Adam could be seen standing in front of the kitchen counter with a small white package of Bores Head ham, and a piece of bread that had some of that ham on it. Normally, Adam would be preparing his sandwich without his gloves on, but seeing how some of the students were either nocturnal or didn't sleep at all, he couldn't risk anybody touching his hands, especially when they are small children. Adam would then place a slice of bread on top of of the ham before closing the loaf of bread and the package of ham. After that, he placed the bread in the cupboard and the ham back in the fridge, but before he closed the fridge door, he took long look inside of the fridge.
"Doesn't this place have any soda at all?" said Adam looking rather annoyed as he walked back to the counter to get his ham sandwich. He could of course understand why a place like this wouldn't have any beer, but soda? They should at least let these kid's drink whatever they want as long as it isn't illegal or lethal.

Rogue ran a hand through her crimson hair with a sigh. She still had to meet all the new students. There had to be some way to do it all at once. It was then she decided she put a note in everyone's room, and have them come to the multi purpose class room so she could talk to them all together. Yes, that would work. Happy with the course of action, Rogue grabbed some paper she found from the class room as well as some felt tips, before padding downstairs. She went into the kitchen, not noticing who - if anyone - was in there at first. She put the pile down onto the center island, brushing past a stool before heading for the fridge. It was on her way there she saw someone in the kitchen. Rogue was sure she had seen him before, probably, but had no idea who he was. She frowned and tilted her head briefly before opening the fridge. She grabbed a bottle of coke which she had hidden, as well as a vanilla yoghurt with choc chips in it, then grabbed a spoon and padded back to the center island. Rogue sat on the stool, placed her items on the work top infront of her before looking up at the boy. It was then she noticed the gloves.
"Why do ya wear the gloves?"
She asked. Rogue had never seen anyone wear gloves apart from herself. She was dressed in black trousers, a long sleeved grey t-shirt, grey elbow length gloves, a black scarf, and a pair of black trainers, with her hair down in loose curls.

As Adam took a bite from his sandwich, he noticed a red haired woman that seemed to be around his age walk into the room and grabbed a yogurt and a bottle of coke. So that's where the soda is thought Adam as she started to walk towards the island he was at. When she got there, he couldn't help but notice her elbow length gloves and the scarf that she was wearing, which told Adam that she was covering her body for some reason. Adam decided to ask her once he swallowed his food, and as he did, the woman asked him why he was wearing gloves.
"I have the ability to absorb the powers, skills, and memories of anybody I make skin contact with. The process is very painful for the person I make contact with and that person could die if I maintain contact long enough. This power of mine is always active and the last thing I want to do is hurt anybody. Are you wearing those gloves and that scarf because you have a dangerous ability that involves physical contact?" asked Adam before taking another bite of his sandwich.

Rogue completely froze at the boy's response. WHAT THE HELL?! Her mind was screaming. How on earth did someone have the exact same ability as her? She didn't understand. It just couldn't compute. Sure, there was more then one telepath, and she had no doubt other abilities could be found in more then one person. However, she had never thought for a single second that someone else could have the exact same curse as her. The exact same. Suddenly a wave of emotions flooded through her. There was relief and joy at the fact she wasn't actually alone. However she also felt worthlessness, insignificance, and disappointment that now, the only thing that made her any different from anyone else, was pretty much gone - she was no longer unique. She didn't know whether to smile or break down in tears. Her body seemed to be leaning towards tears. She wasn't special any more. She wasn't the only one. He didn't even have control either...
"Ah... ah... ahm the same... Ya... ya... ya have my power..."
Rogue stammered, unable to focus on anything. Before she knew it, Rogue passed out, and her body fell off the stool to fall with a thud to the floor.

Adam couldn't help but raise his right eye brow in confusion as Rogue appeared to be on the verge of breaking out into tears, but it all became completely clear once she stated that they had the same power. When Adam heard this, he couldn't help but wonder if her powers were natural or artificial like his. And before he could say anything, she suddenly fell off her stool and fell onto the floor with a loud thud. Adam quickly dropped his sandwich onto the table and crouched near her body to see if she was hurt. After taking a good minute to see if she was hurt, the only thing he noticed was a bump on the back of her head, which told him that the only thing he needed to worry about was the fact that she fainted.
Adam would then place the woman into her arms before lifting her up, and carried the taller woman into the commons of the school where he saw two kids on a sofa watching Robot Chicken on T.V. "I need you guys to get off of the couch now" said Adam. The two kids at first figured that they could just move to the other side of the couch, but when they saw Rogue in his hands, they quickly got off of the couch and went to their rooms knowing full well what might happen if they touch her. Adam would the gently place Rogue's body onto the couch and used the couch's arm to elevate her head. Before he did this, he did think about sitting down on the couch with her head on her lap, but he figured that it would be very creepy to suddenly wake up on some stranger's lap.
After placing Rogue on the couch, he would sit down in a near by chair to watch over her.

It was a few minutes before Rogue began to stirr. The first thing she realised was that she was laid on something comfortable. She groaned a little, lifting a hand to rub the back of her head as her eyes fluttered open. What had hit her? Then Rogue remembered everything. How on earth was it possible someone had the exact same power as her? She didn't understand. It didn't seem possible. On one hand, she did feel it was a relief she wasn't alone. On the other... she felt devastated she no longer had anything special about her. Unique. Biting her lip she felt tears running down her cheeks as she slowly sat up on the couch. Sniffing she wiped the tears away with the palms of her hands as she tried to control her emotions. She didn't want to break down like this. Unfortunately, that didn't help. She was on the verge of some kind of breakdown, and the psyches in her mind were taking advantage of that.
Magneto's psyche the strongest as he came to the forefront of her mind. Rogue could imagine him smirking inside her head as he spoke to her; Ha. You're not special any more Rogue. You weren't special to begin with. Only your power made you stand out, and now you don't even have that. You know, if you kill him you can have it all back... Rogue tried to tune his voice out of her head. She couldn't deal with him right now. Fortunately, Logan's psyche began pushing Magneto's back. Logan whether real or her psyche was always protective of her.
Rogue then realised she wasn't alone in the room. Sniffing she looked over at the boy sat near her.
"How... How... How do ya have my power?"
She stammered.

Adam watched as the woman stirred as she tried to wake up and he couldn't help but feel happy about the fact that there was someone like him. Sure her powers may be natural unlike his, but they both know the lonesome feeling of not being able to make any kind of physical contact with their friends and the ones they love. Wait, if we have the same ability, does that mean our powers will cancel out we touch? thought Adam as he couldn't help but smile in excitement. After all, this woman might be the only way for him to turn his back on his life as a weapon and live a normal life. When Rogue woke up, Adam snapped back to reality and the smile faded away as he noticed that Rogue seemed to be devastated about the fact that someone else has the same kind of powers.
Oh yeah... I'm technically Weapon X's property thought Adam a few seconds after he snapped back to reality. It wasn't a pleasing thought, but he had to face the fact that even though he might have found a loop hole in the curse his power brought with him, he needed to find a way to escape Weapon X, which was almost impossible. Rogue would then ask the young 20 year old how he had her power.
"Are you alright?" asked Adam looking concerned about her well being than the question that she just asked. After all, there is more than one mutant with telepathy, so one can easily assume that there can be more than one mutant with the ability to absorb powers.

Rogue found herself frowning as the boy ignored her question entirely. He wasn't going to tell? How could he not tell? What if he was lieing? That may not be his power. He could know about her and have told her that as some kind of joke. Or he had a power that could cop other peoples powers temporarily, and so he only said that because technically he did have them right now but then they would be gone. That made sense. Right? Shaking her head, she looked away from the boy as she stood up. Leaving the couch she left the rec room and went back into the kitchen. Rogue wasn't sure what she was going to do but she knew she had to do something. How on earth was she supposed to deal with this? She didn't understand. Rogue sat down on the stool she had been on earlier and found she couldn't even focus on the papers she had brought down. Shaking her head she found herself just staring into space.
This had definately been a shock to the system.

That's not good thought Adam as she just shook his head and headed back to the kitchen. The fact that she didn't say anything gave Adam the impression that she was probably shocked that they had the same ability. Adam would then go back into the kitchen figuring that it would be best to talk to her and at the very least get his sandwich before someone threw it away. When he entered the kitchen, he noticed that she was appeared to be concentrating on what was on a piece a paper.
"You know, I really wouldn't say that I have your ability. If I did, then that would indicate that I had some how taken it from you or had simply copied it. The ability I have is in fact a secondary mutation which I had recently received" said Adam using his acting skills and his charm ability to hide the fact that he actually lied about the origin of his absorption ability.

A secondary mutation? Rogue had never heard of those. Logan had two abilities though... Well, three kinda. He had his healing ability, and natural bone claws. He had been operated on though and adamantium metal forged to every bone in his body, making his bone claws into metallic ones. Due to his healing ability he had been able to survive the surgery. Only someone with healing ability could do that. There were more people with healing abilities then she thought, because Stryker had a woman who had the same adamantium skeleton as Logan, with claws. She didn't think the lady had any other mutant ability. Sabertooth... although he had claws, he didn't have the adamantium skelton, and his claws were more animal-like anyway. Hell, everything about Sabertooth was more animal-like. He gave her the creeps. Rogue began thinking about her ability. No. Her power was not the type that could be secondary. Not naturally. Healing, yes that was secondary. A primary ability was usually the bigger one, the dominating one. The secondary was usually passive. A small addition. His power, the one similiar to hers, could not have been a secondary power - at least not naturally. Which left her with one solution...
Had Magneto taken her blood when he had kidnapped her, and somehow whoever gave this boy his power had gotten her blood, injected it into his body, and therefore gave him her ability? It seemed plausible.
"It ain't natural. It ain't secondary. Tell meh the truth."

"There are mutants out there that can control minds, fly, and even shoot laser beams from their eyes. How on Earth can you consider this ability to be unnatural when there are people out there that can defy the natural laws of physics and do things that people didn't think were possible until now. Plus it's not uncommon for a mutant to develop an ability that doesn't relate to their first ability" explained Adam using his charm ability to make his argument seem reasonable and bullet proof. After all, the last thing Adam wants is to have his cover exposed or the young woman to be eliminated for being a liability to his mission.

Rogue frowned.
"Ah don't care how you try to word it, that power ain't a secondary mutation. Ah've lived with it naturally. Its in meh dna. Ah know mutants who have more then one ability. The primary is the biggest power. Any second or third ability is smaller, passive, like healin' or empathy. It ain't a dangerous skin mutation like mine. Now ya either tell me the truth or ah will find it."
She stated firmly, not willing to budge on the issue. Rogue was very stubborn, and with the amount of psyches in her head it made using any kind of charm ability close to ineffective. Right now Rogue was like a pitbull with a bone in its mouth. She wasn't going to be diverted, and besides, Rogue had never had a guy flirt with her really or try to seduce her. She wouldn't know what it was like unless someone clearly pointed it out for her.

"Has anybody told you that you look very cute when your determined?" asked Adam with a charming smile as he started to walk closer to her while taking off his right glove. Adam knew that he needed to at least get her mind off of the origin of his powers. Even if his seduction skills weren't necessarily his best spying skills, it was far better than having his cover exposed. Although the fact that Adam thought that she was attractive could help his seduction skills a bit. Once Adam was close enough to the point where their bodies were close enough that they were almost touching, he looked her in the eyes and said "If I were you, I would be more concerned on whether or not we can touch"
As soon as Adam said "touch", he would attempt to lightly caress her left side of her face with his now uncovered right hand. If Rogue were to let Adam touch her, the two would discover that they could actually touch each other without the fear of harming each other in the process with their powers.

Rogue's expression turned confused at the guy's response. She tilted her head at him as a light blush rose on her cheeks as she realised he had just complimented her. It was like he was flirting with her. Was he? As he advanced towards her Rogue completely forgot what she had been trying to get him to tell her. Hell, she had forgotten anything she had said previously. What was he doing?! Instinctively Rogue backed up on the couch until her back was pressed hard against the back of the couch. She had never been the one to experience her ability. She wasn't entirely sure she wanted to feel it from the 'victims' view point. It would not help her. She suddenly noticed one of his hands were glove free. Before she could react his bare hand was touching her left cheek. Rogue flinched, but then she realised nothing was happening. If he did indeed have her power, then it wasn't working - she couldn't feel it. She couldn't even feel her own power working either. He was touching her. Touch.
Without hesitation Rogue ripped off her own gloves and took the guy's hand which was on her cheek into both her hands. She looked at his hand in awe as she flipped his hand this way and that whilst every inch of her own hands touched, caressed, poked, and smoothed over his skin. She could touch.
"Ah can touch!"

Adam couldn't help but smile when he realized that he was able to touch her without harming her. Shortly after he touched her, Rouge took off her gloves and grabbed his hand before she started flipping his hand around, poking it and caressing it. And as she did this, Adam couldn't help but notice how soft her hands were and how nice it was to make physical contact after several months.
"Your skin's very soft. By the way, my name is Adam Black, what's your name beautiful?"asked Adam hoping that she didn't find his flirting cheesy. From what he could tell it was working so far, but he always felt like a fool whenever he did.
