Steve stands 6’4 inches tall and 250 of muscle, because of the super soldier serum and the fact that he was in suspended animation Steve doesn’t look older than his mid to early thirties. Steve is an extremely muscular and works out a lot. Steve has bright blue eyes which are normally full of laughter, however they can be known to be quite scary if he gets mad, Steve has recently put green contacts in his eyes to greater hide his identity. Steve has also got short brown hair, he has dyed his hair and cut it after being brought back from suspended animation to hide his identity from the previous longer blonde hair. Steve normally wears just a pair of jeans and a t shirt, he is not one for going for an out of the ordinary.

Steve is an extremely smart and caring person which was what caused him to agree to becoming Captain America, Steve is also extremely loyal and even when the war looked bleak for the Americans Steve would not second guess his superiors as he trusted them and he knew that they would know what they were doing, Steve is also very confident since he has become captain America and therefore can be seen as quite confident and flirting around women especially since he has been brought forward in time.
Considerate: If Steve thinks that something he has said or done has offended someone he will apologise for it as he does not want to upset people because of what he has said or done. This is often because of a joke that he has told which has been taken the wrong way or something else that he has said. He will honestly apologise if he has offended someone or gone to far.
Kind: Steve will look after his friends and family to the best of his ability but he is also kind to practically strangers who need him for something. He will not hesitate in pointing someone in the right direction or helping with something if they ask for his help.
Trustworthy: Steve is someone that if you have a secret or something you need to go to someone with it can be rest assured that Steve will help in whatever way is needed. Whether that be keeping a secret, helping them get over an addiction or just being someone for them to talk to Steve is willing to do all of these things for people.
Fragile: Steve suffers from PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) from after the war and he is not yet compelely comfortable with the world that he is in because of the fact that he is years out of his comfort zone and he does not really know where he fits into this new world.
Stubborn and Loyal: Steve is also very set in his ways, despite the fact that he does not like the government right now because of their actions he will not openly attack like the brotherhood would or any individual villain or terrorist, he would look for more peaceful means to deal with problems then resulting in blood shed, despite what is believed of him because of the fact that he is a war hero. This can lead to arguments with people believing him to be something that he is not.

Steve was one of the first humans who were injected with the Super Soldier Serum (SSS). As a result, it has enhanced all of his physical attributes to be the best they can be.
- Peak Human Strength; Fully rested, Steve has the strength of an Olympic athlete. He can bench press 1,100lbs, curl 500lbs, and overhead press 800lbs.
- Peak Human Speed; Steve can run at a speed of 30mph for up to an hour and a half without showing signs of exhaustion. When pushed, this speed can increase to up to 60mph, but he can only sprint for around a minute at this speed.
- Peak Human Agility; From a standing start, Steve can jump 20 feet into the air. He is extremely dexterous and has top notch balance as well. His reflexes are also honed to the point that he can dodge gunfire, even at close range.
- Peak Human Senses; Steve’s senses of touch, taste, sound, hearing and scent are all the best they can possibly be without being considered superhuman.
- Peak Human Durability; Because his bones and muscles are now far stronger than before, Steve can withstand more punishment than a normal human, and can do so with only minor discomfort.
- Peak Human Healing; Due to the fact that his white blood cells are also more durable than the average human’s, they can fight off hostile microbes quicker and more efficiently than usual, thus, healing Steve faster.
- Peak Human Mental Processing; Steve has perfect recall and an eidetic memory, meaning that if something happens, no matter how minor, he never forgets it. His mental processing is so efficient that he can identify and counter threats in the space of a few seconds, even in the middle of a fight.
Even though Steve has a stronger body than most he is killable, his skin can be broken by a strong metal for example Adamantium. Steve is also susceptible to mental invasion if the telepath is strong enough and he is distracted or harmed enough for the telepath to have an easier path to his mind. Steve also suffers from slight PTSD from the war and has nightmares of watching innocents die as well as believing Bucky to be dead.
In addition to the powers the SSS granted him, Steve has a number of abilities that do not count as superhuman.
- Master Martial Artist; Steve is well trained in boxing, ju jitsu, judo, wushu and historical fencing. He is also well known for his proficiency using a shield, both in offensive and defensive manoeuvres, as well as the ability to throw it and catch it like a boomerang. Whilst he does not usually compliment his shield techniques with a weapon, he is capable of using a variety of blunt and bladed weapons when the situation calls for it.
- Expert Marksman; Whilst he is not on the level of a few others, Steve has had practise with, and is adept at using, a range of projectile weaponry. It is not his style to use firearms, but he can if pressed to do so.
- Master Strategist; Steve’s long years of military training and his experience in battle make him a master of tactics and strategies. His enhanced mind can process viable solutions to problems extremely quickly, and his analytical thinking means that he is ready for almost any situation. He is also well versed in almost any system of military operations, including decoding ciphers, demolitions and survival amongst others.
- Multiligual; Steve can speak German, Russian, Japanese and Italian fluently, in addition to English.
- Skilled Artist; It may not be his chosen career, but Steve has natural artistic talent – one that he both enjoys and practises in his spare time. He occasionally freelances as an illustrator for publications when there is nothing else for him to do.

Steve Rogers was born to two Irish settlers who had moved to America in the early 20th century. From a young age Rogers was a small and frail child because of the fact that his parents did not have a lot of money. Things became worse with the wall street crash and depression that fell across America which caused large amounts of people to die from starvation, with there, simply not being enough money or food for people to be able to eat. Steve’s father died when he was 11, his father had been working in a factory to try to gain money for the family when part of the roofing which had been loose collapsed due to the poor structure of the building which killed his father and some other workers.
Then Steve and his mother moved in with his mother’s sister, however she quickly fell ill when Steve was in his late teens with pneumonia and died. This caused Steve to very much be on his own although he was living with his aunt. After the outbreak of WW2 Steve was shocked and disgusted at what was broadcast through the American media and decided that he would enrol in the armed forces despite not being in the physical condition that was required to be an army soldier. Although Steve was rejected he begged and pleaded with the chance of being part of the armed forces and to help the people who had been on the receiving end of the Chinese forces brutality. this was heard by army General Chester Phillips who offered Steve a chance to be part of the project rebirth experiment which was a American attempt to make a super soldier under Joseph Reinstein.
After weeks of gruelling tests and physical examinations Steve was chosen to have the serum tested on, as well have having radiation pumped into his body. After the test was complete Rogers emerged with the perfect physical physique. However a German spy had been present in the room and killed Reinstein after the test when it was discovered that the serum worked. Rogers then chased the spy who committed suicide, which left Rogers the only person with the formula in his body as no one knew how to replicate it at the time. Rogers was then told that his first mission would be to remove the German officer the red skull, to do this he was given his own red white and blue costume as well as his trademark shield.
After battling the red skull, Captain America’s attention turned to the war where with his allies he fought the German forces. On the 18th of April 1945 Steve fought baron Zemo and attempted to stop a bomb loaded drop plane, Steve flew the ship into the artic and was believed to have perished. However years later Steve’s body was recovered and sent to the American government; however it was agreed that captain America would be kept in suspended animation until they needed him again. Steve was reanimated after the creation of the mutant registration act as they wished to use Steve to arrest those who would not comply and also as someone others would follow to sign the act with that if captain America signed it others would, however Steve refused stating that the acts of the government had been similar to that of the Nazi’s and how they treated the Jewish people because they were different. Steve escaped and went into hiding, Steve then dyed his hair from the natural blonde to light brown and got green contacts for his eyes so that he could hide his true identity.
