Unlike his green counterpart, Bruce stands a mere 5'9 and weighs about 150lbs. His hair brown and slightly curly. His eyes are also brown and once in awhile, he is spotted with glasses. On the outside, he looks like your average scientist and even has somewhat of a calm aire about him.

As the Hulk, he grows to 8 feet and is over a thousand pounds. His skin is a green color, as are his eyes, in this form.

With a genius level intellect, Bruce is a reserved and shy person.

He tries so hard to keep a positive front. Despite this, he is rather depressed about what he becomes when enraged. Ashamed of what he becomes, he did spend a long time searching for a cure, hoping he would stop becoming the green monster that consumes him when enraged.

Bruce has been able to supress the monster within him for long periods of time though. His secret? He is always angry. By always being angry about something, he keeps his adrenaline at a constant level, so there are less huge dangerous spikes when tensions are high. He hasn't mastered full controll over the beast and doesn't think he ever will. He also hasn't fully embraced it yet either and still hopes to be cured one day.

As the Hulk, his intellect falls dramatically to an almost childlike intellect. His temper can't be controlled and sometimes may even have problems distinguishing friend from foe which makes him even more of a danger.

Incredible Physical Strength
Due to the increased adrenaline levels he is able to lift up to 100 tons. He has even been known to dent adamantium. As far as limits to his strength, he only possesses the incredible strength in Hulk form. In human form, he has average strength.

Immunity
In Hulk form, he is immune to any disease that would normally kill a person.

Regeneration
The Hulk can heal quickly from any type of wound. Again, only in Hulk form.

Resistant Skin
He has a very strong layer of skin that can withstand force and temperatures of up to 3,000 degrees farenheight and down to 190 below zero.

Super Endurance
As the hulk his body does not produce a lot of the hormone that causes fatigue, so the adrenaline can keep him going for days and could possibly become even stronger as the adrenaline keeps being produced at high levels.

Spiritual Awareness
The Hulk can see those in astral form. However this is not part of the Hulk's power. This is because of the fact Bruce has repressed so much of his feelings since childhood that his mind became troubled and put up defenses. This is what came of it. However, he can only see them in Hulk form.

Mind Control Resistance
The Hulk possesses a degree of mind control resistance and this is because the mind of Bruce and Hulk are conflicting with eachother that it would take a telepath as strong as Xavier to even pierce it.

Bruce Banner's genius level intellect is Bruce's biggest weapon. He can do almost anything with it, such as build a gamma bomb. His genius is a big reason why Fury recruited him in the first place.

As far as skills go, he does have medical training and even worked in India as a doctor for the sick at one point in time.

The Hulk though, has no weapons and needs no weapons. He will just SMASH those who tick him off.

Bruce was born to Brian and Rebecca banner in 1976, in Dayton, Ohio. His father was an alcoholic who hated his son. Brian hated his son because Rebecca paid more attention to Bruce than to him. Because Bruce had high intellegence as a little boy, Brian believed his son had mutated genes. Brian began to abuse the boy at a young age and even murdered his mom infront of him.

Bruce was a withdrawn child who's only friend was his cousin Jennifer. He found it hard to make other friends, partially because he would be bullied. Bitter about how other school kids treated him, he built a bomb in the basement of his school. It wasn't a potent bomb, but he was expelled for it. The military however, saw his genius shine through the bomb and took interest. He went on to earn a doctorate in nuclear physics and the military hired him.

Working as a scientist, Bruce was approached by General Thaddeus Ross, his former flame's father, about participating in a experiment in which he said was an experiment to make humans immune to gamma radiation, however Ross' objective was to restart the super solder program once put into place by Dr. Abraham Erskine, the creator of Captain America. This went awry as Banner was exposed to too much of the gamma radiation. This caused him to transform into the Hulk, thanks to the repressed emotions he had been carrying since childhood. He destroyed the lab, injured his girlfriend and fled. Bruce stayed hidden, knowing he was being persued by Thaddeus and the military.

Years later, he returned to Culver University Labs, where he was originally turned into the hulk. He reunited with Betty who was dating someone else. It was there he was approached with a possible cure only to find out the real intention of the cure was to give humans a taste of what it is like to be the hulk, in hopes of having humans move forward in evolution. Disgusted by this, Bruce tried to have the cure destroyed but was attacked by Ross and his soldiers and was detained.

Meanwhile Emil Blonksy who wanted to be like the Hulk, was given a dose of gamma rays and Bruce's blood, which caused him to become a creature much worse than The Hulk, called Abomination.

Because The Hulk was the only being that could defeat The Abomination, Banner convinced Ross to release him from custody. Ross complied and The Hulk was able to defeat Abomination by choking him. He came face to face with Betty as the Hulk to share a moment but fled after that. He began to work on controlling the beast within and has been all around the world, until Fury sent Black Widow to get him in India.
