++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Kurt sat parched on the roof highest point he watched every one below him he felt alone even with so may around him. he felt the strange breeze as it moved around him but he stayed sat perched like an eagle watching over his hunting grounds. He could see the grounds of the school and beyond the city he once called home. Now nothing more than a breeding grounds of hate and fear. Up on the roof he knew only a few could get to him even if there was a small observation platform for those who could not make there own way up.
He sighed it seemed now that every one had something to do or some one to be with, but him. He sat alone not even one friend who would miss him if he left . Even his teaching he had arrived late, not through his own fault his alarm clock failed to go off making him late and it had to be Wolverine he was teaching with, he was not impressed. Kurt's yellow eyes scanned the grounds he saw most of the students looking human and he looked at his blue three fingered hand, he had his inducer but it was not the same. He had looked in the bible for an answer to his loneliness but there hand been no answer just more questions. He gave a deep sigh and let his tail coil around a metal rail that sat close by keeping him from falling not that it would bother him if he did as he would just move to someplace else.
Again he just sat looking at the world around him lost deep in his thoughts waiting, watching and knowing he was alone no other mutant was like him. wolverine had x23, Xavier had Jean but he had no one he was unique and lone.

Amara was bored, which is something she didn't like being. Max was somewhere else and she didn't have anyone else to talk to, everyone was busy. She didn't feel like going to classes, honestly she didn't really want to go to school anymore. She knew what she wanted to do with her life and that was be a member of the X-Team.
She decided to walk outside and soak up the sun. If anything it would be nice to get out and get some fresh air. Amara dressed in a tank top and shorts and walked outside. It looked like she wasn't the only one with the same thought. She sighed and looked around when something on the roof caught her attention. It was blue, not a statue but a mutant. She rolled her eyes in a playful way and made her way to the observation platform a few stories up.
When she finally reached it she yelled at the blue mutant, "Hey, Kurt! Why are you all the way up there?" She placed her hands on her hips and smiled, waiting for his response.

Kurt heard the voice of a female and turned to face where it had come he chuckled seeing who it was who had spoken. " Trying to find some solitude and a new out look on life Amara. " He said softly as he brushed his blue hair from out of his face as he looked at her. He moved slightly to his left to face her, as his yellow eyes looking right at her he gave a sigh. " Go on scream and run away, like all who see me do. "He said as he crouched on the platform not far from her.
He held up a blue three fingered hand then closed it shaking his head as he did so " why was I born ?" he said softly " I am nothing but a freak rejected buy his own mother " he told her and turned once more to face her. " You see why I need space, but I have to admit sometimes it would be good to have some one to talk to as well" he glanced at her for second. " Friendship has always something just out of my reach Amara" he said once more softly to her.

Amara looked up at him, squinting at the brightness of the sun. She hadn't thought that he wanted to be alone. She was about to tell him that she'd leave if he wanted her to. She felt her blood rise at his words, not because she felt insulted- far from it. She felt an uncontrollable anger rise in her for the thought that people would do that. Amara took a breath to calm herself down. She cooly said in reply, "Let me know who the fucker is that would do that so i can have the satisfaction of kicking his dumb ass." Amara liked to think she could put sailors to shame when she wanted to.
He looked at his hand almost whispering to her. She felt empathy for him. He was saying the same things she had the days after she burned people alive with her new found powers. Today she was able to accept them as gifts and a blessing from God. "Kurt," she started by shaking her head and placing a friendly smile on her lips, "What say we go and sit somewhere and just talk, I think that part of the roof is built for just one person at a time. Besides, I need to punch you in the arm for saying that you don't have friends. I kind of always thought of you as a friend." She meant it, since starting out on the team she felt like everyone there was her new family. "Plus i can tell you about my family, I think we might find some similarities between the two of us."

Kurt heard her talk again and he was surprised she had stayed as long as she did . He was more surprised when she asked him to go with her so they could talk better. Standing he looked at her " well lets go to the gardens and talk more " he said and bamfed down to the seat that was below them he looked back up at her wondering just what she would do walk down. He sat down and waited.
His mind slipped back to his thoughts as he waited he saw a lady bug and smiled thinking how that one bug had come to be just as he had but at least it knew where it had come from. He didn't, he had no clue who he truly was or his parents. He looked around now that he was on ground floor her saw the other students walking past him. His hand reached for his transducer thinking he would turn it on so nobody would see his true form he knew the students were use to seeing him that way but something in his mind had switched to wanting to hide it.

Amara waited for a second to see if he would reappear next to her. When he didn't she looked around for him. She found him where she originally started, downstairs. She rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breath while she walked back downstairs. She walked up to him and smiled, "You'll get fat if you teleport everywhere." Amara chuckled and sat down beside him.
She sighed and looked at their surroundings, it was peaceful and the weather was nice and warm. "Isn't it just amazing out today?" She smiled to herself, "It's days like this that makes me miss Brazil, but I like it here more." She kicked the ground absentmindedly, "Even if i wanted to go back I wouldn't." She chuckled again, this time a bit more sarcastically, "Can you imagine? Me, the one who goes into a fight knowing the odds are against her." She sighed, "Can you imagine knowing your parents and sibling your whole life, loving them, respecting them, and one day they suddenly throw you out without a second glance like a garbage bag." She had to take a big breath to breathe correctly, her throat felt as if it was going to close up on her. "It hurts more than I'd care to admit, or even let people know...." Amara smiled grimly.
She took another breath and forced herself to smile at him, "So now that you know the rough story of my childhood, care to share your worries?"

Kurt looked at her and chuckled as she said he would get fat if he ported every where. He watched her sit with him and listened as he spoke about her family and how they treat her badly. He Gave a sigh " I wish I could say the same but I don't know who my mother and father are, but my family are here at the school they have shown me kindness and given me so much love I see them as my brothers and sisters." he said smiling at her.
He chuckled again as she asked about his worries " ow the usual , life and faith " he said turning slightly in his seat to look at her " I guess me being on my own, and why my life has come to this " he said looking at the grass below his feet . " some times I just wish I could just look human my transducer makes me look human but under it I'm still... this, a blue demon looking man who sits alone" he said softly moving the three fingers on his hand his tail lay at his side .

Amara patted Kurt on the knee, "That may be a good thing, you never know what it could've been like- what if they had been mutants too, and maybe they would have accepted you. So i am very relieved that you sound like you feel blessed, because you are." She grinned, "And I am happy to consider you a brother- at least you won't leave me with a cold shoulder. You better not or else. I mean it too!" She said the last part in a joking manner, she was never really serious unless the situation called for it or she was discussing a hard topic.
"Well come find me if you find yourself alone. I guarantee you that I'll be around. I'd do anything for my family," she winked at him. "But we're mutants, we should be proud of everything that we get to do and can do. No one else can say the same things as we do. So it's almost like a blessing in disguise. I'm not going to sugar coat anything for you, that's kind of wrong. People will be afraid of us for a while- maybe you'll get more hate and fear than me, but as long as i'm here i've got your back."

Kurt jumped a little at her hand patting his knee as he sat nobody other than a few X-men had touched him and here she was patting his leg like they were good friends . He relaxed and smiled as he listened to her he nodded as she spoke of that she thought of him as a brother. He gave a sigh thinking that was all he would ever have women think of him as nothing but a brotherly figure. He listened further and looked at her then at his hands as his tail moved between them both.
" I guess so " he said and sat back on the bench as he looked up at the sky then at her " I'm sorry I'm just not that happy " he said " thank you for you kind words Amara but what I need is some one I can share more than just words with, but I fear nobody's out there for me " he said his voice sad and soft.
