You can‘t run from what you are You can‘t hide all the pain~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Sky was chasing a few bloodsuckers deeper into the train tunnels of the city. She had been slaying nonstop since she arrived into the city, and she was certain that she was traveling the grapevine of gossip by now for the supernatural world. She didn’t even know if she was making waves elsewhere or what. She was closing the distance between her and her prey, and she withdrew some items that she had acquired recently before throwing them at the vampires’ backs. She watched with satisfaction as they burned up and turned to ash immediately. She approached their remains with a smirk on her face and began to sift through the remains to see if anything was left to lead her to more vampires so that she can slaughter them as well.
Her senses picked up that she wasn’t alone, and her hand reached behind her to grab her sword. She deactivates the mechanism that is hidden in the hilt so that he hand doesn’t get destroyed as she arms herself. She heard their heartbeat, and she stood up slowly. She did not wish to harm this person, and she stood facing away from them. ”The next train is in thirty minutes. Let’s not do it the hard way.” She said in a greeting as she got ready to run in the opposite direction from him. She hoped that this person was not like X as he was indeed a worthy mortal.

Alex wasn’t in the best mood, he had just found Charles attacked and he had just needed to get some fresh air out of the mansion and away from the X men, he had never thought that he would have seen Charles look so weak and helpless, the man that had formed the X men had looked so broken when he had found him and he just wished that he could have done more for him. Sure he had gotten Beast to the mansion but he had been too late to find the guy that had done the attacking and he hadn’t been able to find out what had gone on or why it had done so. He wished that he could have helped Charles more but he hadn’t been fast enough he hadn’t been good enough and now Charles risked losing the use of his legs again because of him, he just hoped that the other man would have forgiven him for the fact that he hadn’t been able to help him to what he needed, he bet that Scott would have been able to do so but there was something about his brother that Alex never could be and this had proven it to Alex.
He had spent most of the day around new York doing nothing but he just wanted to stay out of the way, he had spent most of the morning with Charles but it hadn’t looked like he wasn’t going to wake up any time soon so he had taken that as a sign to leave. Walking down the street he saw a young woman with a sword, allowing his hands to glow he slipped into an offensive position. “Right now I am not in the best mood for sword play,” he said “put it down before someone probably you get’s hurt.”

You can‘t run from what you are You can‘t hide all the pain~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Sky was searching her dark surroundings for escape routes, her vision doesn’t need much light to see in the dark. Granted bright lights hurt her eyes, but then that is why she wears sunglasses when around them. She noticed a sturdy pipe about fifteen feet above her, and a door off to her right. She knew the pipe could hold her weight, and if needed she could jump straight up and grab a hold of it. Then something stopped her from thinking about her escape options further. She quickly noticed the change in the light levels of the tunnel, at first it was only a dull glow coming from behind her and she noticed that it was steadily growing brighter.
“Right now I am not in the best mood for sword play, put it down before someone probably you get’s hurt.”
She smirked and turned around, still keeping a hold of her sword in a non threatening manner. She heard his heartbeat and knew he wasn’t a vampire. ”Sorry Sweetheart, but I’ve been playing with sharp objects since I was five. I’ve only started to use them to defend myself since I was eight. So me getting hurt is a lot less chance of you getting hurt.” She replied and turned her smirk into a grin that showed her pearly whites, but most notably of her teeth would be her elongated fangs. She did not want to fight him, she surely didn’t want to hurt him. She was only trying to do her job, her calling, her passion. Why does everyone want to stop her? Did they not know that she was only trying to make the world safer at night? She suddenly found these intruders tiresome.

As the young woman turned things got a lot more interesting for Alex the fact that she was a vampire was something that had thrown him off because of the fact that he hadn’t fought a vampire before he didn’t even know that they had existed, he had only been willing to fight her because of the fact that she had a sword and the fact that Charles had been stabbed but he supposed that there would have been a number of reasons why Charles could have been stabbed. But he had automatically believed that the woman was to blame for some reason even though she was as guilty as him just she had a sword in her hand and he had automatically assumed that she had been to do with it as she had been in new York with a pointy weapon when in fact there was probably a lot of stabbings in new York a year and knife crime was possibly high he hadn’t been in the city long.
Sighing he tightened his hands turning the plasma energy in the out signifying that he wasn’t going to fight her but he had his powers ready for if he did need them against her because of the fact that there was the chance that he would need to fight her off with the fact that she was a vamp. “How about you stop trying to be buffy and you go home?” he said “there are a lot of creeps and weirdoes around and I doubt that sword would atop most of them.”

You can‘t run from what you are You can‘t hide all the pain~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Sky watched as he turned out his hands, and she in turned she put her sword back into its sheath that was strapped to her back. She was always ready for an attack, as vampires are quick devious creatures. They never gave an indication that they were about to attack you, instead they liked to play mind games in order to confuse you as they got closer. Of course she was immune to their games, and knew what they were trying to do. Her eyes snapped to the darkness behind him, as two more bloodsuckers showed up to the party. Don’t these things ever learn?! She thought to herself as she rolled her eyes.
“How about you stop trying to be buffy and you go home? there are a lot of creeps and weirdoes around and I doubt that sword would atop most of them.”
Her hand quickly withdrew two silver daggers and she threw them toward the vampires that were rushing toward them quietly. The blades hit their mark, and the bloodsuckers began to scream and burn up to be turned to a pile of ash. ”Buffy is nothing compared to me, and if I go home what is going to keep you from being a happy meal? As for the rest, they can do nothing that I can’t handle.” She approached him, her intend to search the piles of vampire ash in hopes of a lead to their nest. ”Do us both a favor, and you go home so I can continue to do my job and duty.” She said as she walked past him.

Alex knew that the woman possibly could have killed him but right now he didn’t care with what had gone on with Charles his anger was racing he was ready to kick anyone’s ass, the fact that she put her sword away was something that proved that he could at least trust her somewhat even if it wasn’t a lot. After all he had only just met this woman and more to the point she was a vampire, he hadn’t met a vampire before and he got the feeling that right now this vampire wasn’t seemingly looking to make friends and he knew that it could be a big problem for him if he didn’t watch out for himself.
When she threw two daggers and killed a couple of vampires he had been surprised by it but to the same point she had better reflexes than himself., opening his hands fully he filled the room in cosmic energy, he didn’t know how it would affect her but he knew that it would make it easier to find any other vampires. As one rushed at him he turned the full energy at the vamp turning it to flames and continuing to burn it until it stopped screaming and rolling around.
“I think I am pretty safe myself,” he said dryly.

You can‘t run from what you are You can‘t hide all the pain~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Sky had to wince when he brightened up the chamber. The light was nearly blinding to her sensitive sight, and she had to quickly put on her shades to save her sight from the light. He had just alerted to the hiding vampires that were in the tunnel that a free meal had just waltz on in, and she rolled her eyes behind her dark glasses that she was going to have to save him as well. Why did she always have to get one where ever she went? Another annoying thing she could add to her list of why she was better off without humans.
“I think I am pretty safe myself,”
The daywalker rolled her eyes as she saw him…beam?…the vampire that had tried to attack the human from the shadows. Great, another person who thinks they can hunt vampires. Just what I freaking need. I wish Dad were here, he would know how to handle this mortal. She thought to herself, and quickly threw silver stakes at the four vampires that tried to ambush them from behind, causing them to ash and burn up. ”Listen van Helsing wannabe. Go home and let the ones who know what they are doing handle this. Before you get yourself or someone else killed or worse.” She replied just as dryly, and then turned to go further into the tunnel. She needed to exterminate this nest, and she knew there were still a few more left. As she had yet to find the leader of this group, and from experiences and what her dad had told her they were the most difficult to take out.
