After a long flight from San Francisco to New York, Alex could be seen entering the front hall of the Xavier Institute carrying a large suit case with one hand that had all of his clothes, including his super hero uniform. Even though the view of the hall was amazing, Alex really didn't pay much attention to it since he was tired to the point where his eyes were red. I hope that FBI guy was telling me the truth about this power of mine. If he wasn't then I would have wasted most of my spending money for the year thought Alex.

Garret was sitting on a bench on the first floor when he heard the door open downstairs. He looked around, seeing no one else around, wandering down. He stop half way down the steps, and looked at the new arrival. Garret was wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. Nothing to extraordinary. He shuffled the rest of the way down to the end of the stairs.
Garret looked quizzically at the new person, his head cocked to the left a bit. His eyes had dark circles underneath them, and he had this over all, downed look to him. “Hello.” He said, his voice seemed toneless and sullen. Garret focused on the other guy trying to sense his emotions, he seemed tired. “You must be new here.”

As Alex saw Garret on the steps, he appeared to be like any other teenager he has seen. However when he got a closer look after Garret walked down the stairs, he couldn't help but notice the dark circles underneath his eyes and that his overall appearance was quite depressing. When the teenager spoke, Alex couldn't help but notice how toneless his voice was.
"Hi, my name is Alex Green and I'm looking for professor Xavier. What's your name?" asked Alex.

Garrett had kept his hands in the front pocket of his sweatshirt. When the new man had told him his name. Then he also said he was here to see the professor. “The Professor's office is to the left.” Garrett said, pointing with his left hand. Then his hand quickly shot back into the pocket.
When Alex had asked Garrett his name, Garrett responded, his voice as sullen as ever, “The name is Garrett.” He didn't offer his hand, he actually sort of took a step back up. He had forgotten his gloves back in his room, and he didn't want to give Alex a nasty surprise. It isn't polite to cause tuns of pain to a someone you first meet.

Jean closed the door behind her, coming into the front hall. She recently started to train students again, since the presence of the Professor needed him to be someplace else. Working with students again made Jean feel like her old self and after what has happened lately, it felt good to have her old structured life. Entering the mansion, she found two young men, probably students she thought as soon as she saw one with a suitcase. There were many students she hadn’t met yet, having been gone for more than three months, and these two were among the ones she yet to meet.
"Hello," Jean replied, making her presence known, as she walked over to the two talking men. Briefly at the sound of the Professor’s name, Jean’s curiosity perked up and looked to the new arrival. Thinking he must be a new student, the red head gently smiled. "I’m sorry for disturbing your conversation," She commented. "I don’t think the Professor is in. Do you need any help?"
[Ooc: Sorry for jumping in like this, Garrett. Alex needed me to reply.]

"Nice to meet you Garret" said Alex as he extending his hand towards the teen unaware that he wouldn't touch his hand due to the nature of his power. Alex would then hear a near by door close and looked towards the sound's direction to see a red haired woman appearing to be 8 years older than Alex walking towards them saying hello. She would then apologize for interrupting their conversation and told Alex that she thinks that the professor left. This piece of information made Alex feel a bit frustrated since he had only intended to come here for one day to unlock this ability he supposedly had which could only be achieved after talking to Xavier.
"I do need help, but it's a problem that only the professor can help me with. So if you happen to know when he's coming back, tell me and I'll be back " said Alex right before he yawned for he was still tired from his flight.

Jean noticed how tired the new arrival was. He wanted to meet with the Professor, but having the knowledge he could be gone for a few weeks, maybe less maybe more, the teacher wasn’t sure what to say to him. It was a curious thing to wonder what he needed with the Professor, but Jean kept her thoughts to herself. Charles Xavier was a great person to confine with because not only did he was the potential to help anyone with his powers, but he had a very wise personality that made it hard for anyone to deny his help. Secretly Jean Grey hoped to be like him someday.
"I’m unsure when he’ll return. He can disappear for long periods of times and usually leaves someone else in his stead." She answered, half concerned and half interested. "You can seek the help of Ororo Monroe, who is the Head Mistress here. Or maybe I can help you."

Damn... I can't stay here for a long period of time. I need to be at work in 2 days thought Alex after he was told that the professor sometimes left for long periods of time. As Jean mentioned that Ororo Monroe or herself could probably help, Alex couldn't help but noticed that she seemed somewhat concerned and interested in his problem by the tone of her voice, so he figured that it wouldn't hurt telling her his problem.
"As you may or may not know, I'm a mutant that has super strength and invulnerability, and I have been using these power to help people. However, after encountering this guy from the FBI, I was almost killed by some ability that I didn't know I have and he sealed it away. I honestly have no idea what it is, but if it could be used to help people, I figured that I should unlock it. According to the FBI agent, the only way I can unlock it is by talking to professor Xavier. After that, I'll be out of you're hair and go back home to practice controlling my ability" explained Alex knowing full well that she would probably assume that he was using his powers as vigilante due to the nature of his powers.
"Oh, by the way, my name is Alex Green" said Alex as he just realized that he forgot to introduce himself to the red haired woman.

Jean listened carefully to the predicament Alex was in. For some reason an FBI agent sealed his mutant abilities and now he could no longer use them. In the same sense, Jean could feel a strong resembles in the same situation he was in. Her powers have, and are sealed by the Professor, but for entire different reasons. But then again, she was still able to use them at will. If he was searching for the Professor, perhaps that is why Alex needed to see him. To allow his powers to return so that he can use them again.
Jean thought for a moment and wondered if she had the right to work in the Professor’s stead. She was unsure though because after not using her powers for long, she wasn’t positive if she could help or if it would harm him. Although, she never tried.
"“My name is Jean Grey," she answered when he introduced himself. "I understand you situation. In fact, I might have a solution if you don’t wish to wait for the Professor. I have similar powers as the Professor and I might be able to help you, if you want. But I must warn you though, I don’t have the training to do what Charles Xavier does."

((OOC: I hope you don't mind me joining in ) Adam was in his hotel when thoughts of the young man he had met filled his mind. He reasoned that he had a responsibility to check on him. After all, Xavier had been pretty busy lately. He sighed. He put on a simple black T-shirt and a pair of blue jeans. They had that torn and aged look that was so stylish these days. He yawned as he focused and transported to the Front Hall. He yawned again, not bothering to cover his mouth. His attention was soon picked up by a nearby conversation. He heard the words F.B.I Agent. When he approached the source, there was the kid. His right eyebrow arched and a smile came onto his face. "Hey, look. It's you, kid. Meet with Xavier yet?" He turned around and focused on Jean. His smirk grew wider, "Hey there, Jean. Haven't seen you in a while." He'd been in touch with the X-Men every now and then to give them information but he preferred to keep his distance.

After introducing herself to Alex, Jean would tell him that she might be able to help him since her powers were similar to the professor, however she didn't have the training the professor had. Alex of course understood what that meant since he was afraid that he might break something or someone when he discovered his super strength and eventually got control of it through practice. All Jean needed was practice, though he wasn't sure what kind of power she had or the effect it could have on him.
"Well seeing how I need to be back at San Fransico for work in two days, I'll let you attempt to unlock this power. Besides, the only way you can have better control of you're powers is by practicing and I'm sure you'll do you're best not to hurt me" s said Alex.
When Adam came in, Alex didn't appear to be too thrilled that he was here since he was the one who made the mental block to block his mimicry ability.
ooc:Modified since I didn't know that Adam posted earlier.

Garrett watched as one of the teacher approached Alex. It was Jean Gray. Though Gar was quite sure she didn't know personally know him, he knew of her. She being a telepath of considerable power, much like the Professor.
Actually Garrett was relatively well know of in the school, though he mainly kept to himself. Causing the Professor to black out when he first met him, it wasn't something that was kept quite. In fact Garrett had used that little story to keep a nice wall between himself and the students, for the past 3 years.
Garrett was happy when she arrived, for Alex was wanting to shake hands with him. Though Garrett usually preferred to be polite at all times, he didn't want to cause him any unnecessary harm. Unfortunately Garrett was in a catch 22, and that issue was solved when Ms Gray had showed up. But instead of slinking off when Jean showed up, Garrett stuck around, he was kind of curious of who Alex was.
Garrett quietly listen to Alex tell Ms. Gray about who he was, and what had happened to him. He was a vigilant, someone who didn't work with any association. Garrett didn't mind that, but it did make him curious about why he was here. Garrett had walked down the stairs, trying to read Alex's emotions. Nothing was false. Which was a good thing. Then he talked about how his powers became overloaded one day when he met a FBI agent. The agent supposedly shut down his ability. Garrett was sort wistfully thought about how it would be nice to shut down his ability.
It plagued him day and night, he couldn't do anything without possibility of harming someone else. No matter how he came off as, Garrett loathed the idea of harming someone, even accidentally. He was saddened when he thought about all of the things that he missed out on, because of his powers.
Garrett was brought out of his introspective think when he heard Ms. Gray talk about trying to help him. He turned his empathic sensor on her, she was nervous. Alek then talked about needed to be back in Frisco in 2 days. He also mentioned how she wouldn't intentionally hurt him. That was when Garrett spoke up. “Ma'am can I help you?” He asked, his voice toneless and morose. “I could less any pain that may come of it.” Garrett was sure that Ms. Gray knew of him and his powers, and if she hadn't and she asked him his name, then she would know him then.
(OOC. So sorry it took so long for me to post. I basic recapped what he had seen and felt. Also if he isn't needed or he isn't addressed I'll FIN him in this post.)

(Sorry for butting in!) Nicole ran down the stairs to where people were talking. Did I hear some people talking?" She looked and saw a few new people with Jean Grey. "Oh, hey Jean. Newcomers, eh?" She raised an eyebrow and put her hand out. "I'm Nicole. Nice to meet you guys." She waited for them to touch her and get stung by the temperature of her hand and for Jean to tell her to stop playing tricks on newcomers. Nicole loved doing this on people that didn't know her but other X-Men thought she was just being rude.

So this was the very FBI agent that blocked Alex’s powers. Although Jean didn’t know him very well, she knew of him and that changed everything about this unusual situation. If Alex needed help she won’t deny that, but she couldn’t help but think how convenient that Adam walked in at the exact moment Alex was trying to get help. Of course Xavier wasn’t at the mansion currently, but just as she offered --the same man who blocked the Alex’s powers just happened to 'pop' in.
Jean shook her head, hoping to solve the dire situation. She knew what it was like unable to have your powers, so when Alex told he needed to return home in a few days, she was reluctant to send him off. "Is there anything else you need to tell me?" Jean directed the question towards Alex. It would be so much easier if she could just take the answers from him, but how many times does she have to face the morality of that decision. Besides looking between Alex and Adam, she wanted the story first why he sealed Alex’s powers and for what reason.
When she heard the student, Jean couldn’t help but worry about Garrett’s offer because as a teacher she was responsible for his safety. If something would happen to him because she was unable to control her powers, it would be ultimately her fault. She understood that h was able to absorb her pain if she came into any difficulties releasing the barrier in Alex’s mind. The unspoken thing was, her headaches have been increasing lately and a relief from pain would be heaven. But to risk her student to undeserving punishment such as that, it wouldn’t be just unethical but it would weigh heavily on Jean’s heart.
“Thank-you, Garrett. I appreciate your desire to help." Jean turned to face him. "It would be a great help, but I don’t want to endanger you, although I understand you can go through a great amount of pain." She was glad he offered, and couldn’t dismiss his help completely.
Just then Nicole came running in, completely out of the blue, and was up to her old tricks. Jean never had a chance to speak with Nicole one on one, but knew she was a trickster and enjoyed playing pranks. The red head sighed and shook her head, now looking to the young girl. "Hello Nicole. Why don’t you be friendly with our guests?"She suggested, keeping an eye on Icicle.

Adam sighed as Jean hadn't really replied to him. He knew she was wondering what had happened between Alex and him. He allowed himself into her mind, perhaps one of the few people who could actually go there, and rapidly explained the situation. He explained to her that Alex was unaware that he had Power Mimicry. Alex had unintentionally copied Adam's ability and thus passed out. Adam was able to suppress the ability before his brain short-circuited from the overload of information and detail. He then went on to explain how he had put some mental blocks, preventing Alex from using his ability until he had come here. When he was finished, he walked out of her mind, exiting. He then looked towards the new arrival, smiling. He smirked at her little trick, when he brought out his hand to shake hers, he suppressed her ability for a quick second and sent a wave of heat throughout her body. He shook her hand and then released. When he released her hand, her abilities came rushing back as normal. He looked over at Garrett. His power was...interesting and unfortunate. He felt pity for the young boy. He decided, why not offer him some help. He spoke, his words directed towards Garrett. "Hey, kid. How would you like to get control of your powers?" He looked over to Alex. "And you...I'm afraid that the only way you're going to get your power is if you enroll in this school."
