Wanda was mad some one had hurt the professor. she did not think some thing like that would of bothered her that much. She stood at the lake and looked on. Who ever had done it was a fool this place housed some of the most powerful mutants on earth and all of them claimed some kind fo loyalty to that man. Even Wanda held some. This was her new Clan so to speak.
Scarlet red orbs covered her hands as she scouled at the lake. with a gesture she threw the orb in top the lake. for a moment nothing happened. Then the lake glowed deep red and was followed by a large boom. Water shoot up high in to the air and fell down spry covering every thing in the area. She sighed this was not making her feel any better. she threw another one in the same thing happened but this time it was louder and could probably be heard all round the grounds.
She was in no mode to be siting here helpless. How had that man done it. she checked her mental defenses and they were fine. He had not used his powers but she did like him. she had tried not to but it was hard he was so caring and kind like a father shod be. How had daddy dearest not been like him? She threw another orb in to the lake. as the water came down she heard some one behind her she spun round quickly ready to send an orb flying "what do you want?"

James could be seen walking around the lake with so much on his mind that he didn't even notice the wet ground. He had recently copied Cable's powerful telepathic and telekinetic abilities which he found out could kill him if he were to use them too often. James figured that it would be best to get rid of the telepathy as soon as possible since it was always active and while it may provide very profound experiences in human nature it was rather hard falling asleep since he could hear voices all across the globe. However, he kind of liked his telekinetic ability since it was something that he could decide to use and it could help him reach things he normally couldn't reach.
As James walked past a dark haired woman, there was a sudden explosion that caused the water to shoot into the air cover anything. James quickly created a telekinetic shield around himself with a simple thought which kept him dry as the water flowed down from the shield. As the water continued to rain down, the dark haired woman suddenly turned around and asked him what he wanted which startled James a bit causing his shield to disappear and the water from the blast to soak him
A breeze would then past by causing James to shiver a bit since his skin was now more sensitive thanks to the cold lake water. James would then take a look at the woman and recognized her right away as Wanda Maxamoff, the Scarlet Witch and even though the two have never met, James knew from the rumors that she was someone that he should never piss off.
"Well, having a nice dry towel would be nice. I'll just go back to the school to get one" said James as he answered her question. Sure it may not have been the answer she was expecting, but at least he was being truthful. James would then quickly make a 180 degree turn and started to walk away figuring that it would be best to keep his distance from her.

"well don't let me stop you." she gestured her hand glowed red for a moment and symbols appeared on the floor for a second the runes canceled out one powers in range. she was not in the mood to deal with any one and this would stop them using there powers to push her buttons with there powers. It also stopped the bold wonder from calling her or anything like that. She was glad when she had done that when she noticed the boy had shielding most people with telekineses powers could read minds as well.

James would then stop once he notice some strange symbols that suddenly appeared on the ground and couldn't help but be confused on what was going on as they suddenly disappeared. Then all of a sudden, the thoughts James could hear from all across the world were silenced, which made James turn around to face the dark haired woman with a look of relief on his face. "Did you just block my power and how long does it last?" asked James as he had the feeling that this power blocking power wouldn't last forever. Although it was nice to hear only his thoughts for a change, even if it was for a short period of time.

Wanda gave the boy daggers. " i thought you were leaving?" she turned around and looked towards the lake again. What was some of the people problems with this school? she spent moths making every one scared of her and yet they still bugged her. " tell me are you not worried i will turn you in to a rodent and feed you to my cat or some thing like that?" She crossed her arms and looked on.
Maybe she was getting soft she had not yelled at him or even pushed him away. " It's magic i am using Ortanths Field of Nullification. It Creates a void were no powers can use. Its used to help contain Magical Criminals, it also stops any powers entering it." the fact that she had told him what it was leader her to teh fact she was getting soft.

"Well I hope you don't mind if I stay here for a while then. The telepathy powers I copied from Cable are so powerful that I can pretty much hear the thoughts of others from all across the globe all day long. Which makes it very difficult to sleep I might add" explained James after Wanda explained to him that she cast a spell that is meant to nullify powers. James would then yawn a few second after his little explanation, although he couldn't help but wonder why she would cast that sort of spell in the first place.
"So, why did you cast that spell anyway?" asked James with a curious look on his face.

"whats it got to do with you? " she snapped at him. " i don't care who powers you have and what you can do. Is that meant to make me go weak at the knees? Well your are wrong. I word of advice when some one is blowing things up normally they are not in a talk frame of mind. " she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. " i cast the spell so that people will not be able to call me by several means."
She counted in her head she had promised that she would start to play a little bit nicer with the students and the others after all. They had done nothing wrong to her as of yet.

James couldn't help but become petrified by fear as the dark haired woman suddenly snapped at him telling him that it was none of his business on why she canceled out his powers. As she continued to rant about how she didn't care about what kind of abilities he had, James couldn't help but think about how scary she was when she was angry, and James had the feeling that this was only the tip of the ice burg. "Umm... if you want me to leave, I'll just leave" said James as he twiddled his fingers nervously.

well at least the kid got it she was not a nice person. " do what you want but i suggest you grow a spine to go with those powers you have. After all your powers put you in the big boy category now and that makes you a target." she heard of cable and what he could do with a thought if this kid had copied his powers he was going to be a target. Hell every Class 5 was. This included her. " i suggest you learn to fight fast and do it right. Learn to stand up and not let people push you around like some toy."

"I know...." said James after Wanda told him that he needed to grow a spine since his powers made him a target, which was the main reason why he hid his power from everybody. After all, Rogue was kidnapped for her power absorption ability, and the mere fact that he could copy the powers of the strongest mutants would attract any mutant group. Wanda would then tell James that he should learn how to fight and stand up for himself, which really wasn't big new to James. After all, he had the tendency to shy away from confrontation, but there was a part of him that wanted to be more confident and confrontational.

"Again you prove my point. Don't back down it dose not matter if they can crush you with a thought or not. Look at me the whole school is afraid of me and for what? tell me all these storys you hear about me turning students in to toads or cursing them, how many have you know that i have done that to?" she smiled she was going to regret this later she knew it but she felt sorry for the kid really she did.
Gah this places was getting the better of her so much for the big bad witch. "some times all it take is a word and people can be scared of you. My powers are grate i know that but the most powerful of us don't need them. Take the Bold wonder? He can make us think what he wants us to. Yet has he ever done it? And look at us all ready to go to war all it would take is a word from that man. Now that is real powera power my father has and a few others we bend to there will not because they can make us but because we want to."

After Wanda asked James about how many students she has actual turned to frogs, James realized that those stories of her turning people into frogs weren't true and that she was using fear to keep students like James from bothering her. She would then explain to James that the most powerful beings on the planet are those who can influence other people without bending their will, with Professor X and Magneto being her examples. James of course knew that despite the fact that he could copy their powers, he would never be as great as they were. After all, James did lack a "spine".
"Do you honestly think that me of all people can actually be like that?" asked James knowing full well that he didn't have the charisma to be a natural leader, He also knew that he didn't have an attitude like Wanda's or was physically intimidating like a wrestler on WWE to be feared.

"only time will tell. humans want to believe the worst in people. they would be happy believing i just like my Father." the last word had so much venom in it that it could kill a rhino "your an class five mutant from what you have been saying use that and you might not have to grow a spine. I scare people away so i dont have to turn them in to frogs. As long as you can make them think that you are the big bad you never have to prove it."
It was an old trick and it worked well for her. she crossed her. "come on lets here it try and get me back down." why was she doing this? it was not normally like her. "if you do well i will remove that telepathy out of your mind for good. If thats what you want?"

"Wait, you can do that?" asked James in disbelief. Normally he would be able to tell what kind of powers she had through his ability to sense super human powers, but since she blocked all of his powers he was unable to do so. This magic thing seems kind of useful if she can do that. But.... it probably wouldn't be wise to copy a power like that without knowing the repercussions thought James knowing full well what kind of repercussions of some of the more powerful abilities. After all, Cable's powers are slowly killing him with each use.
ooc:Sorry about the late post. Calculus just ended for me and my best friend who now lives in another state is here for a week, so I've been busy spending time with him.

Wanda started to walk to wards the boy. " come on you brat lets see you stand up to some one with out using your powers." she pushed him the tone of her voices was hostile it was a quick change from the nice tone she was using a moment ago "well lets see it then?"
