Nur now found himself in the least likely place possible, in the widespread gardens behind the Xavier Institute. As his eyes peered through the foliage of numerous trees, the building loomed over the gardens. His eyes trailed down to the blue fur covering his body, his expression emotionless. He had replicated one of the Xmen, who to his sources, would be gone on a business trip for a while. Nur despised the particular Xmen whom he now took the form of, the mutant rights activist Hank McCoy, who tried to find a peaceful alternative for mutants to live among humans.
Yet it was a crucial part of his plan. He was here after designing a Cerebro clone, using his prototype creation to locate a possible candidate for his next horsemen: Pestilence. He had taken every precaution to shield himself from those within the Institute, namely the one known as Nathan Summers. His Celestial technology had been augmented to such perfection that even the eye of Cable wouldn't be able to locate any energy signatures. He had even gone through the trouble of molecularly altering his suit so that it was now made entirely of vibranium, fully inhibiting any other traces he might , however unlikely, have missed.
As Nur's eyes traveled over the various shrubbery, they stopped next to a large lake, lone figure sitting in the grass, which had long since been decayed. Nur's blue bestial features formed a slight smirk as he analyzed the man. This was the mutant he was looking for, genetic traits, skill sets, and energy signatures matched that of what he had been informed of. His feet slowly maneuvered himself within a few feet of the boy, his head looking solemnly at the boy, his body instantly taking a defensive matter against the viral cells that now entered his body, revitalizing the tissue as Nur sent bioengineered cybernetic antibodies to combat the strain. While En Sabah Nur was aware of the infection, he showed no signs of it affecting him as he looked down at the Japanese boy, his voice growling out coldly.
"I assume you're the one they call Derek Nakamura."
