Syrah is a beautiful woman with long dark hair , cobalt-blue eyes and olive skin. However, it is capable of changing her appearance at will, sometimes in a terrible way especially when feels anger and frustration then her beauty fades .

Is a woman famous for her quiet nature , is very wise and is able to impose her will make her opinion be heard without too much efforts and often her advice is well accepted in the court of Odin. Her loyalty and devotion are for Asgard and the Father of the Gods and his Queen , Odin and Frigga, but Syrah's feelings makes a woman capable of unexpected and unpredictable things allying or protecting what she believes is worth to fight for. Has a quiet and charismatic behavior and even if it seems impossible to make her angry, when this happens, you better run away before she manages to show the darker nature of a Naiad.
Although Asgardian women are warriors , and like many Syrah has received a training and is a superb opponent and warrior , her nature is not inclined to harm any living being except if because threatened or forced to do so. She fought alongside Thor several times but is not so eager to be involved in new battles like is the son of Odin. Is now again at his side and this time to help him to bring back Loki to Asgard , Syrah had offered her help to Thor time before the Queen Frigga sought her help praying to not see Loki killed by his mad and destructive purposes .

Syrah is a demigoddess and belongs to the ancient lineage of the Naiads, nymphs lovers of gods and mortals. As such, Syrah is capable of dominating natural elements, mainly water or any other type of liquid. Like all the Naiads is also capable of using telepathy, sending or receiving thoughts, control people minds and create illusions. In the past, her race was feared to be among the most deceptive and ruthless, humans often confused the Naiads with the Banshees for some unrivaled features such as changing their beautiful appearance and appear like terrible demons but only when threatened. She's a daughter of Asgard , born and raised in the magical realm after her family decided to leave Alfheim realm of the Light Elves. Growing up in a lush land and home of the most loved and feared heroes has received the honor of a training as a warrior, however keeping the noble and graceful qualities of her people. Syrah is an intelligent woman who loves nature and tranquility, attends often the court of Odin and is a very estimated member . Has always observed the events at court in silence and has always served the father of the Gods sometimes dispensing sage advices like her parents did in past during the battle against the Frost Giants.
Syrah is currently more a sort of ambassador than a warrior but always ready to defend her kingdom and ready to sacrifice her own life for it. Often fighting alongside the sons of Odin, Thor and Loki was very fond of both along with other comrades like the goddess Sif and the warrior Fandral. However, when was a child always had a special affection for Thor half-brother , Loki, but silent about her feelings and watching him from a distance. When the realm was upset by Loki's treachery , Syrah suffers more than the others mostly for her disbelief before Loki's betrayal, but this leads her to investigate. After discovering the true origins of Loki and have confirm from Thor and Odin himself she seems to change her mind about something and not sure to know who is worth to fighting for. However, she still lives in Asgard and is still serving the father of the Gods.
Unlike many other Gods , Syrah is not particularly fascinated by the human race because considers their nature like hostile and destructive but has often joined in protecting the Earth, sometimes allying with S.H.I.E.L.D. but only in the name of her old friendship with the son of Odin and often in the attempt to help him to make Loki change his mind when sure he was involved with fool plans of destruction.
Syrah's purpose is to protect life but not necessarily that of humans, rather than the Earth ecosystem now threatened precisely because of human greed.
