Shiro landed in a alley on the south side of a modern high rise condominium. Knowing it would be more than troublesome if he brought attention to himself in a city known for its large number of heroes. Walking toward the entrance he thought of how his family had consolidated their power by moving outside of their islands small borders. By buying real estate in a number of locales helped increase the Yoshida families wealth and provided fantastic safe houses when on foreign soil like the flame wielders. Any unused locale were kept in pristine condition. In Shiro's case there was a room provided to the his family that was kept to the highest standard. He entered the building and walked up to the front desk. "Excuse me I'm here to pick up my key." Shiro looked at the women of Central Asian descent possibly one of the Slavic satellite nation of the former Soviet Union behind the furnished wood. When she looked up recognition seemed to cross her features and she quickly went about the task asked of her. "Mr. Yoshida here are your keys its two floors up and on your right. If there is anything you need do not hesitate to ask" Shiro nodded his head and left for the stairs (always do what I can to keep in shape) apparently the Yoshida clan was more influential than he thought.
As Shiro entered the room he noticed a red haired man pass him and continue upstairs ignoring it Shiro turned the nob and entered the room. To say he was impressed would be an understatement the room made the word opulent seemed to lowly of a description. Deciding to forgo the walk-through since he was sure of what was already provided instead he picked up the phone attached a device from his pocket , prevent interference or tracing of the phone call, and contacted his superior."
Now was the moment that he was dreading, he had to report what happened. Hopefully he would be two viciously reprimanded however this mission was for redemption in the first place so he didn't have any hopes. "Hello, Agent 9 what is the status of you mission" said a calm tone over the receiver. "Sir, the professor accused us of making a militant group and refused me as both an foreign instructor and inspector for our nation. It became quite heated and we've lost all ability for reconciliation." Shiro waited with baited breath for what would happen next. "Once again you fail, I'm sure your short temper was the cause of the break down in communication. Well we have no use for someone with you obvious lack of communication skills in the special task force." Shiro blood ran cold, thoughts of his families dishonor, his lost to his sister, and where his life would go from here flowed through his mind. "However, this is still something you can do, act as our mascot, show the United States that Japan has its own stockpile of super heroes. This is your last chance learn to control your temper, gain greater control of your powers, and prove that you can be something Japan is proud of." "Thank you, this opportunity will not be wasted, what should i call myself?" Shiro face gained a determine edge he could not lose focus, he had a mission and he needed to maintain the composure of a warrior to accomplish it. "Use the uniform that was provided to you for infiltration and your code name shall be changed to Sunfire." "I will be sending a diplomat to Washington to discuss your position in the United States. Wait until you hear back from me, if you take any action justified or not in New York we will have to discontinue further contact." Shiro understood the stakes and gave a short affirmation to what was said hanging up the phone and relaxing into a chair in the entertainment area. He would have to distance himself from the mutant academy possibly mutants in general. Either way it was a new day, he looked around the room, and a new home.
With all that had happened relaxation was key and for Shiro performing all the martial skills that were drilled into him from youth was the best means of releasing tension. walking into his bedroom and opening the closet he was unsurprised to find professional attire, for both civilian and super hero (cough) work, reaching past the clothing he pulled out a katana reaching. The workmanship was exquisite with a leather bound handle tempered steel cross guard and a blade extending the distance from his abdomen to his feet. A smile crossed his face, this type of blade was purely for himself. He was the only member of his family to use the modified blade folded steel hefting the weight and placing the blade on his back Shiro made his way to the roof. As he climbed the stairs all he could think of was which style to begin with first. Who knows maybe he could find out what direction to go from up there.
