the front hall. He paused in his tracks at the kitchen enterance and looked back at John, he'd forgotten he'd walked his way to this school. "....You got a ride?" He smirked laughing a bit at himself for offering the drink but not able to supply the ride. " Don't worry I'll cover all drinks." Wenzel held the door open for John to walk through.

John smiled inwardly when Wenzel took over his 'X-boys' wording. "You haven't missed much, the classes are boring as hell." The fire mutant was finishing his cigarette as well now and flicked it elegantly into the sink. He wondered what southern borders the other mutant was refering to - but obviously that's where he had been last. Maybe the border to Mexico? "You heard rumors?" He looked at him curiously. "Do tell - what rumors have you heard about the Brotherhood? I hope only good ones..." With that he should have clearly established where his own sympathies were lying. And if Wenzel didn't know much about the two groups anyway... maybe he could be interested in the Brotherhood.
19? Pyro was laughing. "Don't worry, I'm legal..." He got that a lot though. Maybe he should grow a beard or something. John followed Wenzel out to the front hall where he abruptly stopped. "Traditionally I borrow Cyclops' car - the one good thing I copied from Wolverine." He smirked and led his new friend to the garage, then gestured to one of the cooler sports cars down there. "Good choice, no?" It took him less than 30 seconds to open the driver's door and have the powerful engine running. "Let's go then!" Minutes later they were driving down the road towards the city while it slowly got dark.
"So", Pyro said after a bit. "What made you come here if you don't really know that much about the X-Men and everything?"
