Charles Xavier was back again as he needed to get away. Moira told him not to do much but he didn't do much about that. He needed to get away to some place he remembered. So he took his car and drove off. He didn't leave a message to the Staff because they didn't have to worry for him. When he was driving for awhile he suddenly felt a presence.
He wasn't sure what was going on as he drove further to the place. When he finally was there after a few minutes, he looked to the place. It was Alkali Lake and something in the Lake was there. He remembered the day that the Phoenix was here as he sat down on one of the rocks looking to the lake waiting what would happen.

The lake gleam beneath the blazing sun and to the unsuspecting person, it would appear as a paradise on earth. But to a certain mutant, the lake held a dark and terrifying secret. Jean stood on the edge of the rocks, staring into the horizon as she tried to understand the feelings that were racing against her mind. Blurred images that might have once been memories began to suffocate her as if another entity was forcing her to search for someone important. Pounding her fists into her skull, the red haired girl as about at wits end until a familiar presence pulled her back into the confusing reality.
Jean slowly turned as her eyes tried to pick up the strange, and yet powerful presence that completely stopped her in her tracks. Her heart skipped a beat and without realizing it, tears from an unknown source were falling against her cheeks. New to this odd sensation, Jean marveled at how happy she felt as if she it was her first time. Losing sense of time and her surroundings, she urged herself to find the source of these emotions and she couldn’t stop as if someone else had control over her body.
In a matter of minutes a figure across the lake made himself known as he gazed across the waters, trying to look for something specific. Certain that he was the cause for all the confusing commotion, Jean started to cross the lake in a dream-like state. That is when she realized this man had some control over her and she did not even know why. Angered at the thought of his influenced, her green eyes narrowed as she manipulated the waves towards him to break the control he had over her. The rush of psychic powers formed a heavy tidal wave and although her powers had little control where the waters fell, Jean was pushing herself to escape the joy she felt for this mysterious man.

Charles found the presence as he saw a girl on the edge of the rocks. As he saw it getting closer, he knew who it was. As he felt how her body was acting he looked to her. He was controlling her body without doing anything. His mind was doing nothing as he felt tidal waves getting back to him. He was lucky that he could block them as he looked how that person came closer.
When it was finally near him , he looked into the green eyes of what was his old student, his old daughter, Jean Grey or maybe the Phoenix. "Hello Jean."Charles said as he was still sitting on the stone as he looked to her. "As you can see, I am still here."He said. "I could protect myself, trying to help you my daughter."He said as he gave a small smile.

Even as she assaulted him, the man merely evaded the attack as easy as she summoned it. He held no hostility, he even looked happy to see her. The patient smile on his face brought back a memory that she never seen before. She was thirteen and she could feel the fear coming from her parents as they tried desperately to help their daughter. Jean believed she was alone and that no else could even begin to understand the torment she had to live with on a daily basis. Then the Professor came into her life. He didn’t fear her and he did not shun her when she pushed him away or displayed irrational behavior. Instead he was always there for her, he protected her, and he was the one person who could understand her because he went through it himself.
“Professor?” Jean whispered, the anger easily vanishing as if never happened. Standing in front of Charles Xavier was phenomenal and surprising all at one. Jean was almost afraid to touch her mentor, her father, in case this was all a dream; a dream she did not want to wake up from and return to the grim life she knew with Mr. Sinister.
“You’re here and alive.” Jean’s voice was quiet, as she trembled, as she tried to make sense of the situation. Details were lost and trying to understand just brought back the pain of losing her dear friends. “How can this happen? I don’t understand.”

Charles looked to Jean as he got closer to her as he hold his arms open as he hugged her. "Shh I am here Jean, don't be afraid my child."He said. "I was always there for you, as you can see I am still here."He said. "The mind is stronger then the sword Jean."He said. "I always thought you that the mind was strong."Charles said looking to her again. "I can walk again and that is also why I am here."He said. "I want you back in my life, my daughter."He said. "Come back to me."Charles said. "I brought my mind to my brothers body at Moira. She helped me get back."He said as he looked to her, still hugging her.

What Professor Xavier was telling her seemed like a fairy tale, but she knew what he told her was the truth. She knew, without question, his powers are great and he wanted nothing more than what was best for her. But the second she was willing to return his hug and accept his wonderful offer, the memory of his death caused her to retreat. It was odd Jean forgot that she was the one who killed him, the one to choose power over her childhood teacher. He tried his best to reach her, to make her understand everything he did was to protect her, but instead she refuse to listen and eliminated him to stop him from persuading her further. And yet, here he was standing against all physical laws, concerned and more than pleased to have her return.
“I killed you,” Jean spoke, fear swelled up inside. “What makes you believe that won’t happen again? I deserted you and you still want me to come back home. I couldn’t bear to lose you again, especially if I’m the one to cause your death.”
Everyone word was true and the responsibility of his death, and the death of many others was a burden she refused to forgive herself. If she could stop herself before another rise happened, she would and if it meant distancing herself from the people and the father she loved, she was willing to make the sacrifice. Jean never doubted Professor Charles Xavier ability to keep his students safe and she believed his caused to keep peace between humans and mutants. But there were some things that didn’t add up and if she’s going to discover what those secrets were, she felt it would be best to search alone and away from anyone she could harm.

"Jean I always protected you, and you never killed me as you can see."He said as he looked to her. "Please Jean, trust me, come back to your father."He said as he looked to her. He saw how confused and all Jean was as he looked to her. He didn't use his mind powers as he knew what happened last time. "Jean if you don't trust me, who can you trust then."He said. "I never knew you would be here, all the time."He said.
He never heard anything from Logan about the death of Jean but he knew that day well as he was still there around. Medical check up by Moira made him work more and better for his health. "Jean, I want to help you again, please let me help you."He said as he hold out his hand waiting what she would do.

There was power in the words her Professor spoke. The way he looked upon her and the way he kindly held out his hand waiting, was something only someone patient and caring would do. As a child slowly maturing into her mutant powers, one of the first lessons the Professor taught his students was to care about each other, even if they were mutant or human. That advice stayed with her throughout the difficult times, especially when it was hard to forgive, but she remembered the Professor telling her that everyone made mistakes. The same was true now as Charles Xavier had all but forgotten what happened in the past and was ready to move on towards the future.
“Professor, I don’t understand what is happening most of the time. There are gaps, but you know me better than anyone else.” Jean softly said as she looked how healthy the Professor was, standing there alive right in front of her against all odds. He has survived death and had come back stronger than before. He had more courage than normal people could ever imagine. “I almost forgot one of your most important lessons and I do trust you, Professor.”
Jean accepted his hand, with no fear or regrets, although the future looked uncertain. Meeting the Professor could not have been less than coincidence and all hope did not seem lost, but at least she was finally going home.

Charles looked to her as he felt the hand of Jean. He smiled as he took her closer. "It is nice to have you back again Jean."Charles said. He heard what she said about the part of not knowing some parts. "Everyone can have that problem, I sometimes have it too, and that is what I try to teach my students Jean."He said. "That is why I also made you a teacher, you knew the lesson as I raised you."Charles said. "You was the student, that had my powers and who could teach you better, then myself."He said as he gave a smile. "Now are you ready to go home again with your father?"Charles asked looking to her.

The professor was right, like she remembered he always used to be. He knew the best for each student, even before they knew it themselves. She always envied his gifts to work with each mutant individually and how to focus on their strengths, yet at the same time learn to overcome their weaknesses. He played a large role in her dreams to be a doctor and a teacher, so that she could someday be strong as the Professor and used her abilities for the good.
"I am, father." Jean replied, taking this time to relax against all the pressure of the past, the future, everything. "And thank-you, Professor, for everything." She thanked him, ready to follow him back home and to the rest of her family.
