Havin nothing on skedual for the day or perhaps next week as students were in class. Logan's truck had given out on his way back from last trip of being gone. The timing of the engine was off somehow, leaking major oil, and it was giving signs of head gaskets being blown or torn. With the years in his long forsaken life Logan had picked up the skill to easily fix or rebuild an engine of almost any sort, pretty much could be a hobby if he actually liked it enough.
Grabbin a tool box, oil drain pan, and a few other tools he'd need from the tool cage area of the garage he headed over to his truck. It was an older model truck, as Logan did prefer and appreciate the older years. Throwing the pan underneith the truck, Logan popped the hood. He chuckled to himself thinkin if he disabled the use of his truck for a bit Fatih and Rogue would be happy he couldn't leave so easily at will. Logan knew it bugged both of them when he just disappeared, they probably thought it was irrisponsible of him to always do that, but it wouldn't be him if he hadn't.
Draining the oil and now was slowly disassembling the engine manifold making sure all was in an organized pile on one of the work tables in the garage. He was about a half hour in on working on the truck grease and oil covered all his arms and a good amount of his face and his grey sleeveless shirt. Rather content with having no one bug him, he almost felt like he was normal like a regular human man working on a truck just to make it do its job efficiantly of just working right. No need of mutant powers to fix this problem, just regular muscle and hands on work.

Every broken enemy will know That their opponent had to be invincible~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Faith had just finished the last class for the day, and had the overwhelming urge to get out of the crowd of students. She was never any good in crowds, and with the growing body of students at the school, she didn’t think it would be too much longer when she would feel the need to get out of there for a while. She had to just get away from everyone for a bit, and where ever she looked for solitary she didn’t find it. The pool, the stables, the kitchen, the lake, even the forest had students mulling about. There was only one place she hadn’t checked. She approached the building, hoping and wishing there was no one inside.
However as she approached, her senses picked up that her wish was not going to happen. She paused just outside of the door, and sniffed the air. The scents of her father and motor oil reached her, and she wondered if she should go inside. Her hand on the doorknob. She was just looking for a place to lay low and relax. She didn’t know if he would be in a similar mood to hers, or not. If he was, she knew she shouldn’t even entertain the notion of hiding and holding up inside. But then again she was his daughter, perhaps she would be the exception. Then again, she didn’t want to chance it. She was more than likely to bite someone’s head off if she was shouted at.
Faith closed her eyes, not knowing what to do now. Her jaw clenched in agitation, and then her eyes popped open as someone made noise approaching. Her sight zeroed in upon the student that seemed to making a beeline for her. Great. Not only did the student see me, but it is one of the most gifted of the mouth. Why can’t they just leave me alone?! She thought to herself, and made a rash decision. She quickly opened the door behind her and slipped inside. She quietly closed the door behind her, and braced herself for whatever her father might say to her. She also hoped that the student that seemed to want to talk her ear off would just pass her by and leave her alone.
She closed her eyes again, trying to calm herself back down. She truly didn’t know how these students could do it. Be part of this school. Be part of a team, a very large team at that. The biggest group she was forced to be a part of for more than 15 minutes five, and that was for hands on training. So a majority of her classes had raised that urge in her to find sequestration somewhere isolated. If truth were to be told, she was not handling being a student very well. She had never had asked for help from anyone before, and she knew that if she didn’t get a hand on herself she could quickly get out of hand. And when she got out of hand, someone would be forced to stop her. So far that list of people was pretty damn short. Her father was right at the top of it.

Sprawled out over the wide area of the engine, his hands turning a wrench loosening bolts up. One bolt was tightened to an ungodly torch, the grease on Logan's hand took action as there was a loud thunk of flesh against metal, "F***!" With the amount of force he'd been using to undo the bolt his hand had slipped and he'd punched the firewall, slicing open his knuckles while doing so. Logan got off the truck and found a shop rag, only time while working on the truck did he appreciate his mutation worked. By time he put the rag on his knuckles his flesh was healed, he was just wiping away the blood and gretting grease off his hands.
Sound of the door opening reached him across the garage, who'd be coming in here at a time like this? Then before her scent could drift across the room he seen his daughter. She looked like she was having a bad day and even seemed like she'd been forced to come into the building by how rushed she'd enter. Was someone following her? Or chasing her? Would he have to kick somebody's ass or just give them a strong warning? The show of claws normally shut any young mutant up.
He rubbed a bit more grime off his hands and arms so if he touched Faith he wouldn't get her too dirty. Perhaps he could calm her down, as he was still in a good enough mood from being gone. It always helped him leaving to deal with the crowds of this school, he'd noticed though that there seemed to be even more students than usual. If he'd been a kid while here he probably would have gone nutts and killed someone on accident. He didn't understand how Faith could do it every day all the time, but he was proud of her for baring it and doing it. Logan knew she was doing better than he ever would've been able to. "Faith! Get over here and tell me whats wrong." He yelled across the room, slight echo over the vehicles in the room, his voice grough as usual. It was more of an order for her to come over to him than an offer, but either way he'd get her to talk. Leaning over the truck again he grabbed the wrench and wiped it off while waiting for Faith.

Every broken enemy will know That their opponent had to be invincible~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Faith leaned against the door as she felt as well as heard the mutant knock on the door behind her as well as call her name. She so did not want to be bugged by anyone, most importantly the mutant who was determined to talk her ears off. She gritted her teeth, and she bit back the urge to shout at them to just leave her alone. She was on the verge of killing someone, and then get kicked out. She wondered what had possessed her to agree to take a few classes in the first place. Of course at that moment, she suddenly regretting the decision to stay at the school after her father had left. She should have just packed what little things she had and hit the road.
But she didn’t, and she was regretting that choice at the moment. She was not a people person, nor was she raised as one. So her being stuck in a crowded school all day, everyday, was not something she could do all on her own. Now it was starting to really take it’s toll on her, and her usual solitary time was becoming more difficult to find. It was even starting to become fewer in frequency. She had successfully found the time everyday at first, then more students started arrive and finding a spot without anyone to bug her was becoming harder and harder to find. She was jarred out of her problems when her father yelled over to her, and the mutant on the other side of the door was gone.
”Faith! Get over here and tell me whats wrong.”
Faith opened her eyes and spotted her father leaning over what she assumed was his personal truck. She began to wonder what he was doing, but by the way he demanded her to go over to him she gathered he wouldn’t like her asking questions at that time. She sighed and did as he ordered, and approached him. He was wiping grease off a wrench, and she stopped just on the other side of the truck from him. ”The school and crowds are getting to me, Dad.” She told him and looked down at the floor. She knew that she wasn’t as strong as he thought her to be in that area. She didn’t want him to be disappointed in her for it.

Once it was somewhat clean he put it back on the bolt he'd been trying to loosen. He attempted to loosen it again, " Are you understanding the materials in class or is it just overly crowded for you to consintrate?" Glancing up at her as he gave grunt and hard push. The bolt popped loose and his hand slipped again, he bit back a swear word but continued to take the bolt out. He started loosening another one, then he could take off the enter top to actually start the dissassemble to the parts he needed to replace.
Logan paused and got off of the truck and leaned against the work bench table. Looking at Faith, he had much worry of how her transion into the school had been going. Wasn't sure in himself if he could actually help her, but he would try as he still wasn't the greatest at controlling himself at times let alone helping another. He was actually surprised in himself he'd stayed so long and commited to this school, it wasn't normal for him but he'd found reasons to keep coming back. Faith was one of them, "Ya know perhaps next time I'll get Xavier's consent and take you with me when I leave again. I think it might do you some good to get away." Logan suggested thinking of when he might leave agian, perhaps if convinced he'd stay longer this time.

Every broken enemy will know That their opponent had to be invincible~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Faith watched him somewhat disappear into the engine, and attempt to do what he was doing before she interrupted him with her entrance. To her, it looked like her father was attempting to take a part of the engine off for some purpose, but she had no idea what he was doing. If she was truthful, what he was doing at that moment was totally foreign to her. She sort of felt out of place in the garage, and especially when mechanical work is being performed. Sure she knew what tool was what, and its purpose. But that is about it. She knew how to change a tire, and keep an eye on fluid levels. But ask her to perform basic mechanical repairs, you would do better getting a boy from a local high school.
”Are you understanding the materials in class or is it just overly crowded for you to consintrate?”
She sniffed the air and smelled his blood from where he sliced his hand opened from the slip of the wrench on the bolt. She picked up a nearby rag and handed it to him so that he can wipe off what blood had been left after the injury healed itself nearly right away. He continued to work, so she put it with in his reach. ”The material is somewhat challenging, but I like challenging. The crowds I can’t stand. I feel like I’m being pressed back into a corner… I don’t do corners well. Never have.” She looked away so that he couldn’t see the fear and a tinge of sadness enter her eyes. In her mind that was a weakness, and she couldn’t show weakness. Something told her that went double when in front of her father.
”Ya know perhaps next time I’ll get Xavier’s consent and take you with me when I leave again. I think it might do you some good to get away.”
Faith looked up at him, a bit hopeful, and nodded her head in answer. She felt like she needed to get away from the school and the ever increasing crowds. She was raised in solitary, and she had never been good in large groups. She was truly tested here, and she was failing that test slowly. She looked away again, not wanting him to see the failure she thought she was in her eyes. She was raised to believe that failure was never an acceptable option, but with the crowds of the school that seems to be the only option. ”It’s getting harder and harder to find an isolated and solitary spot in the school. I’m scared it is only a matter of time before I snap and injure someone or worse…” She told him a hint of fear in her voice. She didn’t want to hurt or kill any of the others here, but they didn’t seem to know that her being among the student body was taking it’s toll on her. They seem to be oblivious to her needs in that regard, but then again they were not trained to look out for the warning signs like the people that were hired to look out for her at the facility.

Logan just stood there looking at her reactions, even though she tried to hide her face a few times from showing her emotions. His animalistic six sense told him she had fear in her, of exactly what he did not know, but Logan could usually always tell when a person was either scared or telling the truth. Grabbing the rag he'd seen her put on the edge of the truck he wiped off his hands again. Looking back at her, "Honestly it's all up to you at how much you want to stay in control. It'll always be a constant fight on the inside, that is if your anything like me." He tried to put a small bit of humor in his words with a chuckle and small smile, " And from what I can tell you've gained more than just the claws from me."
Glancing at the truck he figured he'd be done for today as he'd already spent a bit on it. Getting up he removed all the tools from under the hood and then closed it softly as not to trigger the lock on the hood. He turned around leaning on against the grill and bumper of the truck, arms crossed, " It won't be for awhile till I leave again as I got a feeling the Professor could use my help around here for a bit. I'm actually thinking of setting up a class for students that feel like they have a feral side." He paused, resisting at shaking his head at himself, him teach a class this would be interesting. " I figure a few need guidence, like yourself, at controlling themselves. I'll try to help them, danger room most likely will be coming in handy alot." Logan smirked as he liked using that room at times just to give himself a little bit of a challenge. Maybe they upgraded it again so there was new stuff on it.
"What ya think of that? Oh and is there any students I have to go scare off?" He asked his daughter referancing to the student that had followed her to the door. Logan would be more than willing to spook a few kids, Xavier would definately disapprove of this.

Every broken enemy will know That their opponent had to be invincible~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Faith wasn’t frightened of may things as she had seen a great deal in her short life, but what she was scared of was inside of her. She knew she was quite powerful, and she didn’t know how powerful she was. She knew she had something inside of her, something scary and extremely powerful, and if she didn’t keep it in check it would and can get out of hand for everyone. She nodded her head back at her father when he said his thing about control and what she had gotten from him besides the claws. ”It already is a consist fight for control. Some days it is just harder than others. And I have over heard them say just how much I was like you where I grew up.” She told him with a visible swallow, knowing how much he disliked the idea of were she was raised.
" It won't be for awhile till I leave again as I got a feeling the Professor could use my help around here for a bit. I'm actually thinking of setting up a class for students that feel like they have a feral side. I figure a few need guidence, like yourself, at controlling themselves. I'll try to help them, danger room most likely will be coming in handy alot."
She looked at him as he told her what he was thinking about doing. Teaching a class for the students who feel like they have a feral side. Well she didn’t feel like she had one, she knew she had one. One that Weapon X had forcibly kept close to the surface, and perhaps was the reason why she was having a hard time staying calm. The animal in her lived so close to the surface, she was finding it difficult to attempt to be human. She of course had been seeing a lot of the danger room lately, and that was only for classes pertaining to combat training. Like she needed more, but if she were to be honest with herself she would very much prefer to take lessons here than her previous trainers and teachers. She didn’t get beat up quite as much.
”What ya think of that? Oh and is there any students I have to go scare off?"
Faith looked at him, trying to come up with an opinion for him. To give him some kind of feedback for his idea of a class. She was never asked for her opinion before, she was only told what to do, and she did it with no questions asked. Perhaps the only time she ever ‘rebelled’ against Weapon X was when she escaped from them. ”I think it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try. And I thought the whole idea of me staying here besides hiding from Weapon X was to get me used to being around others… Not that I would wish they would leave me be, but do they even know how much danger they but themselves in when they try to push their luck with me?” She asked him as she leaned against a nearby table.

Logan listened as he pulled out a cigar and lit it, inhaling on it heavily to get it started. He exhaled with a sigh and a grin, "Cheap but still get the job done." He chuckled, putting the lighter in his pocket. He also pulled out a key and tossed it to Faith. "Here, a place for you to get away from the kids." It was a second key to his bedroom, "I trust you that no other should enter my room besides you."
Mind full of things as usual the whole thing about doing the class was a bit ocward for him, " Perhaps only use the Danger room as defense to see how far we can push each one of ya. Repeat it so you guys can gradually learn to gain more and more control. " He took another drawl from the cigar blowing the smoke away from is daughter. "Ya know sometimes best way to get use to people is to look at them from a distance."

Every broken enemy will know That their opponent had to be invincible~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Faith watched with curiosity as he pulled out a cigar, put it to his lips, lit it, and gave a deep pull to get it started. The scent came quickly over to her, and she had to fight the urge to not to cough from the stench. It smelled bad, and her heighten sense of smell did not help the matter in the slightest. If she didn’t know any better, she could have sworn that it only made it worse. She was of course on the verge of just holding her breath and hoped she doesn’t pass out from not breathing. She gathered that he wouldn’t think much of her if she did just that. She wondered why he smoked such vile things, but she kept that question to herself as she didn’t want to sound like a nagging harpy. When he said that they were cheap but still did their job, she couldn’t help it but hold her nose. ”Cheap, yes. Job done, maybe. But they stink.” she told him as he put the lighter back. She looked away, a bit fearful of what his response to her little comment would be. In Weapon X she would have been punished and beaten for such an outburst…
"Here, a place for you to get away from the kids. I trust you that no other should enter my room besides you."
She heard the whistling of the air as he tossed her the key, and without looking where it was coming from, she raised her hand and caught it. She then brought her hand around to where she could better, and slowly peeled open her hand. She was staring down at a metal toothed key nestled in her palm. Before she could ask him what it was to, he told her. She returned her glaze to him and couldn’t help the small smile that formed on her lips. ”I hardly know anyone here that I can trust fully. Much less anyone that wanted to…what is the word I kept hearing out in the world…’hangout’ with me.” She answered his warning, and looked away a bit. She did not have a normal childhood, and her searching for the right word just now proved it. She was an outcast, a freak among mutants, a socially inept animal. She was raised that way, and being anything else was difficult for her.
"Perhaps only use the Danger room as defense to see how far we can push each one of ya. Repeat it so you guys can gradually learn to gain more and more control. Ya know sometimes best way to get use to people is to look at them from a distance."
Faith only nodded her head in answer to his first statement about the danger room. What more could she offer to it? It was his class after all, and she was just to be a student in it. She heard him take another pull from his cigar, and returned to looking at him just in time to see him blow it away from her. He then told her about getting used to people and she gave him a small sad smile. ”I’ve been looking at people from a distance all my life. I’m still not used to them, it was as if they wanted me this way or something…” She admitted to him and looked away again. She didn’t want him to see her weakened state of sadness. She was raised to be a warrior, a killer after all. What she was feeling at that moment was unbefitting of her ‘conditioned’ nature.
