You're never gonna be alone from this moment on If you ever feel like letting, I won't let you fall~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The blond haired hero walked down the sidewalk, taking the sights of home. She had been gone with Reed for months in an attempt to save Tony Stark’s life, and she found it a bit challenging. She even thought it a bit relaxing and found it strengthened their marriage, as they seemed to find it useful for the progress of Stark’s condition when they…er…um…well too much details would spoil the fun. However she thought she might have come down with something during her absence, as she had woken up queasy and a bit sick to her stomach. Nothing but saltine crackers and ginger ale wouldn’t fix. She had woken up that morning and made up her mind to finally find her brother. She had been back for a few days, and when she thought she could handle him and talk calmly with him about where she had been.
Sue so far has searched nearly the entire city. She only had one borough left to search, so she hoped she would find him there. So she waltzed right on into the place. The smells unsettled her stomach again, and she placed her hand on her belly and doubled over slightly. The scents were nauseating, and so rancid they nearly stopped her in her tracks. She had no idea just how sick she was until that moment, and she suddenly had the urge to just head back to the Baxter Building. She turned around to walk back the way she came, but another smell whiffed up her nostrils that only made her double over some more. She suddenly had the need to crawl back into bed and sleep through whatever it was she had, but looking up at the skyscrapers of Manhattan only made her dizzy. Instead, she reached out a hand and steadied herself against the nearest building hoping that this wave of nausea and dizziness would pass.

Now that the world isn’t ending, its love that I’m sending to you. It isn’t the love of a hero, and that’s why I fear it won’t do. And they say that a hero can save us. I’m not gonna stand here and wait. I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles. Watch as we all fly away.. ---------------------------- Johnny wasn’t in a good mood, Sue was away which of course made him think of everything that could have happened whilst his sister was on holiday and why he had spent most of the time worrying that she was ok and trying to make sure that everything was fine, not something that Johnny had wanted to spend the time doing but at the same time he knew that if he wasn’t thinking about it or worrying then if something went wrong he would have no plan of action and everything would fall apart. Not that he needed Sue to keep everything in order but she did seem pretty good at it.
When he had gotten up that morning he had been surprised to see that there was a letter from a prison, one addressed to himself and one addressed to Sue, he had been wary of the fact that it could have been from anyone that they had put away and he had almost wished that it had been. The letter as it had turned out had been from his father, he had rejected the over powering urge of burning the letter upon starting to read it and had actually read what the man had to say for himself. The man that had caused Sue to basically become a mother as a pre teen to himself, sure they had lived with their aunt but it had been Sue that had raised him.
Johnny had constantly said to Sue that he didn’t want anything to do with the man and that he never wanted to see him again, yet his father had written to him saying that he wanted to see him and that he hoped Johnny would forgive him for what he had done. Johnny had since burned the letter, grabbed his jacket and headed to the nearest open bar that he could find, regardless of the fact that he had spent the last couple of weeks trying to get away from being addicted to alcohol right now he really didn’t care. Walking into the first bar he saw he walked inside and sat at the bar and waited for someone to take his order. ---------------------------- Lyrics: Nickelback – Hero Credit: Sammy Tag: None

That was the one thing about coming back home; all of your problems were still there waiting for you. Alison had recently come back home from her stay in LA and it was all very bitter sweet. She was happy to see her friends and family again, but at the same time she found that nothing had really changed and she was back in the same rut she was in before. But not tonight, tonight Alison was going to have fun, be young, and just be happy with a drama free night. She was out with some of the other girls from the modeling agency she was signed to and it was a night full of dancing, drinking, and just having fun. The group of attractive girls took up a booth towards the back and every so often they would slip over to the bar to get some drinks or out on the dance floor to swing along with each other. Alison finished up another drink that she had ordered, then took a look around the bar, trying to spot one of the girls from her group. To her surprise, she didn’t find the missing girl from the group, but instead spotted someone else from her past. Johnny Storm, an ex with a lot of history. This was silly, her and Johnny were friends now and New York may be a big city, but there was no denying that the two were bound to keep running into each other. Alison smiled and excused herself from her group of friends and walked over to Johnny, right behind him where he couldn’t see her. “Hey good-lookin’.” She said in a sing song voice, as she wrapped her arms around him and rest her head on his shoulder, trying to pretend like she was a random stranger or a crazy fan. Johnny always had his fans throwing themselves at him, so she figured that he would have got a laugh riot out of this. “Come here often?” Alison peeked around at his face, laughing just a bit to show him that it was in fact her, but when she looked at his face, he didn’t look all that happy. “Johnny? What’s wrong? You okay?”-------------------------- Outfit: THIS

You're never gonna be alone from this moment on If you ever feel like letting, I won't let you fall~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Sue leaned against the building for what seemed like forever, and when she thought she could handle the sickness feeling she stood straight up. Her vision swam before her, and she felt very light headed. Okay, there was no way she was going to be able to make it home on her own steam. She needed to call her brother or Ben to come and get her, and she knew she couldn’t walk very far to a phone. She closed her eyes and took some deep steady breaths, and then opened then back up. Her vision was better, but still not right. She could make out what she needed to, but that was it. She couldn’t believe her luck when she realized that she was literally around the corner from a bar. She somehow managed to stagger her way inside, and up to the bar.
Her vision was swimming in front of her again and her stomach felt like it was going to force it’s way up her throat. She couldn’t make out how many people were inside, much less who they were. What she didn’t know was that she was deathly pale and she had sweat beading on her skin. She placed both hands on the counter in front of her to keep herself steady as she tried to focus on a large blurry figure behind it. ”I need to use your phone…” She managed before her eyes rolled to the back of her head, and she fell directly to the floor. She laid there prone as the patrons jumped to their feet and shouted at the others to call 9-1-1. Those that were shouting were trying their best to revive her, but they just couldn’t do it. What she didn’t know was that her current state was causing such a commotion that people walking along the sidewalk was slowing down and staring inside at her…

I’m not gonna stand here and wait. I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles. Watch as we all fly away.. ---------------------------- Johnny had ordered a drink when he felt soft arms wrap around him and an oh so familiar voice come to his ears. Alison Blaire, ex girlfriend, mutant and all round sweetheart that he had always seemed to hide the problems that he had in his life from. Only because of the fact that he didn’t want to fill her life with the crap that he had to put up with and the fact that Alison was a kind young woman that didn’t seem to not want to help him, that had been why they had broken up the lies and the secrets that he had told her and kept from her had made it so bad for them that they couldn’t bare being together anymore, from his standpoint anyway, she probably just got sick of him being a drunk jackass.
“It’s been a long and suck ass day.” He said evenly not caring that he could tell her some things and not others, simply because of the fact that there was some things that he would say to her and other things that he wouldn’t because of the level of secrets that where held between the two and what was going on. “My dad wrote to me.” He said deciding to be honest with her. At the sound of someone falling Johnny turned around presuming to find that it was someone that was drunk. He was surprised to see that they had some very familiar features.
“That looks like Suzie.” He said quickly before moving through the crowd to the woman that he believed to be his sister sure that Alison would follow him but didn’t check to look. Getting to the woman he wasn’t surprised to see that he was right and it was Sue. Kneeling next to her he cupped her head. “Come on Suzie open your eyes for me.” ---------------------------- Lyrics: Nickelback – Hero Credit: Sammy Tag: None

Alison hated seeing Johnny so upset, he normally was an easy going guy and not much really brought him down. Alison knew that when something upset his family or someone really close to him, he would get upset so she couldn’t help but wonder what it could be. They may not have been together as a couple anymore, but that didn’t mean she cared for him any less. Alison took a seat in the open chair that was beside his and looked over to him, waiting to see what he had to see. After he spoke, Alison nodded and kept on listening. Bad days were one thing and maybe all Johnny needed was a good friend, someone to listen to him. But he had Sue and Reed, even Ben, so why was he here all alone? For a moment, Alison thought it might be deeper then he was letting on, but she didn’t want to force Johnny to do something he didn’t want to do. A moment later, Johnny confided in Alison the real reason why he was upset, and Alison responded with a sympathetic smile. “Aww, Johnny I-“ But before she could finish, the sounds coming over from the group of people not too far from them caught her attention and she quickly looked over, trying to see what was going on. “I wonder what’s going on…” Alison said to herself, noticing that it had also caught Johnny’s attention as well. Almost as if someone lit a fire under him, Johnny sprang up and dashed over to the group. “Suzie? Your sister?” Alison asked, but it was far too late, Johnny was long gone. She quickly followed behind him and looked down to the woman that everyone was crowding around. It was in fact Susan, his sister and Alison stood over Johnny and her, giving Susan a quick glance over. “Oh my God, is she okay Johnny?”

You're never gonna be alone from this moment on If you ever feel like letting, I won't let you fall~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Sue was of course not completely out cold, but she seemed to be floating between that state and one of being incoherent. She did not know what was going on around her, but she had a deep seeded feeling that it was bad. Very, very bad. Almost like her brother going super-nova without precautions. Not a good thing on anyone’s list. She didn’t know her skin was still pale and wet, or her breathing was starting to become a bit shallow. These were not good signs for anyone, and they should have set alarm bells off in someone’s head. She didn’t hear anyone approach her, nor did she hear the crowd give way to them. What connected her back to consciousness was that someone was cradling the back of her head, and that was just enough to force her back toward alertness.
”Come on Suzie open your eyes for me.”
The blond managed to open her eyes, and quickly look at the two figures that were over her in her line of sight. Of course it was her brother, as he was the only one she would allow to call her Suzie, and then his ex-girlfriend, Alison Blaire behind him. The other younger woman seemed to be looking her over, and she thought she saw worry in their faces and eyes. She reached out a hand to lay it on her brother’s arm as if she was about to deviler some troublesome news. ”Johnny… I don’t feel well…” She told him a hit breathless, and closed her eyes again as her vision continued to swim before her. She subconsciously gripped his arm in a weak hold as she did, and she suddenly wished she was home in bed. Preferably with Reed, but she didn’t think he was back yet as she had left him and Stark to work on the finishing touches of their project to save Stark’s life. She felt she needed to keep an eye on Johnny to prevent him from doing something foolish in her absence.

I’m not gonna stand here and wait. I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles. Watch as we all fly away.. ---------------------------- Johnny heard Alison speak to him but his more primary concern was Sue and making sure that his sister was ok, he didn’t know what had happened to her but the fact that she was currently Reedless meant that there was something wrong, at least in Johnny’s eyes anyway. He just wanted to see some movement from his sister so that he could work out if she was ok, nothing else mattered now he just wanted to ensure that she was ok, after that he didn’t give a damn what was going on. He knew that it wasnt like Sue to be sick for no reason which meant that there must have been something else behind it. Turning to Alison he spoke.
“Can you get an ambulance or something?” he said noticing and some people realised who she was “and try not to draw too much attention to yourself.” He knew that he could have been seen a slightly rude with how he spoken to her but looking at her he smiled softly indicating that he was just stressed that Sue was hurt and that he hadn’t meant to snap at her. As Sue opened her eyes Johnny lifted her with ease, he knew that she was in pain and sick and that a bar was so not the best place for her right now.
“We’ll get you to a hospital ok?” he said “and then we’ll find out what’s wrong.” ---------------------------- Lyrics: Nickelback – Hero Credit: Sammy Tag: None

Alison quickly nodded as Johnny spoke, but found it almost next to impossible when he asked her not to bring attention to herself. They were a group of well known heroes inside of a crowded bar where one of them had just passed out. The idea that someone had passed out alone was enough to bring them attention but how did Johnny expect her not to? It was a silly request, but Alison took out her cell phone and called the emergency number where she told them what had happened and where they were. They quickly responded and said they were sending an ambulance right away and Alison was told to stay on the phone until the ambulance arrived. “Johnny, the ambulance is on its way. How is Sue? Is she responsive?” Alison said trying to look over his shoulder to see how well Sue looked. What had happened to Sue? It was a while since Alison last spoke to her, but she knew how closer her and Johnny were. She didn’t hear about thing about her being sick, Johnny normally confided in her about everything, but the truth was he didn’t have to anymore. They sirens from the ambulance could be heard outside and Alison looked back over to Johnny. “I think they’re here.”

You're never gonna be alone from this moment on If you ever feel like letting, I won't let you fall~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Sue heard her brother ask Alison to get her help and the tell her in what seemed to be a bit rude to her ears that she try to draw attention to herself. She wanted to chastise him to not be rude to the girl, just like she had done when they were kids and he didn’t mind his manners. But she didn’t have the energy or focus for that at them moment, and made a mental note to talk to him later about it. She then felt Johnny pick her up easily, and she rested her head on his shoulder. She couldn’t seem to hold it up without tiring out.
”We’ll get you to a hospital ok? and then we’ll find out what’s wrong.”
The blond nodded her head and smiled weakly at her brother and the young woman with them. She heard the girl call for an ambulance, and then ask how she was and if she was responsive. ”Yes, I’m responsive…only a bit. Doesn’t mean I don’t know what is going on around me.” She responded to Alison, not as harsh as she thought her brother had earlier and cracked a very weak smile at her. She soon heard the sirens from an emergency vehicle stop outside of the bar.
”I think they’re here.”
Sue managed to open her eyes once again and looked up at her brother. ”It sounds like it as well.” She added and then moved her hand on her stomach and moaned. Her vision began swimming once more before her eyes, and she ended up closing them again. She then shot them back open as something occurred to her, and she was not going to hear the end of it if she let it slide her mind. ”Someone should call Reed…” She felt her hand searching for her cell phone, before she realized that she left it in her previously rented motel room.

“Let’s get you to a hospital then we can worry about Reed.” Johnny said when one of the paramedic’s tried to take Sue from Johnny he simply glared and growled at the man which caused him to back off. “I’ll carry her” he said before jerking his head at Alison inferring that he would like her to go with him, walking outside a paramedic woman was standing by a gurney, placing Sue on it he turned to Alison.
“Wanna come with us?” he said “I am crap with hospitals.” ---------------------------- Lyrics: Nickelback – Hero Credit: Sammy Tag: None

As Johnny carried her, a memory came to Sue from their younger days when they would look out for each other. The two of them had snuck out of the house and away from their aunt’s watchful glaze. The older woman didn’t like it when the two Storm children went outside to play in the wilderness. The two of them wondered over to an old train yard that wasn’t used any more and started to play, like the type their aunt disapproved of. They frolicked among the old tracks, and she lost her footing and fell. Her knee was skinned pretty badly, and Johnny easily picked her up and carried her home. And the way he was carrying her now was just the same way he had carried he all those years ago.
“Let’s get you to a hospital then we can worry about Reed. I’ll carry her”
The blond nodded her head, knowing that he would take care of telling her husband. ”You know how Reed worries over me…” She whimpered, and smiled weakly as she heard her brother literally growl at someone, and gathered that they had tried to take her from him. She had already closed her eyes to keep her vision from swimming before her. Soon he had put her down on what she knew was a gurney. She heard him ask Alison to come, and how much he hated hospitals.
Sue heard the other girl said she would go, and smiled as she knew that Johnny would be okay. ”Don’t forget to call Reed. And Alison, make sure he doesn’t burn the place the down in worry.” She said in barely above a whisper.
