Natasha is about five feet six inches tall and weighs about one hundred and fifteen pounds. She is thin, muscular from the constant work out and being a spy. She has short, red curly hair that falls just below her ears. She keeps it neat, even while on missions. Her eyes are almond shaped and they are brown. Nat usually wears clothes that fit the mission, like a cocktail dress or something fancy for parties, or when she was working for Tony Stark, she wore nice business clothes. When she fights, Nat usually wears a navy blue cat suit like outfit with her stunning bracelets. She also wears a gun on her at all times. She usually wears gloves over her hands that leave her fingers open. She also wears boots while she is in her fighting outfit.

Natasha Romanoff may look like she is all tough and all work and no play but she does have a good heart. Nat loves to help people, and after her past, she doesn’t want to return to that kind of a life. Natasha is also a quick thinker, and a dare devil of sorts. She takes risks and can be very stubborn. She is also strong willed and determined. She does have a guilty conscious over what she had done in the past, when she was a spy for the soviets. She is a strong fighter and doesn’t give up with out a fight. She is grateful and shows a certain kindness for Hawkeye who had saved her from her life.

Black Widow is a world class gymnast, and an expert martial artist which includes Karate, Judo, Aikido, Savate and various styles of Kung Fu and Boxing. She is an excellent marksman, and weapons specialist. Nat is also has extensive espionage training. Another thing not known is that she is an accomplished ballerina.
Natasha uses a variety of equipment invented by Soviets scientists and technicians and it was later improved by SHIELD. She uses her bracelets which fire the Widow’s bite electro static energy blasts that can devilver charges up to 30,000 volts as well as Widow’s line grappling hooks.
Natasha has been enhance by biotechnology that makes her body resistant to aging and disease and heals at an above human rate.

Natasha was born in Stalingrad, which is now Volgograd, Russia. Little is known about her past, except that she is a Soviet agent trained as a spy, martial artist and sniper who was outfitted with an aarsenal of high tech weaponry including her bracelets and that her parents died in a fire when she was young and that she was saved from death by Ivan Petrovitch who raised her as a surrogate father. Romanova eventually defects to the US because of Hawkeye, who was sent to kill her but recruited her instead. She changed her name to Natasha Romanoff and she started working for SHIELD as the Black Widow. It is also mentioned that she and Hawkeye go on a mission in Budapest, but they both have different versions of it.
Natasha started working as Pepper Pott’s assistant in Iron Man 2 under the name of Natalie Rushman. She is later revealed as Black Widow or Natasha Romanoff. Nat helps Iron man try to get Ivan Vanko, and with her help and the help of Agent Coulson and Rhodes, they defeat Vanko.
Natasha continued to work for SHIELD and she is sent to Calcutta, India to recruit Bruce Banner to help get the Tesseract back.
