Maya is shy of reaching the 6'0 mark, as she is 5' 9". Her overall weight is 125 pounds, give or take and her eyes are brown, complimenting her lengthy light brown / dark brown hair. It is usually pulled away from her face, or it is styled to her liking while in her civilian form. Her style in clothing is whatever suits her fancy, or if it is convenient. As Echo, her hair is pulled off her shoulders, forming a messy-like style with a few black feathers tucked in. She mostly sports an all black attire, and her arms are bandaged with a few feathers tucked in at the top as well. Lastly, a bloody and hand-shaped warpaint print remains on the right side of her face to complete her look as echo.

While she is unable to hear, she doesn't want her deafness to ultimately define her, despite it limiting her at times with vulnerability. So, Maya will stubbornly cling onto a goal to accomplish things alike everyone else. She has a sense of pride, after all. Not to mention, Maya likes being independent. However, if she needs help, she will eventually have to accept the idea. Aside from all of this, she has a "interesting" sense of humor and sometimes it is observant; spontaneous and maybe even dry. All of her mannerisms are apart of her charm.

[Photographic Reflexes] Maya is capable of duplicating any physical movement or action she sees with perfection, after watching it being performed only once. She is a master martial artist, master acrobat and expert marksmen. In fact, she is also multilingual and is extremely proficient with weapons. Her skill set only continues to grow.
[Weaknesses] She is not able to duplicate an ability or skill with superhuman effort, and she still has all of the natural limitations of an ordinary human. With that said, Maya has to solely rely on her eyesight in order to duplicate new things, in complete darkness she is vulnerable. Since she is deaf, she reads the lips of others and that communication process is hindered by masks or something covering the lips.
[Weaponry] Her go to collection: Billy clubs, handguns, poisoned darts, shuriken, katanas and other bladed weapons of Japanese design. If she is in a bind, she can usually make weapons.

It is not sure where she spent the majority of time growing up, and her story is a bit complicated. Her father is none other then Willie "Crazy Horse" Licoln, a secret Mob enforcer working for the Kingpin. His nickname, "Crazy Horse," was given to him because of his Indian heritage. As well as for his sanity becoming ever distant from him as the days rolled onward at times. Maya doesn't remember a lot of details about her mother, because she left the picture while she was still young. It is supposed that she left to get away from her father, due to his madness. Aside from establishing who her parents are, Maya was born deaf and it is a key part of her. She was placed in special education, due to being judged as "slow" but she eventually proved to have an amazing "gift." Of which molded her life from there, and onward. After seeing a pianist perform for the first time, Maya was able to duplicate every note from start to finish, once she was in front of a piano, herself. A first hint to a photographic reflex.
She soon left the special education class, to be placed in a gifted section. Life seemed happy and simple at that point, being just a little girl entangled in the things she liked such as the arts. As well as being taken care of, by her father. That is, until he was murdered by the Kingpin's orders and while her father was dying, he left a bloody hand print on her face. This turn in events marks the point in time where Fisk decidedly takes the young girl in, to raise in New York. Maya also has no idea that Fisk is directly responsible for issuing the order to kill her father, but because of his influence she is able to become very talented in many artistic fields. For example, she was sent to the best schools available, no matter the cost or location.Over the years, Fisk more then noted Maya's reflexes to master anything she captures just once, and so he hatched a plan. He would get rid of Daredevil by using Maya, going so far as to tell her that Daredevil killed her father.
Maya then watched a healthy amount of footage with Bullseye to master all of his techniques, as well as observing Daredevil. Not to mention picking up all sorts of martial arts along the way from different films, too. She created an identity known as "Echo" because of the way she could copy things she manages to see, just once, and went after Daredevil. During her fight with the Daredevil, a real kicker happened. Maya discovered his identity and that Fisk had lied to her, about who killed her father. Filled with rage, she left the fight and confronted Fisk to fight him, before she left that fight as well. Lately at her current age, Maya is solo within New York City, trying to be a hero in the guise of "Echo." With a bloody hand print across her face, right along the location of where her father had once touched her face, while dying. Even though she hasn't been involved in battles, alike the Avengers, perhaps that may change soon. Who knows? In her civilian life, she supports herself, by being a performance artist that rakes in a good amount of money.
